Monday, 1 July 2013, BEIJING - Hello readers sorry about all the mail we externs have been getting behind on these days. But who can keep track of all those p.o. box keys and renewals and everything anyway. No worries about the headline just some drunk tech yuppie left his algorithms and his mePhone 9 when we dragged him out of the street over his protests, last thing we saw of him he went screaming off toward the bad part of town trailing one hundred dollar bills.
Now what about the daily posts that sometimes appear to come out only, well, not every day? All we can say is we cannot be responsible for the entire world wide web. We duly send off the pigeons each morning (sometimes by one minute past midnight to beat the "Newspapers of Record" whatever they are) from all over the world except our bureaus on rapidly melting but still cool icebergs and big growing deserts which are really getting hot these days. Please no mail about the "pigeon launchings" which of course are only committed or rather celebrated where allowed in fact encouraged by law like lots of places here in our friendly local host country, and they are fed a working wage.
And in other areas short of pigeons as determined by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (the U.S. "Livin' The Wild Life Serve Us"?) and private oil refineries which if we remember the tv ads from our childhoods correctly are kind of like national parks only where everything dies of natural people-made pollution or when parts of the refinery blow up by accident because they are so busy drug-testing the "safety sensitive" workers and interrogating them over 50% "false positives" (because they use the cheap tests when they should be checking for BTEX in their blood anyway) that they are like zombies made to work either triple-shifts or get fired or at least make them work every weekend and holiday for the next five years). Speaking of which if they gave former failed animal husbandry major Texas Idiot Governor Rick  "Six-Shooter" Perry a PET scan we bet they would have taken him straight from that debate to the ICU (please, anywhere but Texas, we have a drug discount card) found a cortex full of methylethylbenzene helps keep the air, well . . . .
Back to our original digression (no you cannot digress from your starting point) of course most of the correspondence we receive would not be publishable or even maybe mentionable under our strict policies because one can only say so much about that which. . . . All we have to say is three days from now the Founding Fathers will be twirling in their graves. At least since these idiots have to say an oath to the Constitution, could they not maybe as well be made to read it! It does after all have a part on amending it. If they get one wrong, no let's be fair and lower the bar, if they cannot get even a single question on it right, we say take away their gun and stick a pocket U.S. Constitution in it.
After all even in the CBS 1968 News Special Mr. Justice Hugo L. Black admitted he always carried one in his pocket because HE could not remember every word of it. (It was kind of a stupid question to ask him, although he DID use the example of why we find the word "No" in the First Amendment and "unreasonable" in the Fourth. He was in his eighties and had yet to write the Pentagon Papers decision).
Please do not even get us going on how they have ignored the Ninth Amendment. Do not worry we will all have time to read it from prison between being waterboarded and shocked on the genitals while attacked naked by German Shepherds because for what we said on Mugbook about Monsanto fifteen years ago. That is if they are handing out reading material. Please do not say we did not tell you so. We told you so.

Representative Ryan's "People" Sheepishly Request Unforthcoming "Correction" of Times' Economics Nobel Prize Winner Krugman Statement Exposing Ryan's Proposed "Loophole-Ending" Budget Really Raises Revenue By Raising Taxes, Meanwhile Readers Reminded To Stay Well In Public Eye When "Men In Suits" Come To "Visit"

