Rejected "War On Drugs" By Latin America After Enduring 40+ Failed Years Of Bloodshed And Misery Under Cynically Bogus Corrupt U.S. Policy Disaster

     Sunday, 17 May 2015, BOGOTA, COLOMBIA - As previously reported here Colombia this week defied 40+ years of U.S. financial and other pressure on sovereign Latin American and other nations refusing to play along any longer as a reluctant forced U.S. "partner" aerial spraying its own land and people with U.S. supplied RoundUp herbicide-homicide poison considered a "crucial aspect" of the D.E.A.'s "Plan Colombia". But this episode highlights just one more incremental U.S. international drug policy blunder in this instance incidentally chemically assaulting human beings and the environment in the ridiculously counterproductive arsenal of idiocy long deployed without regard for consequence in the name of the totally inept endemically corrupt morally bankrupt U.S. cynically bogus permanent welfare fund for hard-partying D.E.A. agent drug cartel buddies and so many parasitic others including in the "law enforcement judicial system prison industries" totally invested for their livelihood in inflicting horrific misery wantonly destroying untold lives of others including their families and children.
     Such is the legacy of the stupendously utterly predictable epic failure of the cynically bogus Nixon-created "war on drugs" idiotically degrading and destroying entire nations and peoples including so many thousands of those incarcerated in the United States meanwhile having created and now generously sustaining the ever-growing monster of continually empowered viciously dangerous deeply entrenched global criminal organizations relying for their constant stream of enormous income on the moronic continuance of obviously idiotic completely failed U.S. drug criminalization policies. Such enormous sums of cash long as well have been known to fund sometimes with C.I.A. assistance terrorist activities once believed presumably "controllable in U.S. interests" but now escalated exponentially worldwide expanded geographically and in strength to the degree believed to pose most serious immediate threats to the national security of the United States.
     Despite the above dismal recounting of the past near half-century of failed U.S. "drug policy" there may be some indication that the United States after 40+ years of promoting and financing at enormous cost little but devastating misery while creating a much more dangerous world for all with near absolute zero success in its stated objectives may finally be recognizing the potentially catastrophic consequences nationally and internationally that may well result if this most hideously dangerous U.S. fabricated so-called "war on drugs" is not tethered and brought to a reasoned halt with all due haste. "Colombia is one of the closest allies of the United States in Latin America, so its decision to stop aerial spraying was highly symbolic. The tactic was a central part of its American-backed antidrug effort, and Colombia’s decision was made over objections from Washington.

But once it was clear that Colombia would go its own way, Washington’s response was relatively muted, with American officials offering their public support.

The American reaction was a strong contrast to its approach in years past, when Washington would have been much more insistent, analysts said.

“I believe we’re at a transition point right now,” said William R. Brownfield, the American assistant secretary of state for international narcotics and law enforcement affairs.

As former American ambassador to Colombia, he spoke in favor of the coca spraying program before the Colombian government’s decision to end it. But he also said that the dialogue on drug policy in Latin America was a positive development.

“We are effectively in the middle of this discussion,” Mr. Brownfield said. “We should be talking about considering and where appropriate adopting moderate and reasonable reforms to international drug control policy."

Cuba "Terror" State Status Today May Be Lifted By U.S. And Diplomatic Relations Restored As Nations Meet At Summit Of The Americas In Panama

