New York Times Belatedly "Discovers" Payback Perry is A Common Criminal

Thursday, 25 August 2011, NEW YORK, NEW YORK - The editors and global staff of the Ninth Amendment remind READERS THAT IT IS WRONG TO BYPASS THE NEW YORK TIMES SUPER-SPIFFY MULTI-MILION DOLLAR PAYWALL AND ENJOY UNLIMITED FREE READING OF THE DIGITAL NEW YORK TIMES SIMPLY BY SETTING READERS' FIREFOX BROWSERS TO "PRIVATE BROWSING".
The Ninth Amendment has reviewed a cursory summary of the criminal transparent payback corruption of Texas Governor Payback Rick "Six-Shooter" Perry and his aides for nothing more than big piles of cash. Accordingly the Ninth Amendment editors and staff feel that it continues to be necessary largely to recap its comments to the Times as we are without knowledge whether they will be digitally published by the Times.
It is by no means merely the Payback Perry corruption so belatedly reported in the Times now, but the fact is that if any entity has the resources to uncover less obvious but potentially much more serious wrongdoing it is the Times and the Obama Administration's executive enforcement agencies which should be working overtime. Since many of Payback Perry's patronage jobs fall within Texas state law enforcement, a federal agency with leads generated by well-funded press organizations should be taking immediate action to uncover further probable wrongdoing. This in all likelihood could turn out to be equally obvious when uncovered and subject Payback Perry and his organization to very serious penalties indeed.
Obviously such an individual would be completely unfit to serve as President of the United States in 2012, especially if he or she were, for example, in solitary confinement. Disclosures and prosecutions when completed BEFORE Payback Perry might be "elected" with perhaps Ms. Palin as, Lord forbid, Vice-President would deny her the opportunity to serve as Vice-President due to the voters ignorance, then proudly take here mantle as replacement President and immediately pardon Payback Perry a la Nixon-Ford. The Ninth Amendment comment to the Times follows.

The editors and global staff of the Ninth Amendment log are gratified The New York Times has FINALLY awoken from its slumber regarding Texas Governor Payback Rick Perry. "Six-shooter" Perry is the man who would be animal husbander (in the words of Tom Lehrer) had he not found a MUCH more lucrative route to "financial independence" (yeah, right) by first going into politics as a Democrat and then changing to a Republican, "ka-ching".
Perry could care less what he is, but readers are URGED to review this information from two years of our posts in some easy reading, and the Times better move FAST to expose Perry for the criminal he is. ( See "Horseshoe Bay"). Payback Pery refused to delay a Texas inmate's execution for a brief period when strong new evidence supported a very good likelihod that Texas would and did kill the WRONG MAN solely because Perry's handlers told Perry delay from the usual two-in-a-day Texas executions would hurt his chances in an upcoming election.
Perry despite his copious retinue of security personnel also himself shot and killed a coyote that he claimed "threatened him". Upon an aide's reading from a newspaper that no coyote in North America had EVER threatened a human, Perry quickly changed his story to clarify that actually the coyote had threatened his DOG. In a year of preaching and taking in over one million dollars Perry himself reported $93 in annual church contributions perhaps (but unlikely) in remorse over his cold-blooded muders.
Despite his own oral account of his self-proclaimed success as a Boy Scout, Perry completely lacks moral or any other kind of remotely "good" character. The man has nothing at all except criminal proceeds and an abiding love of himself. The Times if it has any self-respect left should be the newspaper of record to see that Payback Perry spends the 2012 election incarcerated entirely on the basis of FEDERAL INVESTIGATION AND PROSECUTION since he is in bed now with other Texas and nearby state office holders, enforcement officials and powerful business leaders. The last thing one wants to do is highlight any Payback Perry criminal issue with them since that merely is sending in the fox to guard the henhouse.

Libya Chaotic Descent into Iraqi-Type Hell Continues - Obama Sleeps - Col. Qadaffi Nowhere to be Found

Wednesday, 24 August 2011, TRIPOLI - The Ninth Amendment discourages READERS FROM CIRCUMVENTING THE NEW YORK TIMES SPIFFY PAYWALL TO READ UNLIMITED TIMES DIGITAL CONTENT SIMPLY BY READERS SETTING THEIR FIREFOX BROWSERS TO "PRIVATE BROWSING". The Ninth Amendment's apologies to Times readers who have previously seen some of these recent Ninth Amendment postings when the Times has decided to include them, which we are unable to predict. The editors and global staff of this log have decided that in the wake of the growing disenchantment with President Obama in any case, he better be aware that this situation could be his death knell.

