N.Y. Times Endorses Cyberwarfare Pentagon New Strategy Signaling China, Russia, Iran, North Korea That Despite Cybermilitarization Concerns U.S. Is Prepared To Retaliate Against Cyberattacks With Cyberwarfare Capability

Tuesday, 28 April 2015, NEW YORK, NY - The New York Times entire editorial board today endorses in the face of a "top national security threat" the Pentagon's newly released 33-page cybersecurity strategy (the "Strategy") in the absence of any meaningful comprehensive action by the Republican-controlled Congress on which President Obama has "given up" to address what U.S. Defense Secretary Ashton Carter last week warned were cyberthreats "increasing in severity and sophistication".
Some of the most notable recent cyberintrusions have been made by Russia into the Pentagon, State Department and White House as well as by North Korea in its 2014 corporate attack on Sony Pictures. A Russian White House attack last year although reportedly "only" into the White House unclassified computer system collected data including President Obama's email correspondence and in fact was "more intrusive and worrisome" than has been publicly acknowledged serving as a "chilling example" of the potential for deep penetration by cyberadversaries into government computers.
The Strategy in addition to being intended to send a warning directly to demonstrated cyberadversaries China, Russia, Iran and North Korea also lays out a broad framework for a comprehensive cyberdefense system responding to cyberthreats and cyberattacks on a scaled basis first by private business alone, in more serious cases with government assistance to private businesses from the Department of Homeland Security, in more serious cases yet by existing network defenses and law enforcement agencies such as the F.B.I. and finally in the most serious cases under order of the President the U.S. military could conduct operations to counter and presumably launch full U.S. cybersecurity retaliatory attacks to cause serious disruption, damage and destruction to adversaries' cybercapabilities with weapons now being developed in response to an "imminent or threatened attack against the U.S. homeland or U.S. interests in cyberspace".
Threats of "cybermilitarization" as raised here in recent previous posts including the potential for further serious unacceptable unconstitutional threats to the American people's privacy rights remain a concern although unlike the Congressional "cybersecurity" bill reported on recently here which on its face appeared to focus most on immunizing private business from liability the Strategy announced by the Pentagon apparently does not address that subject with its focus as expected and appropriate being directly on United States national cybersecurity interests. How "cybermilitarization" and concomitant privacy invasion concerns are addressed should be scrutinized as more particulars of the Strategy develop the public release of which is noted to be a belated welcome step toward government "transparency" in this critical area of the greatest importance to business and the public such that these and other concerns must be meaningfully addressed in the Strategy's implementation.
The Strategy's framework as solidified must address the coordination and various federal entities with current U.S. cybersecurity responsibilities including the National Security Agency, the Department of Homeland Security, the Central Intelligence Agency, the F.B.I. and the Pentagon. Considering the prominence given it with a photograph atop the below linked article and the sole mention of a federal agency in the recently proposed Congressional "cybersecuirty" bill being to it as well it would appear that significant cybersecurity information and response coordination responsibilities will fall with the previously obscure National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center in Arlington, Virginia.
In addition to the great number of cybersecurity workers currently employed by the government the Strategy is expected  in coming years to increase military cybersecurity employment to 6,200 workers and cost billions of dollars annually. Readers interested in more information can go to the below link which also includes in it a direct link to the text of the 33-page Strategy publicly released by the Pentagon.

CIA Front Google Loads Deceptive New "Gadgets" In Blogspot After Antitrust CIA Facebook Zuckerboy Misdeeds Crushed By Staggering European Fines

Friday, 8 March 2013, LANGLEY, VA. - Just days after perennial sneak criminal CIA Tool Zuckerboy (aka "Zuckerman") through his Facebook (CIA codename "Facelog" or "Mugbook") franchise has been slapped down again by European regulators with a staggering antitrust fine nearing one billion dollars, the CIA through its direct Google database retrieval and storage front is encouraging "blogsters" to add new gadgets embedded with costly deceptive "advertising" traps for unwary readers.
Google allegedly originally was hatched under cover at MIT where many classically illegal CIA covert Vietnam projects were funded (ask Noam Chomsky) as a new generation link-based "searchtool". The CIA believed to have a phony indemnification agreement with Zuckerboy's Facebook reportedly is scrambling for more money through whatever means possible, including duping American readers directly rather than through its so-called "Black-Ops" budget dumped on it annually by Americans' representatives.
Apparently once European allies are not so amused with CIA attempts to catalog every face and location on the planet via Facebook and Google. Moreover they are recouping the price of former "President" George "little shrub" Bush.dragging them into bogus conflicts which cost them untold amounts of casualties, money and the fall of governments.
The CIA after the debacle of General Moron Petraeus whose CIA computer was hacked while he served as Director of the CIA spending his time corresponding by e-mail with his paid mistress and using the computer password "Spot" oversaw the CIA through a stunning series of setbacks starting with the Taliban walking unchallenged into the CIA's main Afghanistan headquarters base and mowing down CIA agents eventually all forcing President Obama to fire him from his CIA job as well as his previous job as Afghanistan military commander.
The CIA is so desperate for funds through its Google front reportedly it also actually is encouraging "blogsters" to put "Paypal" donation buttons as new features on their so-called "blogs" reportedly to siphon off funds for its latest misadventures. Not to mention a daily Marine Corps quote. Reportedly worthy General Petraeus quotes also were to be a proposed new "gadget", but few could be located and those would be unsuitable as they all appeared to CIA analysts to be inarticulate criticisms of the United States Government and/or arguably pornographic.
As for the "Paypal" begging plan The Ninth Amendment editorial board assures readers it has no plans to join in the classically deceptive new CIA-Google begging plan at least until the CIA either goes away or abides by its charter to stay out of the United States and do something good for the world that would once again make this Great Country proud that it is something more than a base for U.S. Government-funded worldwide assassins, an avid creator and supporter of terrorists who then turn on the United States, an enemy of worldwide democracy, and has proven at least one sadly inept and dangerous spy agency, both to the CIA itself where like the DEA it routinely turns on its own operatives and leaves them out to dry (as documented in its attempted effort to do so in the recent Academy Award winning 2013 Best Picture of the Year "Argo"), and to the citizens of the United States who inevitably unknowingly suffer the "blowback" of its ill-conceived murderous misadventures. God Bless America..

