New York Times reports experts predict coming privacy regulations impact on Google and Facebook

Tuesday, 22 November 2017, LONDON / Updates 14 October 2017, SILICON VALLEY / SAN ANTONIO / 3 October 2017, WASHINGTON, D.C. - Alphabet Inc.'s Google long has collaborated including in publicly but not limited to joint venture(s) with the CIA "private" company In-Q-Tel as well as providing the CIA (like other "Intelligence Community" entities) through "interfaces" all Google user traffic and content (as do other social media platforms) without the State having to go through the tedious formalities of actually requesting it.
This is roughly similar to the State avoiding Fourth Amendment search and seizure constraints by having a private entity such as, say, Federal Express, "accidentally" rip open suspect packages for contraband and then hand it over to the DEA (whose acting Administrator incidentally just resigned in protest against President Trump including Trump's encouragement of police brutality coupled with AG Sessions vigorous idiotic universally opposed attempts at regression to the long-proven catastrophic "War On Drugs") thus efficiently streamlining the process of conducting searches and seizures without being inconvenienced by the encumbrances of the United States Constitution. Such matters in fact may be of particular interest to some engaged in U.S. cocaine trafficking as relevant authorities just have notified the public that at least some U.S. postal service employees no longer will be available to accept bribes for safe passage of cocaine shipments through the U.S. Postal Service.
In any case in the strictly lay opinion of the Ninth Amendment the CIA's in-house and Department of Justice attorneys including former Cheney favorite evil Neil "Golly Gitmo" Gorsuch surprisingly were not at least disbarred and forever banned from federal service for advising the CIA that torture was not torture under U.S. and international law as well as treaties and conventions exposing the Bush/Cheney administration including its CIA officials and others to this day to lifelong prosecution for war crimes and crimes against humanity should they venture into the wrong countries.
Said DOJ attorneys now seemingly having given up enforcing U.S. civil rights, antitrust and other cumbersome laws unlike the European Union here under the leadership of Return to the Dark Ages champion Republican Senate hero security clearance liar serial perjurer racist "disgrace" Attorney General Jefferson Beauregard "Jefe" Sessions III in his single-minded fevered and demented quest encouraging police brutality in bringing back like zombies thought dead long-proven failures such as the "War On Drugs" with interminable incarceration to benefit his own and his pals private prison investments and the dismal failure "D.A.R.E."
D.A.R.E. is a most telling example having years ago been shown actually to have increased drug use in the young. Sessions has joined our Russisa-elected president in encouraging a militarized police state assault on the U.S. population which Sessions persists in claiming is endangered by an imaginary increasing violent crime rate while actually violent crime has been plummeting for decades should not be relied upon by the State for legal advice as it remains the Ninth Amendment's lay opinion that any CIA domestic U.S. activity is unauthorized and unlawful on its face while conversely Alphabet, Inc. Google has so effectively entangled itself with State actors that it is only fair that acting like one that it be treated like one and subject to the same constitutional constraints.
Those wishing to pursue remedies against Google for unlawful activities such as illegal searches and seizures, censorship, any other civil rights violations as well as for monopolistic market practices, censorship, invasion of privacy and so on might wish to consult with the ACLU or the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) or other such entities should those organizations be in agreement with the above or other pertinent theories or through private counsel where laws which go unenforced by the State still may have private party enforcement provisions such as for antitrust, invasion of privacy, gang stalking, racketeering and so on.
However, as an example of Google's pervasive efforts to influence and/or co-opt those most involved with significant public policy issues affecting Google a New York Times op-ed piece linked to below reveals that Google actually now has become a significant funder and thus potential co-opter of EFF an organization one normally would expect to most vigorously represent the public interest in matters involving Google's market dominance and other matters concerning especially the internet. Vigilance in protecting consumer interests and online rights is most important including because now the Republican Trump administration has taken majority control of the FCC five person board so significant in making decisions regarding profound internet issues affecting the public such as preserving equal internet access in all regards including under the doctrine of "net neutrality" which had been protected under the Obama administration FCC with the finding that internet access could be regulated as a "public good". The new Trump GOP FCC Chair Ajit Pai's appropriately misnomered "Restoring Internet Freedom" proposal to reverse Obama-era net neutrality received an overwhelming 22+ million comments by the Wednesday 30 August 2017 close of the comment period.