     Friday, 10 April 2015, HAVANA - History may be in the making even as United States President Barack Obama and Cuban President Raul Castro plan to meet in coming days at the Panama Summit of the Americas beginning today already U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez now are meeting in Panama behind closed doors in the highest level meetings between the U.S. and Cuba in nearly half a century. The U.S. State Department reportedly has recommended that the Cuba be removed from the U.S. list of states which sponsor terrorism.        Sunday, 28 September 2014, WASHINGTON, D.C. - In the wake of staggering revelations made public in documents still being released from Edward Snowden methodically upon determination that they will not put Government operatives or agents at direct risk steadily chronicling United States Government blatantly unconscionable unconstitutional criminal misconduct among other things in wholesale mass eavesdropping on and permanently recording its own American citizens across the board with no cause at all snooping into every aspect of the lives of all American people respecting no privacy whatsoever even in every sacred moment of their lives including their communicating about perfectly legal business, family and pleasure matters to everything in between without limitation including for example all from the most deeply personal to commercial secrets to private religious, medical, and political conversations as well as with their lawyers and accountants, political to intimate conversations between couples married and not and the millions of other types of perfectly legal totally private and personal conversations in which everyone in the United States should be able to engage with the expectation of the right to privacy being absolutely recognized and respected by the State whose morally bankrupt criminal snoops otherwise belong in prison.
       That expectation is inherent given the understanding of for what Americans have fought and died to live in a country with a government constrained and respectful of laws rather than one that routinely criminally misbehaves as a matter of course lording over its citizens as if they were the oppressed slaves of a totalitarian state now to the point that finally even America's tech giants are fighting back perhaps soon in court and right now in their research and development efforts after routinely being forced under illegal orders to execute the Government's criminal dirty work against Apple and Google's own clients and customers and then left largely to play the fall guys for these heinous illegal Government-ordered invasions of privacy on a scale so universal as to have come to seem unreal as directed by Government representatives now too young to have fought in anything but phony wars as exemplified by the phony Nixon totally hypocritical insincere losing "war on drugs" dragging on now for 40+ years with no overall progress at all to show for it but rather the establishment of highly violent international crime organizations that are at the point of rivaling the firepower of entire corrupted nations leaving behind a trail countless dead including tens of thousands of innocents and nothing to show but failure failure and misery.
       Though Facelog's Zuckerboy with his ever-evolving schemes to extract from Facebook users as much private information by any means possible with no notice whatsoever until forced to provide it has long been suspected by many of being a CIA operative with a devious brilliance this sick penchant for extracting more information through ever-expanding trickery in his Mugbook service that will "always be free" including using devices such as facial recognition technology and "tagging" and on and on as he relentlessly persists in trying to dupe Americans and persons worldwide into creating their own most intimate files to serve as ready fodder "selfie"-made dossiers for government perusal at its leisure essentially a J. Edgar Hoover sicko romp into Zuckerboy's twisted idea of privacy invasion mugshot heaven with all biographical information including birth, location, family, friends, activities, politics, thoughts, etc. to boot. The European community having a little more context long has not been amused with his twisted antics with its European Union regulators fining his spydom goldmine hundreds of millions of dollars on more than one occasion yet barely even followed in the news it means so little to the bottom line especially as it is probably paid by American taxpayers via the CIA anyway.
       Back in the United States while Zuckerboy no doubt gladly hands it all over to his handlers the other tech giants have become increasingly uneasy with first Yahoo which unsuccessfully sued the U.S. Government for ordering it to turn over clients' private information but did prevail in being able to make the damning case files public.  Unlike Zuckerboy proud to violate the Constitution at every opportunity at the Government's behest provided Zuckerboy even knows or cares what the Constitution is (or rather was), Apple too like Yahoo apparently has had it with playing criminal in the eyes of the American and foreign peoples under orders from the metastasized National Security agencies thus commercially threatening the company at home and especially abroad and yesterday announced the release of the latest generation iPhone which even Apple cannot penetrate once it is in the customer's hands. No backdoor for the suits to sneak into Americans treasure trove of private information which the U.S. Government has come to see as its birthright.
       Now Google long suspected itself of managing Americans private information in collusion with the CIA allegedly with some data centers built side-by-side has turned and also taken aim first organizing resistance to NSA blanket interception and storage of communications and now like Apple in the technology research and development arena announced it also no longer had provided a "backdoor" for the government "suits" to slip inside to snoop around Google's clients' most private information either. So Google although long suspected itself of complicity in the Government's mass surveillance run totally amok of the Constitution (although a big deal was made most likely as a cover story about the resourceful Feds having to crack the code and secretly intercept an uncooperative Google's internal date packet transmissions "on the fly" under yet another novel lame legal theory of legitimacy concocted by U.S. Government "lawyers" no doubt on the condition that whatever latest tortured analysis they had concocted justifying the Government's crimes in advance be locked deep in a vault and never looked at again until fifty years after all involved were dead now also apparently really is fed up as Google now spearheads NSA reform drives and apparently shares Apple's domestic and especially foreign commercial concerns about further even involuntary participation with the government spying on its customers and/or clients and thus made Google's own announcement on the heels of Apple's that its latest generation Android phones likewise could not be penetrated for data even by Google.
      The Feds with their newfound 21st Centuty attitude of total entitlement and apparent perceived immunity from incarceration (for themselves) are apoplectic having sucked at the tit of unconstitutionality for so long and with such impunity that the existing phone warrant requirement (still the law of the land for wired phones last the Ninth Amendment heard) seems to them a quaint relic of the dinosaur age (the 1950's) since the advent of the portable and then cellphone of course meant to them that although the legal reasoning should have been exactly the same and likewise protected such communications the Feds had soon made it clear that if it went through the air rather than a line a telephone conversation involved no expectation of privacy at all. A perfectly tautological argument making no sense whatsoever.
       And that reasoning certainly did become a self-fulfilling prophecy because law enforcement with impunity since routinely has listened in on any such telephone so there sure was no expectation of privacy since law enforcement made sure privacy in such conversations was non-existent. As the Virginia farmboys' parents and ancestors who had themselves once made honest livings and fought to the death for such liberties would say it was a case in which "the horse followed the cart". And the American people allowed this further assault to be perpetrated against their rapidly disappearing core fundamental rights under the Constitution with barely a whimper all for the sake of the instant convenience of pulling a phone from one's pocket and also because they most likely knew no better even if the government would be the third party on the line.