Just as predicted here at the Ninth Amendment log the show in Libya only worsens. We warned yesterday that President Obama must get off the Vineyard and into some SERIOUS action with KNOWLEDGEABLE people to manage a transition in Libya, or we will see Iraq playing out scene by scene once again just as un-elected  "President" George "little shrub" Bush flew his "Mission Accomplished" banner then got the hell out of there.
The shameful US incompetents who eventually showed up in Iraq with zero country-rebuilding experience quickly managed then with three orders to proceed to fully descend Iraq into chaos and disaster. If President Obama were still "experimenting with drugs" and "learning he was selfish" during the post-Iraq invasion, he better take in some recent history real fast and wake up NOW! President Obama, we warned you yesterday, you are setting yourself up for getting your clock cleaned in 2012.
Look at the Times, the Ninth Amendment log was off we are afraid in comparing this to post-US destruction Iraq. This promises to be MUCH WORSE. We predicted it, the looting, the burning, kids including plain civilians making off with armories and records and carrying away huge new machine guns. And we have nobody on the ground, except maybe a few CIA agents, special forces, Cheney black death contractors doing Lord knows what, and trapped reporters.
Certainly the US is establishing no order before TOTAL CHAOS descends. And one more thing, the NATO commander says he has "no idea" where Colonel Qaddafi even is - oh, this is looking EVEN better than Iraq now, where we at least had SOME forces on the ground and actually caught and hung Saddam Hussein in a military monkey trial for not being our "lapdog" anymore
Well, judging by that statue the Times has shown us 100 times of Reagan's jet being crushed in 1986, we will not have a lap dog on the loose here, just say, let us guess, a very ugly NEW civil war. Perry-Palin in 2012. American Apocalypse in 2013.

The New York Times Worthless Libya Analysis - Obama in Trouble as Libya Sinks Into Chaos

Col. Moammar el-Qaddafi copyright New York Times

Tuesday, 23 August 2011, TRIPOLI - The Ninth Amendment reminds READERS THAT THEY SHOULD NOT BYPASS THE NEW YORK TIMES PAYWALL AND READ UNLIMITED DIGITAL CONTENT SIMPLY BY SETTING THEIR FIREFOX BROWSERS TO "PRIVATE BROWSING".
What follows is a second comment submitted to The New York Times today as the Times reported that the Iraq-style chaos was "good news" for President Obama. The earlier comment posted here today was published in the digital Times.
COMMENT BY BigMartin: As the Ninth Amendment reported this morning, anyone who writes "This is good for Obama" (i.e. The Times sidepiece) must have rocks in their head. Lying rebels being supported by US and NATO warplanes with "precision" (defense contractor terminology for 1000/1000 target misses in Iraq) hits dropping the last of their death bombs willy-nilly on the civilian population of two million in the CITY of Tripoli. No aftergame plan. Oh, yes, this sure does look good. Iraq exponentially. This looks about as good for President Obama as Payback Perry will be tap-dancing on the White House Portico. This is a recipe for disaster.
President Obama better be reading something other than the Times, or it is Perry-Palin in 2012 and American Apocalypse in 2013.

President Obama Sleeps As Libya Descends into Chaos - Why Not Just Give Perry the Presidency?

Tuesday, 23 August 2011, TRIPOLI - The Ninth Amendment reminds READERS NOT TO BYPASS THE NEW YORK TIMES PAYWALL AND READ UNLIMITED DIGITAL CONTENT SIMPLY BY SETTING THEIR FIREFOX BROWSERS TO "PRIVATE BROWSING". Readers looking for accurate "news" are advised to take a look here. Sounds like the Times and other news organizations took the bait as they "report" the "rebel victory" in Libya while holed up in a hotel in Tripoli - where as this morning's Times shows with Qaddafi's son's visit they are under the protection of - oh my, Colonel Qaddafi. Maybe the world press should try leaving the hotel and take a stroll around the city on their own.
Please give us some real news, like the old Times, not a meaningless photo montage which could have been made at a soundstage in Los Angeles. As for President Obama, he better wake up pretty soon out there on the Vineyard. All he has yet to do is get on a ship with a "Mission Accomplished" banner on it, as he sets up Payback Perry to be the Nation's next President. Meanwhile no doubt Cheney is licking his chops for business opportunities for his Black Death contractors.
Has President Obama lost it? He is getting ready to have his clock cleaned. Meanwhile what IS going on in Libya, looks like the Obama administration is doing its best, should the "good guys" win, to bring Libya into a state like Iraq's after George "little shrub" Bush was done with Iraq. Excuse us, but who did you say would be in charge when Qaddafi's gone?
No doubt, President Obama's first move will be to "disband" the army, whatever that is, if he follows the Bush "plan". Then the world can watch Libya rapidly descend into killing, kidnapping, looting, arson and total destruction of whatever Libyan infrastructure is left. Oh yes, the rebel clowns can be in charge then, although we cannot quite trust them now as to whether they have won or lost. Wait until the U.S., NATO, and the rest of the world leaves Libya behind. The United States will be safely ensconced in the "Green Zone", or whatever color the Generals get to choose.
Wake up President Obama, time to get off the Vineyard and join the world unless you want to be out on your ranch in Chicago by 2013. We are serious now. You are losing the country fast, Mr. President. Best to make some effort also not to lose even more of the world while you are ON VACATION. Or you will have plenty of time for vacation and to chaperon your daughters. You showed us you were smart in 2008. Has someone since put marbles in your head. It is REALLY time to come through on now, or you are done. Kaput. Sayanora. See you in the funny papers. We are serious, can you tell?