Interested readers below will find some sources that may be in agreement that Alphabet Inc. Google's time has come to face the consequences of its global corrupt monopolistic malfeasance not the least of which being that it should be broken up mercilessly this once arguably long ago beneficent company rumored born of good intentions at MIT to develop a better search engine with site rankings based on legitimate links to Alphabet Inc. Google today being the harbinger of an Orwellian dystopia whose founding motto "Don't Be Evil" has metastasized into the embracing of Lord Acton's admonition morphing "Power Corrupts, Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely" into its creed and guiding light, or rather darkness.
The European Union (EU) has been much more aggressive than the U.S. in pursuing American-born technology companies' privacy and other violations one most recent major action being the assessment of a record $2.7 billion antitrust fine against Google reported in the CNBC link below.
As most (especially Russians apparently) agree nothing is free including from Google or any social media site which in return for what they provide they each time in turn take and keep one's every word, phrase, sentence, and/or paragraph, one's every thought of the moment now even absolutely unethically also undertaking without notice or knowing permission scientific experimentation on users' emotions and so on much like Zuckerboy with Facebook or, surprise, the CIA had with MK-ULTRA (ahem, attempted) mind control or of course the OSS/CIA good old pal Josef Mengele unmentionable psychotically sadistic "experimentation" (he's our boy, just fly him to South America).
Therefore if convinced Google is not altogether beneficent why not take a moment each time one does a search or whatever to just also entirely randomly quickly search several other bizarre words or inane terms in which one has absolutely no interest at all. As the acting head of DARPA testified before its oversight Senate subcommittee as to artificial intelligence one major challenge DARPA had identified was "garbage in, garbage out" which meant DARPA had to be quite careful as to what input the A.I. was exposed as the wrong input could result in some very unpredictable consequences of significant concern.
YouTube effective censorship of "controversial" material "not in violation of our policies" has arrived heralded within an apparent non-controversial "Fight Terror" posting . Official YouTube Blog August 1, 2017 post reports YouTube in past month used "machine learning" (primitive A.I. precursor) for 75% of removals of "terror content" videos with no human flagging. However YouTube uses the same post to slip into announcing it now also is taking steps to effectively censor video content by isolating it as "limited" separated by an interstitial, not recommending it, not recording likes, not allowing comments and ending monetizing of creator content of "controversial" material admittedly "not in violation of our policies" but presumably to kill off content unwanted or inconvenient to Google by means still evolving but given the entirety of the body of the post to include just by "machine learning" rather than just human censors either of which in any case is absolutely objectionable effective censorship of free speech on a grossly monopolistic platform.
Alphabet, Inc. Google more recently has been suspected of practicing further unlawful monopoly censorship violating free speech and association rights without limitation by changing and/or eliminating delivery to users of search results yielding links to more fringe, alternative and/or progressive content in its "Project Owl" claimed fight against "Fake News" also used as a pretext for admittedly censoring "offensive (to Google)" content as set out for interested readers in the uppermost New York Times 26 September 2017 "Search Bias Claims" article linked to below.

"Exclusive: The Secret History Of The Russian Consulate In San Francisco" Trump Veto-Proof Forced To Sign Tough Russia-Iran-North Korea Sanctions

UPDATED to 9 January 2018

Saturday, 24 June 2017, WASHINGTON, D.C. - UPDATED - The Washington Post has published a bombshell epic exclusive report based on dozens of independent sources detailing behind-the-scenes most highly classified Russia 2016 U.S. election interference information which extends all the way up to CIA Russian government "crown jewels" evidencing top-level Kremlin penetration from sources and methods reaching as far as capturing proven liar Vladimir Putin's topmost closely guarded innermost sanctum secrets including Putin's own words specifically ordering actions intended to undermine Hillary Clinton while boosting Donald Trump to the U.S. Presidency which report underscores the potential degree of danger of the unprecedented complex foreign and domestic stakes at play confronting former President Barack Obama in the months leading up to the 2016 U.S. election. Interested readers can go to the Washington Post exclusive report at the first link below.