Wednesday, 4 April 2012, NEW YORK, NEW YORK - The Ninth Amendment reminds readers that apart from avoiding READING UNLIMITED FREE CONTENT FROM THE NEW YORK TIMES SIMPLY BY SETTING READERS' FREE FIREFOX BROWSERS ON "PRIVATE BROWSING".  KEEP THEMSELVES IN THE PUBLIC EYE should they ever find themselves in a situation serious enough that that mostly duos of the infamous "men in suits" start appearing in their lives at unexpected moments in unexpected places wishing to discuss blithely intimate private details of the reader's home and especially bedroom environment that no one but the reader should know.
Members of the Ninth Amendment editorial board breakfasting this morning met just such a man who identified himself as John and began telling a story of a now extended history of just such creepy "Men in Suits" visits. We were abruptly called away to cover a poodle fashion show and thus unable immediately further to assess the man or the circumstances possibly precipitating the reported visits of the "Men in Suits". But we have since been sent "Links" which currently are under analysis. No news developed enough to report but an excellent opportunity to remind readers of the following should they find themselves in any such circumstances.
Thus the fact of the day that "Men in Suits" live for "surprises", but not for themselves. Readers who seriously find themselves in any such situation would be best to consult with a trusted attorney which brings all sorts of privileges and jawboning in the public eye into play. In any case whomever is consulted must be knowledgeable, experienced and most importantly BY ALL MEANS KEEP THE READER IN THE PUBLIC EYE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.  The Ninth Amendment offers this advice for readers' consideration not from experience or any claimed expertise but simply from common sense.
On a lighter note perhaps and then again maybe not the following Ninth Amendment comment was published today in the digital Times in response to a report of Representative Ryan's "people's" request of New York Times economics Nobel Prize winning columnist Paul Krugman exposing Ryan's idiotic proposed budget naturally embraced by all Republicans and described by Ryan as a "loophole eliminator" as really raising revenues by ultimately raising taxes including upon, God Forbid!, the rich. Although he his head of the House budget committee he somehow overlooked or rather misrepresented that small detail and now turns to the Times of all places to issue an obviously incorrect "correction" to help him out.

Professor Krugman we most always "just wonder" at best even in what used to be our sleep except the rare times we do not and then just are emphatically wrong. Ergo you are right about us. As for yourself, sir, with all due respect the Ninth Amendment at www.waronnothing.blogspot.com cannot abide your characteristically humble implication that the "you wonder" is self-inclusive. As Noam Chomsky might answer you ask the wrong question because the premise that the Ryan people ever "accomplished" anything useful or bettering society is untenable. Now they "want" but dare not "demand" of you a public "correction" which exposes either they are unfamiliar with "retractions" and/or cognizant enough of Mr. Ryan's fungibility to his limited number of most learned "personal" supporters to see that no doubt collectively having less Nobel Prizes in Economics than yourself they best tread lightly when expressing a desire that you obediently "correct" your economic conclusion by publicly declaring yourself wrong in print with a proclamation in your field of expertise that you know to be false solely for the benefit of their candidate Ryan. This is neither in terror nor general harassment but if anything specific harassment of a most cautious variety as they well know that to have to tell you what is what and what is not in terms of closing loopholes being an obvious euphemism for RYAN RAISING TAXES is about as welcome an order as they eat all their vegetables to get that large dessert.

Ninth Amendment Finds Itself Back to February 2012 Along With Google, the NSA, Signals Intelligence, Unrecognized Casualties of Afghanistan War

Wednesday, 15 February 2012, BARBARY COAST - The Ninth Amendment reminds readers to avoid reading free unlimited New York Times content simply by setting readers' free Firefox browsers to "Private Browsing". The Ninth Amendment editorial staff and global bureaus have been gratified by our faithful readers who have doggedly continued to read this log daily although there allegedly have been no new apparent posts here in three months. But most especially gratified by our favorite advertiser Mitt Romney to whom Google still has persisted successfully in selling new advertising for the daily posts although the posts have been apparently unchanged the unless read according to algorithms known only to Google and renegade former employees.
To paraphrase Dr. Hunter S. Thompson's sentiments when holding court here at Vesuvio's in the City at his "home away from home in Woody Creek" (just above Spec's, home of the martini rivaled only by surly Bruno's in the Haight who refused even to acknowledge that the 1960's literally exploded right outside his Persian Aub Zam Zam's front door on Haight Street). To paraphrase Dr. Thompson, "What it's February now? That happened to you too?"
The fact for the day is that the Ninth Amendment has been with all our readers every day and now has returned to the 51st State of Consciousness after a seeming diversion to the booming field of "signals intelligence" as masterminded by the National Security Agency.. The hidden fact for the day is that the New York Times reported that last year more American private contractors were killed in Afghanistan combat than were United States military personnel, without public announcement, no ceremonial recognition by the United States Government, nor in most cases any survivors' benefits for their widows and orphans. Our hearts go out to them and all killed, wounded, and their loved ones left behind.God Bless America.
