     Tuesday, 14 April 2015, WASHINGTON, D.C. - The troubling direct hypocrisy and dishonesty of President Barack Obama and his administration crystallized yesterday with the release of an independent legal investigation of United State drone murders of untold masses of innocent men, women and children confirming large numbers of Yemeni civilians killed by drone strike kills as "collateral damage" in undeclared warfare there and many other nations as well which remains nearly completely hidden from the American people and the world.
     Doubtless continuing disclosures of U.S. drone strike kill atrocities and this country's leading role in related global arms proliferation in addition to the continuing illegal unconstitutional abuses of many Executive Branch agencies against the American people under the Obama administration in direct contravention to the compact among the people establishing the United States government enshrined in the United States Constitution could well become a much more central theme tarnishing the "legacy" which President Obama has hoped to craft than he would have wished.
     Even as President Obama has focused global attention on Iran's nuclear arms development Obama and his administration meanwhile reportedly have accelerated exportation including under direct so-called "defense" industry (armament merchants) pressure of the far greater more immediate menace of armed drone use and proliferation (intended and unintended) with "lethal operations" committed by the United States including throughout the Middle East, Pakistan (which called for the arrest of U.S. officials), Afghanistan and Africa, as well as by armed drone kill strikes by Great Britain and Israel, while directly contradicting Obama's promises to the American people and the world of a "near-certainty" standard regarding his Administration's use of drone kills publicly known to be through the Central Intelligence Agency and the United States military Joint Special Operations Command.

BREAKING: The Islamic State Terrorists Reportedly Acquire Weapons-Grade Nuclear Material Unknown Capability Or Condition

          Thursday, 10 July 2014, SAADA, YEMEN - Media organizations early this morning have released preliminary news reports that ISIS self-renamed The Islamic State may have acquired weapons-grade nuclear materials at unidentified locations in an unknown condition nor state of capability for use. Meanwhile in the notorious arms bazaar outside of this city a wide selection of major weaponry apparently remains for sale by arms dealers documented to include such weapons as RPG's with a variety of available warheads to any buyer with the funds to make purchases, as is reportedly the case at many locations outside of the United States for weapons such as RPGs. The availability of weapons at this notorious weapons bazaar at Saada extends to many other heavy weapons however even including in less public areas armaments such as shoulder-launched Stinger missiles for sale by one dealer for one million dollars (U.S.) which missiles are known to be capable of taking down airplanes such as commercial passenger airliners.
       The Ninth Amendment editorial board stresses that it has no confirmed information whatsoever as to the actual existence of any type of weapons-grade nuclear materials purchased and/or captured by what has been preliminarily reported to be The Islamic State "terrorists". Recent media reports have focused particularly on the proximity of the group's control of territory in the area of the airport northwest of Baghdad's outskirts as the airport reportedly provides the only escape route for many American critical government personnel presently remaining attached to the United States Embassy and presumably largely confined to the extremely heavily secured United States "Green Zone" in Baghdad.
       The growing presence of United States Marines to supplement existing Marine security, as well as military "advisers" to the Iraqi Army, followed by further combat troops to protect the advisers and help maintain/regain control of the airport, as well as unknown numbers of United States special forces units in and being dispatched to the area and region has been widely reported. The actual total numbers of all these United States forces is unknown and presumably classified especially given foreign combatants and/or "terrorists" in the region are widely reported to collect information from publicly available news reports.
       Reports have not focused on the possibility that even if The Islamic State does not overrun the apparently critical northwest Baghdad airport escape route of last resort for American government personnel what the status may be of the group's access to Stinger missiles which presumably may have fallen into its hands in the large areas of territory the group has overtaken and/or by purchase by the group with the well-publicized extremely ample funding of the Islamic State not only originally from certain (private) wealthy donors in countries such as Saudi Arabia but the very large amounts of funds stolen by the group by overtaking a major Iraqi government bank holding a significant percentage of the country's currency reserves. This is in addition to many large caches of weaponry including much supplied previously by the United States to the Iraqi Army but largely abandoned by fleeing Iraqi troops in their haste to escape the advancing forces of ISIL now renamed The Islamic State.
       This editorial board of the Ninth Amendment must stress that the above information on the extremely serious matter on any acquisition of nuclear materials is based solely on unconfirmed first incomplete reports and should not serve as the basis for any certainty on the part of readers of its accuracy to any degree, which is completely unknown. The lessons of the lies of the Bush Administration as to the presence previously in Iraq of "WMDs" under the control of Saddam Hussein widely now believed by a great  many Americans to have been a heinous bogus justification for the peremptory invasion of Iraq most likely motivated by former Vice President Dick "Pigheart" Cheney's insatiable monstrous greed for oil and cash for his many related commercial endeavors remain fresh in the minds of many Americans and Iraqis including those having suffered enormous personal grief and loss as a result of the pointless ensuing manufactured conflict.

Guantanamo Torturees Described In New York Times As Facing A "Dilemma". We'll Say!

     Saturday, 4 May 2013, MIAMI, FL - Surprise, surprise. An Op-Ed piece "The Detainees Dilemma" by Joe Nocera in The New York Times first published late this past Monday in telling the rather shockingly tragically sad horror story of more than ten years of one already ruled innocent young man's life stolen from him and destroyed in the name of we the American people details how the Guantanamo torturees (let's call a spade a spade) actually were provoked into their current hunger strike now said to include more than one hundred of those remaining on the wrong side of the bars in "Gitmo" (to invoke that feel-good American spirit of, say, "one more for the Gipper!").
     Seems as mentioned in the Ninth Amendment's below comment reproduced verbatim from the New York Times digital edition a couple days back that the torturees had had the audacity even after being told not to do so to cover up and even break the cameras (belonging to the American taxpayers!) watching the torturees do nothing all day when not being tortured. What could the US armed forces do but raid the torture prison, shoot the torturees with rubber bullets and throw them back into solitary confinement where they already have spent years and now to this day are back again and refusing food  and liquid with liquid in tubes therefore being forced up through their noses. In the comment below the Ninth Amendment expresses its belief that Mr. Nocera's description of the torturees current condition as being one of a "dilemma" is perhaps even an understatement not fully capturing the significance of the situation.

"The Detainees Dilemma"? Well, yes, "dilemma", we'll say! The editorial board of the Ninth Amendment Log at www.waronnothing.blogspot.com certainly cannot fault the Times on going too far out on a limb allowing the choice of THAT word in this headline. Especially considering that in the past weeks the entire editorial board of The New York Times had the moral courage to call for the CLOSURE OF GUANTANAMO BAY AND RELEASE OF DETAINEES lest they forgot, are all still asleep or thought they would just tone down the rhetoric a bit and allow a piece published that could do no better than call this continuing atrocity something so deeply insightful as a  "dilemma". As in would you rather have Asian or pizza tonight? Of more like would you rather starve yourself to death now that you have been thrown back in solitary for some entirely unknown period for daring break our cameras so the latest sickos the CIA and armed forces send out there cannot watch you do nothing all day except wonder when the next Mengelian experiment is unleashed upon you, or would you just care to stick it out?. Dilemma, right. President Obama at Guantanamo Bay and more recently allowing the establishment of thirty-five plus drone bases in Africa land of HIS ancestors where Obama himself makes the final murder calls to his "lethal surveillance teams" is a disgrace to all who believed in him. Bush was a bona fide idiot tool a quarter-notch above Texas' Idiot Gov. Rick Perry. Obama knows, excuse us, knew better.