Meanwhile a tougher Russian attached to an Iran sanctions bill passed the Senate 98-2 on 15 June 2017 codifying existing and new sanctions requiring Congressional approval for Trump to ease any Russia existing or new sanctions. It since was blocked for a month by House Republicans per GOP ("Government of Putin") Trump orders to lapdog GOP House Speaker Paul Ryan. "Lyin' Ryan" true to form all the while since insisted the "remains hawkish" even as he consistently has done White House pro-Russia bidding. Ryan obediently exploited an endless fabricated confusion of bogus "procedural" and "policy" even "constitutional" grounds for delay neatly blaming Democrats for stalling House action on languishing tougher Russia sanctions that benefit murderous aggressor Putin and pals daily with more notice to more deeply stash in the West for hundreds of billions of dollars stolen from the Russian people. Finally House Democrats attempted themselves to introduce the bill identical to the now impatient Senate's sanctions bill. "Lyin' Ryan" having to move the bill through House approval now adding further sanctions on Russia as well as Iran and North Korea making hollow political cover attempt number three.
After reconciliation a 419-3 House vote and 98-2 Senate vote the bill advanced to the White House seemingly cornered Trump into his unwilling signing of it into law this only otherwise politically untenable exercise of a veto of this new sanctions bill including as to Russia as removing his unilateral ability to dilute or end any Russian sanctions without up to 30-day congressional review. Nevertheless the Trump White House while ....... engaged in open warfare with itself on multiple fronts accomplished nothing helpful to the Nation as usual still generating endless confounding diversions upon diversions with every last nearly unimaginable excuse all obviously more lies to excuse not signing the bill later tacitly forced to admit their obvious falsity by after several days delay finally signing the bill into law.
A Trump veto of the tougher Russia sanctions bill otherwise expected to be over-ridden by a fed up and untrusting Congress strongly suggested by the overwhelming votes Congress was not distracted by bogus threats nor whatever or wherever lying Trump inane demonstrably false garbled excuses with background tweetstorm on more of his endless carnival barker's stock of conjured nonsensical grievances endlessly gnawing at the edges of his mind or what still might remain of it. Interested readers can go for more information on the Republican sanctions fiasco to the second and third links below. For interested readers the tougher Russia sanctions delayed a month by Trump but finally having been advanced by a rare overwhelming bi-partisan Congress also now including both North Korea and Iran sanctions in a veto-proof Russia tougher sanctions bill Trump grudgingly was forced to sign into law all addressed in the fourth through sixth links below.
UPDATE 9 January 2018 The Russian San Francisco consulate atop Pacific Heights known by U.S. intelligence officials to be deeply engaged in far more technical espionage than any other Russian consulate in the U.S. and possibly even the Russian Washington, D.C. Embassy spying on in addition to the Bay Area including Silicon Valley, Stanford, UC Berkeley, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories, trans-Pacific seabed cable crossings, mapping underground civilian and military communications infrastructure, engaging in GPS pinpointing, communicating with Russia treaty overflights to avoid U.S. signals decryption, tracking the Pacific Fleet of U.S. nuclear submarines out of Washington state and many other assumed and suspected espionage activities also was believed to be the Russian intelligence hub for the western United States and possibly even the western hemisphere.
The Russian San Francisco consulate was ordered closed in response to Vladimir Putin's order that the U.S. cut Moscow U.S. Embassy staff by more than 700 although this was believed to be more for show rather than actual Putin-Trump animosity as Putin knew almost all staff dismissed would be Russians employed by the U.S. Embassy many of whom U.S. intelligence agencies had long wanted trimmed as they long were known to spy and report on U.S. Embassy activities. In any case the Russian San Francisco consulate was given two days to close down in response by President Trump on the recommendation of Secretary of Defense Mattis and Secretary of State Tillerson. GCHQ Amnesty International Spying Outrage As British Investigatory Powers Tribunal Court Admits Prior GCHQ Spooks "No Spying" Determination A Lie

Friday, 3 July 2015, LONDON - Amnesty International the globally recognized human rights organization has called for an independent inquiry after the "outrageous" revelation on Thursday that Amnesty International was lied to by the Investigatory Powers Tribunal (IPT) monkey court in a ruling last month that the already wildly out-of-control British Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) mass surveillance conducted (lin conjunction with and/or sharing data with the N.S.A.) seemingly no longer with any apparent relationship to any legitimate national security concerns whatsoever but without any meaningful consideration invading the most intimate privacy without limitation of any foreign or domestic friend or foe maybe even itself and having extended GCHQ spying in addition to other lesser known human rights groups also now admitted further to include spying on Amnesty International despite previous denials including an impossibly improbable claimed "determination error" even by those ostensibly "overseeing" the GCHQ  spy agency.