       Monday, 15 September 2014, WASHINGTON, D.C. - Longtime hypocrite U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder who has led the Obama administration's all-too-frequent criminal attacks on the U.S. Constitution including in direct contravention of Obama campaign promises to those who got Obama elected with two-faced Holder often championing U.S. Government actions far worse than those of the unelected "President" George "little shrub" Bush Administration such as strengthening and making permanent sections of the so-misnamed "Patriot Act", supporting rampant NSA and other executive agencies running totally amok invading Americans' privacy everywhere is at it again this time despite Holder's smokescreen of earlier hollowly tightening the draconian "National Security" exemption which gives a free totally unadjudicated pass to such things as CIA torture and murder programs, and wholesale adoption of Bush phony "law enforcement" programs to name but a few more memorable Holder total hypocracies by stealth now seeks to set the precedent of using the so-called "national security" exemption to further desecrate the U.S. Constitution in a private defamation lawsuit against U.S.-based apparent Israel front group "United Against Nuclear Iran".
       The Ninth Amendment editorial board based on the reported facts alone since enemy of the U.S. Constitution Holder per below has provided no justification therefore finds this attempt by hypocrite Holder and his DOJ lackeys to be a sickening abomination on the known facts and a seriously dangerous attempt to further dismantle the protections of the system of government embodied in the U.S. Constitution without regard for whether this callous willingness to further degrade the U.S. Constitution is motivated by a desire to protect the domestic interests of Israel or any other country regardless of U.S. relations with it. The United States Constitution is a compact between the citizens of this country which suffers the existence of the State on the express unequivocal principle that the rights embodied in the Constitution run only to the people of this country themselves. Any conception that these rights in any way run to the interests of or can be sacrificed in the interests of any foreign state is a reprehensible notion indicative of dangerously misguided fools who certainly are worthy of no office sworn to uphold the United States Constitution which they apparently are of too unsound mind to comprehend or under which they are too corrupt and contemptuous of to hold any public or official office.
       Even further enraging is the Justice Department vacuous statement to the Times which takes the additional unprecedented loathsome step of further embracing complete unaccountability with DOJ's spit in your face claim that "the concerned federal agency, the particular information at issue and the bases for the assertion of the states-secret privilege cannot be disclosed" without jeopardizing national security. Government officials should be coming up with a damn good justification for the greatly expanded claim here or considering the time they could go to prison for such presumed criminal misuse of the in any case highly suspect national security "state-secrets" privilege" such as here in a private defamation action for the apparent benefit of a foreign state. Worst Ebola Outbreak Over 700+ Dead In Northwest Africa Infections Surge Past 1,000 As Deadly Global Conflicts Rage

       Tuesday, 29 July 2014, LAGOS, NIGERIA - A major outbreak of the notoriously deadly Ebola virus now declared to be the worst in known history most recently first identified among African villagers in Guinea in northwest Africa has spread to more populated areas after killing a physician and infecting at least two American health care workers including a missionary doctor tending to victims of the virus who at last report were both in isolation in critical condition. The doctor's family returned to Texas apparently before he showed preliminary symptoms of Ebola but are being monitored for three weeks for signs of fever.
       The virus most often identified in past outbreaks in remote regions of Africa where it was believed to have been contracted from jungle primates is especially of concern as current cases now having taken an estimated seven hundred lives with more than one thousand persons believed infected have appeared in more populated areas with access to air travel which there is some possibility could rapidly spread the virus to distant areas of other continents far from the source of the Ebola outbreak among humans in northwest Africa on the African continent. There is no known cure for Ebola which has a fatality rate of over ninety per cent. The disease is not airborne but is believed to be transmittable on an airplane for example by touch. Although the early symptoms mimic less serious medical conditions this rapidly deteriorates into a condition known for the rapid onset of massive hemorrhaging. One American who has died of Ebola after air travel within Africa was known to be planning to travel to Minnesota within the week.