Ninth Amendment's Belated Opinion of DISCOUNT TIRE As One of the Best Places to Buy Tires

Sunday, 21 August 2011, SCOTTSDALE, AZ, The Ninth Amendment discourages readers from READING UNLIMITED NEW YORK TIMES MATERIAL WITHOUT PAYING TO AVOID THE TIMES "PAYWALL" SIMPLY BY READERS USING THEIR FIREFOX BROWERS SET TO "PRIVATE BROWSING". For our loyal readers who have followed recent Ninth Amendment posts our plan is in place to greatly expand the breadth, content and formatting of the Ninth Amendment with the addition of new editors and staff members to expand on our core log material which readers have grown to expect.
Just one element of that expansion to the Ninth Amendment will be significantly expanded coverage of consumer issues including the personal opinions garnered where there is generally a consensus of Ninth Amendment editors and staff as to some of the best values in top products and reliable services that we have found through personal experience.
Our unsolicited and uncompensated post of months back regarding tips on our experiences regarding two of the best ways to take advantage of often steep discounts for the same United States quality prescription drugs readers may have previously felt compelled to purchase for much more has generated a healthy and steady response of readers interested in reviewing the facts of that post, which can be found by the past posts in this log for prescription drugs discounted cheaper.
In this post we provide our entirely unsolicited and uncompensated opinion as to where much of our staff believes they have found some of the most competitive pricing combined with lifelong servicing of automobile (we are unsure as to light truck) tires. As mentioned in a recent post, the name of the tire dealer we have found to be just about everywhere in the United States is the ubiquitous simply named DISCOUNT TIRE. The reason for a consensus of Ninth Amendment editors and staff (those who drive and at least occasionally buy things new!) is that they have found that in every state they have been there has been a DISCOUNT TIRE outlet (PLEASE CHECK THIS READERS, NOT RESEARCHED!) which has been staffed by enthusiastic and helpful tire technicians to help new and old customers alike.
As best we at the Ninth Amendment can tell, the prices of tires there are very competitive, although we do not purport to have done any kind of rigorous marketing analysis or any kind of scientific-level research and reporting of the type we have only found in Consumer Reports. There, another purely editors and staff personal recommendation from us unsolicited and of course uncompensated, but by paying attention we find opportunities to subscribe to CONSUMER REPORTS digitally or in print for about (that is MORE or LESS loyal readers) $22 a year, often we believe including a yearly summary of product testing in an included paperback which we have found invaluable including for cars along with the annual car issue of the magazine.
Back to tires, we have without fail found that when we have decided to purchase (with no pressure) a tire or tires from DISCOUNT TIRE the price or a slightly increased price (?) includes as best we recall lifetime balancing, air pressure readings, air fill-ups and lost valve stem caps just by driving into the bay area of any DISCOUNT TIRE, and we believe, at one time anyway, repair of flats. However, we are not experts in this area and lately have come to believe that the more traditional "patch" to a tire is returning in many cases for a flat that is not felt to be safely repaired with a "plug". This may mean a difference in service coverage or cost. We do not know! Please ask, but not us! Of course, we will not even get going on the great Click and Clack.
Finally, a future post will also discuss the benefits we have found with more or less sticking with the same mechanic throughout the life of a car (at least if purchased used after the warranty period). There is nothing like coming to trust your mechanic, and look for the various certifications they can earn, and also knowing that if they say that someone "did a lousy job" on this, you both know exactly who it was. But in our experience that therefore does not happen. Finally, should the time come to sell your (hopefully) beloved car, your mechanic most likely will be more than happy to confirm with the potential buyer the work you really have done to maintain the car well. If you do not have the records, todays' mechanics most likely will have them in your computers.
We also understand that the owner of DISCOUNT TIRE never has the stores open on Sundays and from time to time will do something any time of the year such as pay employees a bonus for the week which doubles their pay that week. Sounds like the America we once heard about. . . .
A recap, many of us at the Ninth Amendment have been very satisfied with the prices, value, and lifetime servicing we have received for our tires at DISCOUNT TIRE. This does NOT mean there are lots of other great tire dealers out there, including your very own regular mechanic who may well partly depend on the sales of things such as tires and batteries to stay in business. We invite all comments and observations but are determined to pass on what we at the Ninth Amendment is valuable consumer information which can increase readers standard of living without requiring greater income. A laudable goal, we believe.
AGAIN, THIS POST WAS NOT SOLICITED BY ANY PERSON OR ENTITY, NOR HAVE WE RECEIVED ANY COMPENSATION FOR IT. WE DO NOT EVEN KNOW IF DISCOUNT TIRE ADVERTISES, AND IF AN AD POPS UP YOU CAN REST EASY KNOWING ANYTHING GOES INTO GOOGLE'S POCKET, NOT OURS. HEY, MAYBE WE SHOULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT....

Sarah Palin Slideshow and Were the Palestinians Responsible for the Holocaust?