The GCHQ was described by whistleblower Edward Snowden in the movie "CitizenFour" as even more invasive than the N.S.A. which presumably would be out of all proportion to its unbridled violation of civil rights which it only could marginalize by capitalizing on people's fear of terrorism disrupting the measured governance of a free society. (Incidentally the exact aim of "terrorists".) IPT President Sir Michael Burton said the IPT "wished to apolgise for and correct an error in its Determination of 22 June 2015" in which the GCHQ oversight Monkey Court incredibly after 18 months of litigation apparently was unable to determine that the GCHQ was spying on Amnesty International although the IPT did figure out (wrongly) that the GCHQ was not following proper internal procedures in spying on another human rights Egyptian organization which the GCHQ in fact never had been spying on at all.
To add insult to injury the Amnesty International secretary general Shalil Shetty in a statement of outrage which interested readers can read in some length by going to the first BBC link below emphasized that, "If they hadn't stored our communications for longer than they were allowed to, we would never even have known. What's worse, this would have been considered perfectly lawful."
Mr. Shetty's outrage further was ignited by the fact that the UK (and likely partner N.S.A.) government mass surveillance jeopardized the very work of Amnesty International and other human rights groups by compromising their "confidential communications" with "human rights defenders and victims of abuse" which they now could "credibly believe" after these revelations of GCHQ spying "was likely to end up in the hands of governments" presumbly interfering with and/or negating critical humanitarian efforts of Amnesty International. Mr. Shetty's full reported statement of outrage linked to below as mentioned above concluded that "[t]he revelation that the UK government has been spying on Amnesty International highlights the gross inadequacies of the UK's surveillance legislation."
It would seem so given that extraordinarily invasive powers apparently bestowed by the UK government on the outrageous spying activities of the GCHQ likely conspiring with its twin partner in crime the unconstitutional illegally operating N.S,A, for purposes intended to be focused on fighting terrorism instead being diverted instead or also to human rights organizations unbelievably including Amnesty International long recognized as one of the if not the most important and effective private organization working to protect human rights worldwide.
As if to highlight the ignorance of the UK government regarding the misdirected uncontrolled mass surveillance predator it is allowing the GCHQ to become and the UK government's apparent ignorance of the either total intentional ineptitude and/or criminally willful ignorance of the IPT Monkey Court which apparently serves some essentially non-existent oversight role serving only to prolong the gross abuses of the GCHQ the UK government at the time of the original untruthful "Determination" of the IPT Monkey Court exalted it as the "IPTs confirmation that the interception by GCHQ in these cases was undertaken lawfully and proportionately."
The horrendous cost in resources that are desperately needed for actual national security and the protection of human rights of this eighteen month matter are astounding considering that it would seem apparent to any rational person that the action originally brought in this matter by the American Civil Liberties Union on behalf of Amnesty International if truthfully addressed with integrity could have been avoided altogether or resolved with the pertinent simple questions swiftly answered with a few communications among the responsible parties. However readers apparently must keep in mind the necessity of absolute secrecy in the "decision-making" of the IPT Monkey Court which apparently can span lengthy periods of time gathering the "facts" especially when for example as in this case there were two. In fact the IPT seems much like it may be the impaired cousin of the "FISA" Monkey Courts in the U.S. which is saying very little indeed.
Those readers interested in an earlier most significant IPT Monkey Court decision predicate to the present one originally made in error can go to the second BBC link below to the "Determination" reported 5 December 2014 that the GCHQ's "Tempora" huge mass surveillance program unsurprisingly did not violate human rights reportedly encouraging the GCHQ as a glorious "emphatic victory". Alas with no degree of contortion can the present "Determination" be characterized no matter how small the Amnesty International victory may be for the moment although urged by its resounding cries of outrage clearly much needed revisions to surveillance litigation by the UK government and serious enforceable overhaul to the GCHQ's oversight are put in place to reign in an agency and program apparently badly off course.

FISA Secret Monkey "Court" Rubber Stamps Illegal NSA Resumption Under So-Called "Patriot Act" Of Bulk Phone Data Collection In Superficial Mock Ruling Rejects The Federal Court Of Appeals For The Second Circuit Decision That Trash "Patriot Act" Never Authorized Illegal NSA Spying On Americans

Wednesday, 1 July 2015, WASHINGTON- The federal government announced Tuesday that it disgracefully had gone to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) secret monkey rubber stamp court which is authorized only to rule on matters of national security which cannot be made public in order that the Obama administration illegally could get around the lengthy well-reasoned decision of the Federal Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit finding NSA mass phone data collection has been illegal since its inception in 2001 as the so-called "Patriot Act" granted the NSA no such authority to engage in its spying activities on Americans.