President Obama's Israeli "Pact" That Was Not, New Materials From Our Vaults, NSA Signals Intelligence FOIA Requests, Occuwhat? Outlawed

Monday, 5 March 2012, NEW YORK, NEW YORK - The Ninth Amendment reminds readers to avoid reading FREE UNLIMITED DIGITAL CONTENT OF THE NEW YORK TIMES SIMPLY BY SETTING READERS' FREE FIREFOX BROWSERS TO "PRIVATE BROWSING. We are pleased to report we now have completed a blue-ribbon review of our archival materials. No, readers, we are not collecting in storage containers all material ever printed or published or filmed by humankind up through the first decades of the internet to insure that some "true record" of the past will survive that cannot be altered merely by a computer command which will enable those who would be so inclined to "change history" at will bu t at least must go to the trouble of publishing a book, research paper or perhaps something in hard copy to refute the existence of true historical events. We understand someone else is working on that project.
The Ninth Amendment merely wishes for reasons of consistency and historical integrity to publish in this post and a few that follow some relatively recent posts prepared for publication which were never earlier in fact converted from draft to final publication as our IT staff overlooked clicking the "Publish Post" icon as IT has been so busy studying the signals intelligence information, coloring books, pornographic videos and poorly redacted pages sent in response to the Ninth Amendment's FOIA requests of the National Security Agency.
The fact for the day is that President Obama has gone so far as expressly to assure Israel that the United States will engage in nuclear war or worse if it is in the "defense" interests of Israel, with particular emphasis focused on any possible nuclear weapon capability of Iran being pre-emptively responded to probably with complete annihilation despite repeated top intelligence reports from executive "national intelligence" agencies that Iran has dismantled its nuclear program. These reports are believed to be likely inaccurate as many such previous reports have been on different "foreign intelligence" matters such as Iraq except perhaps must significantly reports of suspicious pre-9/11 global activity which were completely ignored.
The hidden fact for the day is that Israel is not known to have made any similar such reciprocal pledge to engage in nuclear war or worse on behalf of  the United States should this country's "national security" interests be challenged, must recently allegedly in Afghanistan and Iraq where on each front to the best of the Ninth Amendments' global bureaus' information any Israeli troops fighting alongside the United States and NATO allies were noticeably absent. As, in fact, Israeli military power used in support primarily of United States "national security" interests has been absent from all United States conflicts since Israel came into existence so far as our research department knows.
This trade-off sounds somewhat reminiscent of the unspoken pacts regarding those hot-shot Wall Street investment bank gambles where their odds appear particularly favorable since the investment bank can only win for its own enormous profit or unlike most of us be bailed out also at a profit by the full faith and credit of OUR United States when it seemingly loses. This is known in the George Walker Bush National Intelligence Center near the petting zoo in Mclean, Virginia as a WIN-WIN situation.
In any case on to a comment response submitted to the New York Times on Monday 17 September 2011 to the venerable Professor Paul Krugman in response to a piece he wrote. It is unclear at this time if the Ninth Amendment actually was digitally published in the Times but, in the words of Google "our best people are working on it". We are confident that our readers will grasp immediately that our comment was submitted in response to a piece of Professor Krugman's regarding what has come to be know as the "Occupy" movement, below the "occupied" area being Wall Streeet in a modest sort of way. (At present now having evolved into a re-definition overwhelmingly by the United States House of Representatives from a First Amendment assemblage -- many of the new Repbulican and "Tea Partier" members being completely unfamiliar with the document commonly known as the United States Constitution -- into some sort of nationwide conspiracy of potential assassins to be hauled off in chains at the first opportunity).
Comment:
Thank you once again for clearly identifying in a straightforward manner another economic reality that here addresses the roots of the Wall Street protests that one would have thought was belaboring the obvious to anyone with a memory capable of recalling major events that have occurred in less than the last couple decades. The Ninth Amendment log fully supports you, sir, in hopefully finding the opportunity to issue reminders as needed. Meanwhile it appears the NYPD will take care to ensure that through the strategic use of unnecessary violent attacks, arrests, and movable outdoor prisons on peaceful protestors which obviously are widely broadcast instantaneously the NYPD itself soon will accomplish the nurturing of a modest protest into an event of unknown proportions that may give obscenely overpaid financial industry welfare ingrates and their cronies something more to do than whine.
