The National Security Archive acclaimed for "piercing self-serving veils of government secrecy" and "serving as an essential journalistic resource" fights daily to grow an often ghastly online trove of unbelievable most recent through decades past U.S. government supposedly "Top Secret" and other withheld documents The government sought to or did destroy or withhold to hide its despicable history and culture of routine criminal activity. The archive also includes timely information about government illegal FOIA stalling practices.
Especially disturbing is the U.S. DOJ direction of continuing grossly unlawful acts which can be justified under no reasonable legal interpretation or analysis for Which DOJ top officials should be prosecuted. As to producing information to the public DOJ and other agencies routinely violating federal FOIA laws often taking years to produce documents to the public which are due within twenty days of request. All Americans may request these under law as detailed at the below-linked National Security Archive site.
See most recently how DOJ already known to have okayed illegal acts of torture including under domestic and international treaties such as the Geneva Convention now attempts to keep all information from the People and even top government withholding the U.S. Senate Torture Report even from high government officials on the totally specious ground that it is "not a public record". DOJ officials contrary to DOJ's name have been proving to be some of the most dangerous criminals to the integrity of the U.S. Constitution in the U.S. government who should be disbarred and imprisoned for the knowing issuance of bogus legal opinions completely justifying and covering up things such as acts of torture by the U.S. government not to mention countless other misdeeds completely contrary to a "Nation of laws".