Nevertheless although no such national security situation requiring secrecy existed at present the federal government went to the FISA secret monkey rubber stamp "court" before the FISA monkey judge retreated into hiding so as first to get a predetermined ruling worthy of an morally intellectually bankrupt idiot obediently issued by FISA monkey Judge Michael W. Mosman that the so-called "Patriot Act" allows the State to resume illegal surveillance of Americans by bulk phone record collection for the next six months until the so-called "Freedom Act" initiates a new procedure whereby Americans' phone records will be kept by their phone carriers so the federal government will have to go first to the same FISA court which in its history has never denied nearly any secret unopposed request for anything from the federal government in order first to get monkey rubber stamped warrants to get Americans' phone records.
The Obama administration's shameless Department of Justice (DOJ) expressed through spokesman Wyn Hornbuckle who actually did not speak but wrote of DOJ's obvious "agreement" with the federal government's blatantly illegal unconstitutional use of the FISA monkey Judge Michael W. Mosman rubber stamp court to get the decision it implicitly directed the FISA monkey rubber stamp court judge to give so that the NSA now can resume its illegal unconstitutional mass collection of Americans' phone records without regard or respect for the authority of the actual constitutional true regular real federal judicial system. To those troubled by the Obama administration's obviously unconstitutional use of the FISA monkey rubber stamp court it has been suggested that they as necessary heretofore just change one letter in its acronym and think of it as the Domestic Intelligence Surveillance Court (DISA) to encompass such uncontested secret rulings such as the present rancid stinking monkey court rubber stamp decision unconstitutionally purporting to legitimize mass domestic illegal unconstitutional surveillance by the NSA.
This matter represents a dangerous expansion of the illegitimate "power" of the unconstitutional now not-so-secret FISA monkey rubber stamp court in a most grievous despicable precedent that is a foul and rank travesty of justice since the matter obviously should constitutionally have been left with the actual real federal courts as everybody already knows what the monkey court hijacked case is about. Other secret FISA monkey court rubber stamp judges (using the term "judges" very loosely) who have weighed in on various aspects of this matter obediently following their orders on how to rule have invariably sided with the unconstitutional and illegal positions for which the Obama administration has sought unlawful validation include secret FISA rubber stamp court monkey Judge F. Dennis Saylor IV as well as extra monkey Judge Rosemary M. Collyer by secret monkey rubber stamp court special invitation who otherwise serves as a United States Federal District Court real judge in a regular real federal court where she presumably is allowed to make her own decisions in public with opposing parties present consistent with the provisions of the United States Constitution which actually really did create that court making its decisions legally enforceable unlike those of the FISA monkey judge rubber stamp court to which the People never granted any power at all rendering all of its monkey rubber stamp decisions unconstitutional and therefore illegally enforced against the People without any lawful authority.

UPDATED: N.S.A. "Treason" German Chancellor Merkel Accused For N.S.A. Command Of Rogue B.N.D. Spying Since 2008 On Germans Other Europeans

Thursday, 7 May 2015, BERLIN - German Chancellor Angela Merkel has been charged with "treason" by at least one politician heading the German Left party after Der Speigel reported recently that since at least 2008 a "rogue" division of the B.N.D. German foreign intelligence service working for the N.S.A. has engaged in spying including on friendly German and European "interests" believed to include individuals and businesses perhaps most notably the French-German enterprise European Aeronautic Defense and Space, now known as the Airbus Group about which the B.N.D. "failed to fully inform the Chancellery or Parliament" but apparently did inform Ms. Merkel's government to the extent German Chancellor Merkel "failed in her constitutional duty to supervise the intelligence services and inform Parliament of the services' activities".
Although not raised as an issue as with United States executive branch "intelligence" services which often on their face lack legal jurisdiction over and authority to engage in any domestic spying and related unconstitutional activities given that the B.N.D. is identified as a "foreign" intelligence service it would appear to have overstepped its ostensible authority by committing domestic spying on German "individuals and businesses" at home. Germans moreover are particularly sensitive to "intelligence" service domestic surveillance given "their memory of the Nazi and Communist regimes that spied on their citizens" (as the New York Times puts it rather blithely omitting Germans' doubtless intense memory also of what outrages, horrors and atrocities those regimes inflicted upon German citizens as a result of their spying on the German people).