Saturday, 20 August 2011, EGYPT-ISRAEL BORDER - The Ninth Amendment dutifully reminds our READERS THAT THEY PROBABLY SHOULD NOT BYPASS THE NEW YORK TIMES MEGA-MILLION DOLLAR "PAYWALL" AND READ UNLIMITED DIGITAL TIMES CONTENT SIMPLY BY SETTING THEIR FIREFOX BROWSERS TO "PRIVATE BROWSING". There we said it again, as we always have for a while except perhaps if we forget.
Meanwhile in more questionably significant "news" the Ninth Amendment editors, interns and global staff back at Ninth Amendment's bunker headquarters (which may or may not be in Phoenix under the secret fortified Bank of America or maybe American Express Building or in San Antonio under the secret fortified federal law enforcement building, or just in the back of a Papa John's Pizza) had been enjoying the 1,000 plus Sarah Palin picture slideshow on zimbio or zambio or something like that .com (over pizza just as President Obama did as he watched our forces murder Osama bin Laden from the White House "Situation Room") when it came to our attention that the Israelis are arguing with their neighbors again after murdering some more. Did readers realize that Sarah Palin is not a blonde?
Anyway, as readers may have surmised we have allowed our interns to edit today's post. They have expressed confusion as to why the British orchestrated the Palestinian vote post-WWII for possession of a country that already was home to the Palestinian people, but then the Jewish people apparently in response to the Holocaust flooded the country so they could swing the vote to take over the Palestinian's country and name it Israel because something in the Torah or some holy book said that it was their land thousands of years ago and the Holocaust especially pretty much gave them the moral right to do whatever they wanted.
Our interns asked us if the Palestinians were responsible for the Holocaust and maybe that was why their country was taken away, but as far as we know that was principally blood on the hands of the Germans in WWII. In any case, our interns are wondering if they lose their homes to foreclosure or something, would it be okay if they flocked to Manhattan, had a vote, renamed it, took it over, and kicked out all the New York City residents? Especially if they found authority for this in some old book? Would the people from New York City then be condemned to a lifetime plus an eternity wandering aimlessly around the Hackensack meadowlands and living under the New Jersey Turnpike. Just wondering. This post proudly edited by our interns, all of whom allegedly graduated or at least claim to have at sometime attended Texas A & M along with Texas Governor Rick "six-shooter" Perry.
Watch your news carefully, Perry is on the loose, and apparently his handlers have not fully reigned him in and gagged him yet. Perry-Palin in 2012. United States apocalypse in 2013.

Texas Governor Rick "Six-Shooter" Perry, "Dumb and Dumber Luck Counts, Too"

Monday, 15 August 2011, AUSTIN, The Ninth Amendment reminds forgetful readers that READERS SHOULD PAY FOR UNLIMITED READING OF THE NEW YORK TIMES DIGITAL EDITION AND NOT MERELY SET THEIR FIREFOX BROWSERS TO "PRIVATE BROWSING".
The Editors and Global Staff of the Ninth Amendment share the following comment submitted today to the New York Times Digital Edition. Publication status presently is unknown
Comment:  Texas Governor Rick "six-shooter" Perry, the man was so scared of a coyote on his morning run that he pulled a gun from the back of his running shorts and shot the coyote dead in cold blood, despite a huge phalanx of a Texas taxpayer paid security contingent that always surrounds him whether he is vacationing overseas (most of the time), taking a nap (most of the rest of the time), or when he is counting out the huge payola in his "Scarface"-style bill counter from a few super-rich out-of-state Republicans because "Perry never forgets a favor" (so long as an aide reminds Perry of it).
Later Perry had upon finding out that a coyote had never attacked a person in North America quickly quipped, "Well, he done threatened my dog." Perry is not an idiot like "little shrub" Bush, he is a moron. Perry had a Texas prisoner put to death on questionable evidence when delaying a day or two could have brought out the truth, because Perry's advisers told him that would help Perry win an election. Oh, boy, more favors!
Perry, secessionist. Perry, land deal crook (see "Horseshoe Bay" on Google). Perry, scholar (his own Texas University will not even acknowledge that Perry graduated from there). Perry, Governor of the State that puts two prisoners a day to death (always white-boy office criminals from Dallas, of course). Perry, as we have warned for over a year in the Ninth Amendment log at www.waronnothing.blogspot.com, is FOR SALE.
His only "contribution" to Texas' economy has been to allow heavy industry such latitude in polluting the State that future generations of Texans will need gas masks just to breathe the air and have to drink beer made in Newark, New Jersey, so the heavy metals, pollutants, and contaminants in the once "fine Texas water" will not kill them on contact.
Perry's first "ghosted" book, please read it if you find yourself doing twenty years to life with Dick Cheney, on how Perry was such a great boy scout. Perry's "ghosted" second book, "Fed Up" on how he hates this country and therefore disrespects all who died for it. The Ninth Amendment www.waronnothing.blogspot.com reminds readers - Perry for President in 2012, United States apocalypse in 2013. A high price to pay for a tax break and a clown in Stetson in the White House. Rick Perry, the lone brain cell Governor.

Rick Perry Please Run for President of Afghanistan

Monday, 15 August 2011, WATERLOO, IOWA, The Editors and Global Staff of the Ninth Amendment courteously remind READERS NOT TO READ UNLIMITED CONTENT OF THE NEW YORK TIMES DIGITAL EDITION FOR FREE SIMPLY BY SETTING THEIR FIREFOX BROWSERS TO "PRIVATE BROWSING".  As promised in light of our upcoming expansion to, among other things, Ninth Amendment recommendations to consumers such as our earlier post on how to save a tremendous amount on most prescription drugs we shall shortly provide readers with our unendorsed and completely uncompensated recommendation of where to buy automobile and, possibly (we have not checked) light truck tires, namely Discount Tires.
This morning's post, however, merely provides readers with notice that the Ninth Amendment's comment just submitted to the most recent digital edition of The New York Times regarding the start of the Republican 2012 Presidential nomination contest may or may not have been published, but the Ninth Amendment would like to alert readers that in the event it has been published it further examines the dismal entrance into the race of Texas Governor Rick "so I lied again" Perry.

