        Friday, 9 January 2014, WASHINGTON, D.C. - It is axiomatic that every Republican Administration for more than a generation has left the United States in or on the verge of financial ruin both as a country and as a people but for a statistically insignificant elite at the very top tenth of one per cent who have time and again cashed in on Republican corruption and lack of any moral compass whatsoever guided by the exploitation of intolerance and the wisdom worthy of conservative talk show hosts who pride themselves on their loud aggressive ignorance both disgraceful and distasteful to all persons of refined sensibility.
       Four days ago on the occasion of the opening session of a new Congress with Republicans holding the majority both in the House of Representatives and the Senate the below email flyer was circulated seeking electronic signatures on the linked petition. The petition is a show of support for President Barack Obama urging him not to contemplate folding or even bending in the face of an expected flurry of idiotic Republican and their "Tea Partiers" mean-spirited shortsighted attempts to assault and dismantle every Obama policy and any statute, law and/or other policy that protects the inalienable rights of all Americans and provides any sort of "safety net" for those who "fall through the cracks" through misfortune particularly under Republican past inevitably failed economic policies, our wounded warriors who now suffer daily as a result of Cheney-Bush illegal undeclared wars exploiting fear of terrorism since 9/11 attacks in order to destroy nations and kill millions of their peoples that had nothing to do with those attacks solely in the name of greed and avarice as well as so many others inevitably left and kept behind by a Republican administration intentionally holding tens of millions of high potential back as surely as if they were holding their heads repeatedly and relentlessly underwater in an effort to keep them living in constant desperate fear of extinction as Bush waxed in an incomprehensible incoherent dyslexicon while Dick "Pigheart" Cheney "I would torture people again in a minute" exploiting his role ceaselessly as Vice-President "serving" his country in office counted his palettes of stacked hundred dollar bills "earned" through the consistent misdeeds and criminal actions of his Blackwater Blackdeath gang of thugs, felons, escaped convicts, mercenaries and murderers who it would seems are the only company he has ever known as he consistently has spit in the eye of humanity with nothing but remorseless absolute contempt.
       Cheny-Bush in the meantime intentionally allowed the true culprits to escape so that especially Dick "Pigheart" Cheney and his and Bush criminal conspirators might completely and brazenly unlawfully exploit the oil resources of innocent nations while making a fortune while while at the same time "serving" in office ripping off the U.S. Government for the so-called "services" of agent of Lucifer Cheney's Blackwater army of Blackdeath thugs, felons, released convicts, mercenaries, and convicted murderers which were never performed or performed absolutely to inadequate standards putting at risk the lives of our women and men in uniform, as well as the Republican attack on the remaining of our Great Nation's weakest including many women, those born into an inescapable cycle of poverty, minorities suffering Republican engineered through sheer incompetence intent or lack of any concern unemployment levels nearing 50% for example young African-American men, the fragile elderly, the physically and mentally disabled, hungry children and all the remaining targets of the greedsick GOP being any person too weak to fight off their heinous economic and other assaults.
       Since that time just three days ago the Republican Party with a majority of both houses of Congress has in a matter of just the remaining days of the this week launched an attack with well-fed Republican Senators publicly pledging to eliminate food stamps, the GOP House tea partiers taking the leading steps immediately to cut Social Security benefits through dishonest and reprehensible means for the disabled and eventually all Americans, the GOP House taking immediate steps to deny the law of the land the Affordable Care health care act to all those working less than forty hours a week while the GOP Congresspersons on average work no more than twenty-eight hours a week but lavish on themselves full "Cadillac" health care benefits paid for by taxpaying Americans, and doing everything else in their non-existent GOP power (since it all is subject as necessary to Presidential veto that cannot be overcome) to wage war on the poor further while they further reward the rich including those who bought them their offices and own them such as the Koch Brothers for not paying anywhere near their fair share of taxes if any, taking huge government handouts while denying the poorest Americans even the pittance needed to survive, doling out tax cuts to those of the foregoing who least deserve and have no need for them, and of course paving the way for severe damage once again to all honest hard-working Americans from tens of millions of small business owners to tens of millions of the hard-toiling working classes by once again like every Republican Administration in memory destroying the United States economy after a Democratic Administration such as that of Barack Obama that has made phenomenol strides to restore the American economy after the carnage left by the preceding Bush Administration which left the United States economy in tatters.
       Please for those who are in agreement with the foregoing or even those who are not but are fed up with Republican greed, corruption and policy ineptitude let President Barack Obama know just how many proudly stand behind him and his incredibly successful policies which have delivered this great country from the George W. Bush brink of destruction to a remarkable recovery with not only the lack of assistance of the GOP but its avowed determination repeatedly to grind the United States Government to a standstill even in the face of disaster threatening the very existence of this Nation as we know it. American Retirees Mostly In 50's Through 70's And Others In Increasing Numbers Sell Homes And Possessions And Leave United States For Lives Of Travel Abroad With More Than 360,000 Since 2013 Now Receiving Social Security Payments In Other Countries

       Saturday, 30 August 2014, NEW YORK, NEW YORK - For readers who are retired or in any case just not tied to the United States with a physical or mental ball and chain the Ninth Amendment Editorial Board congratulates and thanks the New York Times for reminding us all that our lives remain ours alone to do with what we wish and do not belong to the military-industrial-pharmaceutical-"political consultant" corporate state relentlessly advertising unneeded garbage and unconstitutional wars which would have us all spending our lives locked up as hostages mind and body under constant threat of unlawful State surveillance on a layaway plan sofa in front of a layaway plan plasmavision receiving deceptively overpriced empty brainless programming endlessly watching CNN looping bogus horrorshows insuring our pure terror of the street right outside our door while we watch Anderson Cooper stroll around the world for lunch us left watching wide-eyed stuck deep in the grid drowning in an overwhelming excess of junk they would sell us until we are buried flailing under sheer mindless repetition which we do not want nor need but striving in our minds alone while doing absolutely nothing for the fake plastic lives we would never have buying remedies for ailments we do not even have but that can blind or kill us in an instant up until that final moment when the picture shatters from pixels to static squandering the remainder of our pathetic lives paying off debt to credit card bank and payday loan usurers for E-Z credit to pay off other E-Z credit or buy more useless junk long ago lost or forgotten rotting in a landfill and have us above all lusting for plastic cars which depreciate faster than the blink of an eye like dropping from a cliff to elevator music and for mortgages which we could not afford while constantly bombarded by the noise of hawkers and screamers and of course the biggest crooks of any in the world just Google "Bank of America" and "crime" to see who steals ten billion dollars in a heartbeat over and over and over again.
       Whoa now in the words of Hunter S. Thompson "Did we say that?. . . Well we must have meant it." For interested readers the link below is to a New York Times article in which one who is so inclined can read of over 360,000 Americans who receive their Social Security overseas, who in many cases have sold their houses and all their possessions in the United States, who spend less and live better than they ever did in the U.S., who owe nothing to anyone, who live on $150 a month, and have found ways all as detailed with links in the Times article to find transportation and places to stay for nothing or next-to-nothing as they have traveled from state-to-state and country-to-country so extensively it is beyond what they ever believed they could back when they were locked in the grid lives they thought were controlled by government and media inspired fear and terror relentlessly pounded into their brains with of course always the backdrop of invaluable advice of the U.S. State Department where not to travel (in 1963) which as we recall from our travels abroad on a few continents was infamous among travelers for its largely worthless notoriously outdated warnings of where to avoid and its uncanny ability completely to miss the spots where one most easily could be killed.