Moreover unlike in the United States where the N.S.A. is warmly embraced by all (at least by all at the N.S.A. and apparently in France) for its indiscriminate domestic and foreign mass surveillance, sweeping metadata collection activities (based on which metadata alone former N.S.A. Director Hayden stated "we kill people") and other N.S.A. other revealed and doubtless unrevealed myriad other unconstitutional abuses nevertheless overseas in Germany "anti-N.S.A. sentiment remains high" including German "revulsion" with the N.S.A. in the wake particularly of the revelations of Edward J. Snowden (a "popular hero" in Germany) of the scope of the N.S.A.'s criminal indiscriminate domestic and foreign surveillance.
German Chancellor Merkel herself when running for re-election which she won for a third term in 2013 loudly cast herself as "the wronged American ally whose cellphone number was among data sucked up by American intelligence as it kept watch on Europeans" proclaiming that "[s]pying among friends -- that is simply not done". In fact such spying among friends "simply was done" right at that time by her own government B.N.D. intelligence service moreover under the control of the N.S.A. apparently since at least 2008. In any case Ms. Merkel managed to capitalize on her own cellphone privacy invasion exploiting German "outrage" over Snowden revelations but managed to "tamp down" what has become known among Germans as the growing "N.S.A. scandal". The truth of the recent allegations would tend to suggest that Chancellor Merkel is a dishonest hypocrite
Even as opposition Left party leader Gregor Gysi called Chancellor Merkel's actions "treason" that accusation on Monday unsurprisingly was "angrily rebutted" by B.N.D. spy agency chief Gerhard Schindler (compare former Ninth Amendment post with photo of N.S.A. chief Admiral Michael "Mike" Rogers also "angrily rebutting" an unwelcome suggestion) dismissing with the Cheneyesque response that it was "absolutely absurd" to suggest his agency was "a compliant tool" of the N.S.A. However Schindler apparently still is experiencing technological communication challenges with Chancellor Merkel who on the same day reportedly at the same time stated that in order to best "protect the lives and bodies of 80 million Germans" cooperation with the National Security Agency came "first and foremost".
Previous to last Monday after the 23 April 2015 Der Speigel reports government spokesman Steffen Seibert attributed the reportedly at least seven year lapse in Chancellor Merkel's government oversight and Chancellery and Parliamentary reporting of the actions of the rogue G.N.D. spy division working for the N.S.A. to "'[t]echnological and organizational deficiencies at the B.N.D." which seemingly in response to the recent Der Speigel reports now had been quickly identified as Mr. Seibert gave assurance the Merkel government had issued "immediate orders that they be rectified". Based on B.N.D. chief Schindler's and Chancellor Merkel's contemporaneous statements arguably implying significantly inconsistent degrees of the scope of the N.S.A. role in controlling German intelligence it would appear the B.N.D. had not as of Monday yet rectified at least technological deficiencies as to communication with the Chancellery in response to its "immediate orders".
In any case the standing parliamentary committee with oversight responsibility for all  German intelligence services as well as a special parliamentary inquiry specifically into the N.S.A. have been conducting ongoing investigations into the details of the matter and questioning "key officials" including former U.S. intelligence officials which unsurprisingly is revealing a "damning picture of American surveillance practices". Although the specifics of German intelligence collusion with the N.S.A. remain "murky" given the innate unreliability of intelligence officials in providing comprehensible information to the public the German federal prosecutor is considering launching a formal investigation.
The the substance of the recent allegations of N.S.A. control over the B.N.D. is consistent with a complaint filed by Austria on Tuesday against German and American intelligence agencies grounded on suspicions that the agencies have been spying on Austria according to Reuters. Moreover also last week the French-German enterprise Airbus Group filed a legal complaint leveling charges against "unnamed persons" of economic espionage including requests for more information from the German government. A related "indication that espionage might have occurred" is that "[m]embers of the German Parliament have suggested that Washington may influence how much the German government can reveal to Airbus" the New York Times reports.