Texas Governor Rick "Six-Shooter" Perry - FOR SALE

Sunday, 14 August 2011, LOST IN SPACE - The man who would, then would not, then would after all be King has finally made his entry into the 2012 Presidential Race official. The two necessary factors have fallen into place.
First, a hugely disproportionate group of super-rich donors, many from out of state since they enjoy things such as breathing clean air and also drinking and showering in H2O rather than in the petrochemical waste soup of the Lone Star State of Secession where they would rather just make all their money, these few Perry supporters have made the move to step in and give Perry all the payola he needs to make the "business state" into the "business country" (be sure and take a look at the Washington monuments before they are enshrouded in smog and pollution) regardless of how few voters want him.
Secondly, Perry has finally gotten up the courage to run now that he sees all other much-better qualified candidates stymied by some impediment or other, so this may be his only big chance. Remember Texas Governor Rick "six-shooter" Perry, the man who put an inmate to death when it was known the evidence was tainted simply so Perry might win an election. The man who had the sheer "prowess" to kill a coyote when surrounded by tens of security guards. The man who would secede. The only Governor to veto a bill that would have outlawed text messaging while driving.

United States Meaningless Afghanistan Helicopter Shootdown "Payback"

Thursday, 11 August 2011, WASHINGTON, The Ninth Amendment reminds readers that READERS SHOULD NOT BYPASS THE NEW YORK TIMES "PAYWALL" AND READ UNLIMITED TIMES DIGITAL CONTENT SIMPLY BY SETTING THEIR FIREFOX BROWSERS TO "PRIVATE BROWSING".
Our hearts at the Ninth Amendment go out to the brave souls who lost their lives in this latest shootdown of a helicopter by, as inartfully reiterated by the U.S. military leadership in Afghanistan, a "Taliban guy". Please, a little decorum and an attempt at some type of dignity and respect, as was earned by the leaders of U.S. wars which were Constitutionally declared and thus legitimate conflicts.
Is there anyone left who actually believes this further Bush-created horrorshow will lead to anything but lost and destroyed American, NATO members, Afghanistan and everyone else's lives who are touched by this disaster. As well as the devastating effects on an exponential number of their families and loved ones? Does the latest American General who endorses local Afghan law enforcement counterparts speaking of the enemy as "guys", President Obama, President Karzai, anyone at all who gives this unconstitutional conflict real thought in light of repeatedly painful historical perspective, have real hope?
Well, we just recently have reviewed credible reports that the CIA and Cheney have already started moving business in the next round of the waronnothing  to, among other places, Mexico, in violation of United States, Mexican, and international law. The CIA has its next job to justify its relentless disservice to this Country and bottomless "black budget box", and Cheney has his next contracting profit-machine ready to move on to South of the Border.
Is anyone expecting a better outcome for the United States than for the Soviet Union, the end of which was marked by conflict with the Taliban? Will we finally learn a lesson just in time after the series of pointless military conflicts and defeats that have characterized the United States unconstitutional activities since World War II and destroyed the lives of hundreds of thousands at home and abroad? That is not to mention the usual lot who were unfortunate enough to trust and aid the US and doubtless will be left waving good-bye to the United States and "Allies" helicopters as the Taliban emerge from the trees to kill them while our helicopters still can be seen receding into the horizon, and in no time the Taliban will have re-entrenched their nightmare.
The answer? Well it must be Texas Governor Rick "six-shooter" Perry and probable running mate Sarah "where did I leave my brain" Palin. Here to save the day for us all in the United States by taking the United States Presidency and Vice-Presidency strictly by default in 2012. The man's only solution, why, of course, secede the United States from the United States. He can do that, can he not? Just so long as he leaves that tax break for the super-rich alone! They will be able to carry around their one hundred United States dollar bills in suitcases, and they will be worth nothing.
The Ninth Amendment editors and global staff apologize for our delay in not providing a post yet recommending to readers our personal opinions unendorsed and uncompensated as to the best retail outlet in the United States to purchase automobile tires. Soon to be followed by other consumer recommendations with readers' commentary welcome as we soon expand the scope and breadth of the Ninth Amendment to encompass a variety of issues expected to include, as just a few examples amongst many,  more consumer recommendations along the lines of our earlier popular post of where to purchase your same quality prescription drugs in the United States legitimately for a fraction of the price (part of our broader theme of increasing your standard of living through educated consumerism rather than higher income).
Readers should be on the look-out as well as columns offering bad advice on secrets of maintaining and fostering bad romantic relationships, mail-order paraphernalia memorializing some of the greatest slogans of the former San Francisco New American TV Show cablecast live from the 51st State of Consciousness, and, of course, in the spirit of the late great Dr. Hunter S. Thompson,  a full return to robust American political satire, today entirely lacking in United States publications, although we have to date without success solicited Rolling Stone and Hustler to provide some space for us. Our loyal readers naturally are always welcome to demand it of these publications, one built on the unparalleled writing of Dr. Thompson, and the other owned and published by a man who is NOT afraid to assert his First Amendment rights.

London and Surrounding English Cities Up in Flames, Is the United States Next?

Tuesday, 9 August 2011, LONDON, The Ninth Amendment reminds readers of the impropriety of READERS BYPASSING THE NEW YORK TIMES "PAYWALL" AND READING UNLIMITED NEW YORK TIMES CONTENT SIMPLY BY SETTING READERS' FIREFOX BROWSERS TO "PRIVATE BROWSING".
Amidst a third night of looting, arson, and the complete overwhelming of the police state by the disenfranchised populace in London, unprecedented civil unrest spreads throughout London and to neighboring English metropolises. This London mayhem once again triggered (as in the 1980's) by the police murder of a London youth. Prime Minister Cameron makes an emergency return from "holiday" and even Members of Parliament are called back to incredibly sacrifice ONE DAY of their vacations to deal with the destruction of England's capital.
As for the United States, future home of President Rick Perry, God Help Us All, a message to the super-rich, Republicans who would even further cut social services, Wall Street, and the rest of the oblivious tiny oligarchy in the United States? "The revolution will not be televised." And it can start any time. For the real news, the exponential powers afforded the disenfranchised by new technology which is far more powerful than any thoughtless uncoordinated state control by force, and the rapidity with which the mansion on the hill can go up in flames, the Ninth Amendment here invites all readers and commentary.

Texas Governor Rick "Six-Shooter" Perry Reported Ready to Make His Move for US President

Monday, 8 August 2011, NEW YORK, NEW YORK - The Ninth Amendment reminds readers that it strongly discourages READERS FROM BYPASSING THE NEW YORK TIMES $50 MILLION PAYWALL AND READING UNLIMITED TIMES MATERIAL FOR FREE SIMPLY BY READERS SETTING THEIR FIREFOX BROWSERS TO "PRIVATE BROWSING".
As reported just moments ago in the "mainstream" press, Texas Governor Rick "Six-Shooter" Perry is finally reported to be setting his sites on the United States Presidency, having safely waited in the wings until he could have some degree of confidence that a man of his sheer ineptitude may actually have a shot at the United States Presidency when it became apparent that all other worthy candidates may have difficulties which may prove fatal to their winning the 2012 Presidential Election.
As was first reported here in the Ninth Amendment nearly a year ago, Texas Governor Rick "Six-Shooter" Perry was the Ninth Amendment's reluctant call for "stealth" candidate for President in the United States with probable co-runner Sarah "where is my brain" Palin. Mr. Perry, who celebrated his unprecedented election to fourth term as Governor of Texas typically out-of-state in New York, promoting his book "Fed Up" about his dislike for former President George "little shrub" Bush, Jr. ( under whom Perry served as Lieutenant Governor of Texas), his disdain for the United States of America, his lack of belief in the United States Constitution, and, of course just like his hated Republican predecessor George "little shrub" Bush, Jr. Perry's vowing NEVER to run for United States President.
Mr. Perry is best known for needlessly shooting and killing a coyote on his morning run, making his money off of insider "sweetheart" land deals (Google "Perry Horseshoe Bay" for more on this) living in a rented $10,000 a month mansion on Texas taxpayers' money instead of in Texas' Governor's Mansion, his repeated threats to "secede" Texas from the United States, the spending of most of his term in office vacationing overseas with his wife with a huge security detail at Texas taxpayers' expense, and his unrelenting fear of a Mexican border invasion into Texas which prompted President Obama to quip, "We've already sent thousands of federal troops to Texas to protect a border which has seen a sharp decline in illegal crossings from Mexico. What does Perry want, a moat?"
Mr. Perry most recently made a fool of himself with this past weekend's sparsely attended "Prayer Breakfast" which was attended by none of the pastors of Mr. Perry's own "home" churches in West Austin, only one of forty-nine invited other state Governors (plus a video sent from Florida's Governor). In a thinly veiled "non-partisan" rant, Governor Perry actually went so far as to offend God him/herself by passing off his garbage sermon as genuine while in fact clearly using it as merely a bankrupt and obvious opportunity to attack President Obama and others by Perry's calling upon God to "cast them from darkness".
Mr. Perry's sole prior book to "Fed Up" about his hatred for the Federal Government was Mr. Perry's previous account of his alleged great success as a boy scout. Mr. Perry apparently, with a somewhat spotty education, grasp of the English language, and fundamental misunderstanding of Christianity, apparently made his "Prayer Breakfast" comments about casting others from darkness with a lack of comprehension that it is God, not Rick "boy scout" Perry, who stands in judgment of others and decides who it is who needs casting from darkness and who does not.
Governor Rick "Six-Shooter" Perry perhaps is in the end known best of all for refusing to stay the execution of a Texas inmate whose guilt was seriously in question because of tainted evidence, with Mr. Perry's sole reason for not allowing a small additional amount of time to examine the evidence being because Mr. Perry and his humane advisers feared that to allow the man to live, even if he were being put to death wrongfully, might cause Mr. Perry some political disadvantage. Governor Rick "Six-Shooter" Perry of Texas, the only place around known to put not one but often two inmates to death on the same the day. "Praise the Lord! God Bless America! Lift Texas Governor Rick Perry from the Darkness of Ignorance and Evil!"