The Ninth Amendment editorial board would suggest that put more bluntly this is to say that the German government cannot disclose B.N.D. intelligence information regarding even economic and/or industrial espionage conducted who knows for what reason concerning an offended German party even of a joint venture German company unless it has permission from its N.S.A. handlers. It is hard to imagine how the B.N.D. could become more of a "complaint tool" of the N.S.A. than that. Furthermore the Airbus complaint highlights the issue of the N.S.A.-B.N.D. reportedly not only spying on individuals but on businesses including very large ones which raises the question of when and why the N.S.A. has "diversified" into business including major industrial espionage in friendly countries and if so given the technology has the N.S.A. been corrupted to the point that it has determined that legal interpretations of its authority can always be contorted to conform to an N.S.A. perception that given the cash its mission and mandate to "suck up" information is infinite?
Finally as to this matter it appears significant that Germany's No. 2 in power after Chancellor Merkel who is German Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel and the leader of the center-left Social Democrats disclosed to reporters that Merkel told him there was "nothing" to the allegations and furthermore said that he believed Merkel. However he reportedly followed this immediately by a statement that "what we are witnessing now is an affair, a secret service scandal, which could set off a very grave tremor." A rather ominous sounding warning compared to what preceded it especially coming from the German Vice-Chancellor, Germans particularly high officials generally not being known for lightly tossing off references to such events as "grave tremors".

N.S.A. Spy Chief No "Back Door" Man Proposes Split "Front Door Key" So No Single Spy Nor Agency Could Decrypt Smartphone Nor Other Devices Data

Saturday, 11 April 2015, WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Director of the National Security Agency (N.S.A.) Admiral "Back Door" Michael "Mike" Rogers (pictured in a recent Ninth Amendment post in a "cordial" disagreement with a reporter) has in the Washington Post article linked to below in its accompanying photo taken on a much friendlier even intellectual look with reading glasses no less a la Indicted Idiot Texas Ex-Governor Rick "Payback" Perry while reportedly one-upping the Lone Star state's brain dead still standing 2012 Presidential hopeful who just keeps coming back for more like an irrepressible zombie as N.S.A. Director Rogers used the longtime Central Intelligence Agency (C.I.A.) spy leadership factory (particularly at its Woodrow Wilson School) Princeton University as the location for Rogers' recent announcement of his revolutionary new pitch that he in fact is not a "back door" man but instead just wants a piece of a "front door key" to decrypt data on consumer such as Apple smartphones and other devices which will be "split" so no one agency (say for example the rogue N.S.A.) nor snoop (say for example some rogue N.S.A. director, employee and/or contractor) would be able to use just their part of the key alone for decryption purposes but first would have to gather the other key piece(s).
Given the rank and foul extensively documented many unconstitutional abuses of the N.S.A. largely initially revealed in part by Edward J. Snowden as well as given that the N.S.A. still conducts essentially unchecked criminal domestic and worldwide mass surveillance not to mention as well admitting that "[w]e kill people based on metadata" according to former N.S.A. Director Michael Hayden (per a previous Ninth Amendment post) including without limitation U.S. citizens the Ninth Amendment editorial board beyond wondering why the maniacal Kafkaesque N.S.A. invader of citizens' most sacrosanct areas and Orwellian record-keeper violating all realms of Americans' privacy (with allegedly virtually nothing to show for all its enormously expensive in every sense of the word abuses but the arrest of a California cab driver who allegedly wished to or maybe did donate $8,500 to a terrorist organization) in violation of all principles of fundamental rights not to mention common human decency should even be allowed to continue to exist much less have even part of a "front door" key to any citizen's encrypted data or home or business for that matter the Ninth Amendment does feel compelled to add it would not even feel comfortable trusting the N.S.A. nor its Director Admiral Michael "Mike" Rogers with even half a key to a public restroom.
Reportedly as to encryption keys the jury is still out at the Obama White House still searching for a less invasive national security solution and The Ninth Amendment without editorial comment refers interested readers to the below link for considerably more information about the N.S.A. decryption proposal to come just a "piece" of the way into the "front door" as well as the history of the U.S. government versus industry debate on the subject including the strengths and vulnerabilities of current smartphone and other device encryption as well as several links therein to related articles on this and other national security trending topics.