Ninth Amendment Submitted Comment to New York Times

As has been chronicled for the past couple years in the Ninth Amendment log ("blog" is not a word), Mr. Perry has inched toward a run for the United States Presidency tentatively only as he perceives that he may have a real opportunity given the developing poorer prospects of other candidates. Governor Rick "Six-Shooter" Perry, so called by our log since he gained notoriety for shooting a coyote in cold blood on his morning jog with his infamous "six-shooter" which Perry carries in the back of his running shorts despite being surrounded by a phalanx of  "security" personnel, first claimed he did so in self-defense. Upon learning that no person in North America had ever been attacked by a coyote, he changed his account to claim that the coyote had actually threatened his dog.
Mr. Perry represents the interests of almost no Texans, is supported almost solely by super-rich out-of-state donors who profit incredibly from his completely pro-business, anti-education, anti-environmental, anti-disenfranchised agenda. Rick "Six-Shooter" Perry is so disliked by the average Texan that his alleged alma mater, Texas A & M, has for Perry's unprecedented four terms as Governor of Texas REFUSED to acknowledge that Perry was even an alumnus of that school.
Please do read a sampling of posts about Governor Rick "Six-Shooter" Perry, who, unlike Governor Jerry Brown in California, does refuse to live in the state's Governor's Mansion because of his modesty. Perry instead insists on the taxpayers of Texas paying $10,000 a month to rent him a more personally comfortable private mansion while the official Governor's Mansion sits vacant. Meanwhile a great percentage of his time "governing" Texas is spent overseas, as in Japan, where he supposedly "promotes Texas tourism" with his wife, a huge security detail in tow, although as of yet hardly a single "tourist" from the countries where he has squandered a fortune in taxpayers' money has yet to be seen in Texas.

The Second Coming of Rick Perry And More Soon to Come Here

Monday, 8 August 2011, NEW AMERICA, The Ninth Amendment again must demonstrate its unerring moral character by reminding all that READERS SHOULD NOT BYPASS THE NEW YORK TIMES SPIFFY "CADILLAC OF PAYWALLS" IN ORDER TO READ UNLIMITED MATERIAL FROM THAT VENERABLE PUBLICATION SIMPLY BY READERS SETTING THEIR FIREFOX BROWSERS TO "PRIVATE BROWSING" AND NOT PAYING THEIR WAY.
Loyal readers, in this time of domestic and foreign news developments of near-historical proportions, the Ninth Amendment editors have summoned staff from stations and assignments globally to focus on preparing reports for digital dissemination to you in order to keep you apprised of the truth behind the real news without delay.
Please be assured that as you read this further material which is right now being prepared to provide up-to-the-minute news (NORTH-EAST-SOUTH-WEST) to be delivered directly to you on domestic matters ranging from Texas Governor Rick "Six-Shooter" Perry's cynical weekend underattended and dishonest "Prayer Breakfast" this past weekend, to apparent disarray descended upon United States and global financial markets, to the latest military developments and deeply unfortunate unnecessary loss of United States combat troops in another catastrophic Taliban reported rocket-launcher Blackhawk helicopter shootdown  with deadly consequences for some of the United States finest, to the exposure of secret United States "drug enforcement" bases manned by CIA, ex-special forces, and private forces (Dick Cheney's latest commercial endeavor?) in Mexico in violation of Mexican, United States', and international law.
Sadly President Obama once again has demonstrated his hypocrisy spinelessness in perpetuating and extending miserably failed policies of the former so-called "President" the "little shrub" Bush, Jr. in direct contravention of President Obama's campaign promises in the 2008 Presidential Election. President Obama sadly quickly runs out of time to perform the remarkable re-election turnaround of former President William Jefferson Clinton in 1996 and instead pave the way for the likes of the Perry-Palin juggernaut which almost inevitably will toll this Great Country's final hour should they be elected to national office in a time when the United States cannot withstand the inept and ignorant leadership of those who would rival the worst leaders in this Great Country's history.
In the timeless words found on the cover of Douglas Adam's classic "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy", the Ninth Amendment reminds readers that in the face of all this perceived news of an apparent overwhelming magnitude - "DON'T PANIC". On that note the Ninth Amendment assures loyal readers that shortly upcoming posts at this site will afford readers perspective, at least those who still drive (and we therefore acknowledge unfortunately exclude many enlightened Ninth Amendment followers in New York City and San Francisco and other discrete areas who do not) of the best place to buy automobile tires.
This will be another piece of valuable consumer information which is unendorsed and for which the Ninth Amendment is in no way whatsoever compensated. This reflects our planned expansion into a broader range of topics and inclusion in a more far-reaching site which also will include matters such as consumer advice on how to increase one's standard of living without increasing one's income. We expect this to be along the lines of our earlier post providing information on how to get the best cost savings on prescription drugs, and planned to be followed by many pieces here including on first steps to selecting one's Medicare Part D health insurance plan as well as initial research suggested for choosing the best doctors available in readers' selected health plans and geographical areas.
In other words, loyal readers, have hope, stay informed, and never acquiesce to the ignorance which the rich and privileged would have the American people surrender. The ultra-rich, privileged, and bought politicians do not represent most readers' interests. Simply read your United States Constitution, and understand that the Founding Fathers created and the original United States ratified this remarkable document with the Bill of Rights, including the yet to be explored Ninth Amendment, in order to protect your rights, your liberty, your equality, and your eternal guarantee of to the best government ever created on Earth to ensure your inalienable rights to, among other things, health, welfare, security, and above all  the Pursuit of Happiness.

Shortchanging Cancer Patients By EZEKIEL J. EMANUEL Published: August 6, 2011 in the NEW YORK TIMES

Sunday, 7 August 2011, NEW YORK, NEW YORK, In the August 6th 2011 edition of the New York Times an article entitled "Shortcoming Cancer Patients" appeared.  We at the Ninth Amendment do not make a habit of recommending that our readers read a particular article, however, Little L in this case would like for our followers as well as anyone else that our followers and readers would like to pass this article on to to read this article.
In yesterday's article it, and I quote, reported "Of the 34 generic cancer drugs on the market, as of this month, 14 were in short supply".  If you take the time to read this article you will learn that the shortage of these drugs are due to GREED plain and simple GREED.  And if you think Cancer drugs are the only drugs in shortage then read on and you find that this is not the case.  How can the the pharmaceutical industry  and our Government live with themselves knowing that this is taking place.  How can they lay their heads down at night and go to sleep knowing that another human-being will die because of their GREED or lack of action to stop this insanity.  For all of us who have lost a loved one to CANCER, which includes both Big M and Little L, take the time to stand on your roof-top and scream at the top of your lungs to stop the insanity; then come down and write the pharmaceutical companies, write the President, write your Congressperson and whomever else you think can make a difference.  Stop the insanity, before the insanity takes a loved one, or even YOUR LIFE. God help us all if we do not do something to stop this from continuing.  For your convenience we at the Ninth Amendment have added a link to this article below.

Pompous Standard and Poor's "Sovereign Committee" Takes the Offensive in Defense of Its Idiot Math Errors

Sunday, 7 August 2011, NEW YORK, NEW YORK, The Editors and Staff of the Ninth Amendment as always urge READERS NOT TO BYPASS THE NEW YORK TIMES "PAYWALL" AND READ UNLIMITED FREE CONTENT OF THE TIMES SIMPLY BY USING THEIR FIREFOX BROWSERS SET TO "PRIVATE BROWSING".
The following comments comprise the initial response of the Ninth Amendment to reports regarding a member or members of the Standard and Poor's "Sovereign Committee" (i.e., positions inherited through their claimed royal and/or perceived royal bloodlines the recognition of which clearly violates the text of the United States Constitution with such claims being grounds for revocation of U.S. citizenship.)
(Although they still are permitted if unwelcome in any other nation to live the rest of their natural lives on Johnston Atoll amidst the decaying barrels of radioactive waste, agent orange, napalm, and other piles of toxic drums along the diagonal airstrip for C-130s occupying the remainder of the atoll so long as they shall always carry in their shin pockets two syringes of antidotes for injection in the event of air crashes or other catastrophes enveloping the atoll in toxins.)
(Nor shall former such former U.S. citizens who ever worked on Wall Street be permitted to trespass in natural sanctuaries surrounding Johnstoll Atoll nor purchase in Hawaii or any other land of the United States or its territories of protectorates any real property whatsoever including through "timeshares" nor through whatever other tricky real estate "loopholes" which they shall purport to devise, all of which herein prospectively are deemed "fraudulent" and shall therefore entitle them only to instead spend the remainder of their natural lives in prison on Guantanamo Bay, or worldwide CIA torture prisons in foreign lands, which of course no longer exist, expenses paid by their former Wall Street Firms.)
Comment
Until these yahoos at Standard and Poor's learn elementary school Math, such as simple addition and subtraction, we must take their "sovereign" un-peer-reviewed decrees on the finances of the Greatest Nation on Earth, delivered with their holier-than-thou criticisms of the financial management of this Great Nation, with a touch of salt. Perhaps their positions at Standard & Poor's were handed down through the generations after they marginally passed their remedial math courses at schools such as Yale University with former alleged "President" and world-renowned scholar George "little shrub" Bush, Jr and other "sons of the great Alumni".
Too bad they have been given the power by the ranks of the incompetent oligarchy to give ratings which can have a very real impact on actual peoples' and countries' lives with no demonstrated ability to even perform basic math, nor at least be required first to read "Math for Dummies".) Just ask any investor who has lost their shirt following these pompous clowns "ratings" which generally are less helpful than throwing darts at a dartboard before making investment decisions.
We invite readers to see the truth "supporting" these pompous incompetents. Meanwhile perhaps the United States might consider forgetting the bribes and just pass the legislation requiring at least minimal competence in math before allowing them to promulgate their idiot math errors and then have the audacity to defend their imbecile "calculations" and actually "take the offensive" by remarkably threatening to further lower the debt rating of the United States as some kind of ridiculous attempted shield for what is obviously their sheer ignorance and incompetence. As Rodney Dangerfield so adeptly put it in "Back to School" on being attacked by the pompous economics professor from Fantasyland, "Try telling that one to the bank". All readers and comments are welcome at The Ninth Amendment. As stated in our New York Times comment today we do not discriminate in publication on the grounds of position, ability, or anything else, oh, except the truth and mastery of rudimentary English, which of course the notable exceptions of George "little shrub" Bush, Sarah "where did I lose my brain" Palin, and all-time favorite Texas Governor Rick "six-shooter" this ain't no partisan attack on the President thinly disguised as Christianity just honestly callin' on the Lord to lift him from the Darkness since it is I Governor of Texas not God who stands in judgment" Perry. Think first, talk later, if at all.