FBI Director James Comey Must Be Booted Out As He Announces Intention To Keep Federal Spying On All Americans Derailing Google And Apple Cellphone And Future Device Encryption Developments "Locking" Personal Information By Default So Once Again Exposing U.S. Tech Users To Domestic And Foreign Spying, Criminals, Hackers, And Other Bad Actors Making Americans' "Secure" Information An Impossibility - He Is A "Back Door Man"

Friday, 17 October 2014, WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Ninth Amendment urges all readers concerned about one of today's very top fundamental core Constitutional priorities of reinstating real personal privacy, security in their personal effects and affairs and essential liberty in the "tech age" especially in light of ongoing Snowden revelations of the still untold full depth of the uncontrolled wholesale illegal NSA and other U.S. "national security" agencies' unconstitutional domestic spying on all Americans with no regard either for innocence nor fundamental freedoms from universal lawless criminal government spying that all such concerned readers please consider setting aside the time to read very carefully and pass on as they may deem appropriate the below linked to critical New York Times article reporting in depth on a "policy discussion" given to the Brookings Institution by FBI Director James Comey.
His documented statements revealed him to be a very dangerous man to our great Nation's future who President Obama (formerly having stated he does not agree with his views) in the opinion of the Ninth Amendment Editorial Board should remove from office as soon as possible before he can (further) execute on the positions he has taken against tech company efforts to give all Americans the ability to take into their own hands the essential liberty, security in their personal effects and affairs, and real personal privacy which is fundamental to our system of government which demonstrably has failed us in the State's absolutely unapologetic complete lack of respect for the very foundational rights of Americans informing the very basis of that compact known as the United States Constitution from which any State power legitimately must derive from the People or otherwise cease to exist.
The immediate flash point of FBI Director James Comey's most revealing disturbing disclosures of his (but not necessarily the full Administration's) dangerous intentions is the immediate fact of the emergence of Google and Apple cellphones that automatically encrypt or "lock" stored user information not in transmission such that it is accessible to no one but the user including not the maker of the device, U.S. domestic and foreign government spies, hackers, thieves nor all manner of bad actors which is the subject of a federal lawsuit discussed in two previous posts here which the FBI and other US domestic spying agencies lost brought by companies such as tech giants Google and Apple supported by Facebook (and later another related case filed by Twitter) seeking to prevent restraint of their development and sale of these phones and other devices and by extension to prevent further attempted restraint of new such consumer devices and other technical privacy developments which legal decision the FBI and other federal spying agencies currently plan to appeal despite President Obama's Advisory Committee having advised an apparently earlier agreeable President Obama that such codified restrictions should neither be attempted nor implemented and probably would not be supported by Congress either.
In other words FBI Director James Comey must go because rather than having learned a single redeeming lesson from Snowden's disclosures and their devastating effect on the remaining trust of the American people revealing the vast horrifying deeply criminal culture of federal "national security" domestic spying agencies' contempt for the U.S. Constitution which appears the dominant culture of the State is wholly repugnant to those lovers of liberty and privacy as being fundamental and non-negotiable to a civilized people such as demonstrated for example by the good solid people of New Hampshire who emphasize they would rather "Live Free Or Die" that what FBI Director James Comey instead completely contrary to that lesson has revealed is that what he intends to do is take such utterly contemptible illegal federal State behavior and make it the unabashed law and official policy of this land of the free and home of the brave.
FBI Director James Comey now fully exposing himself at the vanguard of such deeply misguided thinking and misdirected intention with the will and ability to execute such that he would in fact if anything inadvertently perhaps but nevertheless all the same further destroy the foundations of this Country he would seek to protect therefore has shown himself to be a new United States enemy even with the best intentions for but the worst effect on the liberty and privacy of the American people. Those who would read the article linked to below will see that FBI Director James Comey would brush off such gravely weighty considerations as he must with a few shallow platitudinous unsubstantiated fictional anecdotal-style scares about the same old tired usual subjects as child pornographers, terrorists, hackers, thieves and so on who ironically probably are more greatly benefited by the current system allowing any one of them in the world to roam free in one's most private areas at will from which the major tech companies unified desperately are trying to protect all Americans even as the State is not.
FBI Director James Comey should be removed from office because whatever his intentions may be the result of their fulfillment will be such further damage to the United States Constitution and its battered core fundamental principles of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness contingent on the lack of unjust intrusion of the State (and the many others to whom it would let the door remain open) into one's most personal and private affairs especially in the still present wake of recent years' unlawful State actions that are so anathema to this Great Country's founding principles that one fears ultimately for the United States survival under such an unjust and misguided burden on the foundations upon which it was created.
God Bless the United States of America. Long may it live.