       Although news reports have focused on the alleged flow of Russian armaments across the Russian border to the Ukrainian separatists suspected of shooting down a Malaysian Airlines Boeing 777 possibly with Russian assistance flying over 31,000 feet above the border conflict area, United States officials have admitted the United States meanwhile has been supplying armaments to Ukraine but these reports have been downplayed by the U.S. because these Ukrainians "are the good guys". Increased heavy fighting today apparently has further delayed any approach to the crash site of the Malaysian Airlines Flight MH-17 Boeing 777 where remaining evidence of the cause of the crash may become significantly more difficult to identify should heavy armaments land on the site, although the Ukrainians have resolved to leave the area off-limits as a battlefield.
       Meanwhile in the Israeli-Hamas fighting wing conflict Hamas leadership reportedly rejected a cease-fire after Israel apparently in recent days after striking a U.N. hospital and schools killing scores of Palestinian children (where Israel claims Hamas armaments may have been hidden and some rockets of unknown origin indeed have been found in three closed U.N. schools) last night reason would dictate destroyed the only Gaza Strip power plant (denied by the Israelis on the most convincing logic that the plant had not been targeted and anyway what else would one expect the manager of the plant to say -- is this really the most compelling spokesperson the Israelis can come up with for the dumb Americans watching CNN?) disabling it for what is estimated to be at least a year as millions of gallons of diesel fuel also poured into the sea.
       Israel has also killed civilians in attacks in bombing attacks on Gaza Strip mosques and last night destroyed political Hamas' Radio Station and Finance Ministry "because it can finance arms". Video released today of Hamas militants emerging from an Israeli-targeted so-called "terror tunnel" and killing Israeli soldiers before being bombed into oblivion belied Israeli claims that the tunnels were necessarily directed at civilian targets when this evidence would seem to support the tunnels were built to serve at least to some extent the military purpose of engaging armed Israeli soldiers. In heavy fighting since five more mosques have been hit in overnight fighting extending into Wednesday morning where directly hitting another United Nations school in a Northern Gaza refugee camp school killing as many as twenty more children. In early reports Israeli spokespersons claimed Hamas fighters were to blame for engaging in a firefight with Israeli soldiers.
       Although Israelis have claimed Americans are "on the front lines with them" apparently because Americans are so impressed with Israel's "embracing of democratic Western values" ever more young and aging Americans apparently are beginning to more strongly doubt the credibility of many recent Israeli factual claims regarding what often appear to be atrocities reportedly with the exception of certain evangelical American minorities and especially the fanatical support of many American Tea Partiers. As for Americans' deep abiding respect for "democratic" values that respect has hardly been demonstrated with many taking significant issue with that assertion in that that most "American" of State institutions the C.I.A. arguably has been responsible for the destruction of more elected democracies than any other State institution in modern history as it is well-known that those democracies to which the C.I.A. is not sympathetic are not only not to be supported but rather terminated and permanently eliminated by C.I.A. murderers at the first credible or not-so-credible opportunity last century by assassins and this by "lethal surveillance teams".
       The recent events reportedly have drawn Iran closer to the cause of the Hamas armed wing. Israel repeatedly has claimed that Gaza targets may actually have been hit by errant Hamas missiles although so far Israel has not adduced any credible evidence in support of this claim. CNN reports that in recent weeks the hundreds of Palestinian children killed in the Gaza strip number greater than the total number of Israeli soldiers killed in the area in the last six to eight years. A member of the Israeli opposition claims that United States taxpayers have "footed the bill" for more than ninety per cent of the Israelis' so-called "Iron Shield" as well as possibly the cost of and supply of other Israeli airbase in Germany today personnel were alarmed to find the dead body of an apparently African male who was found dead in the rear landing gear wheel-well after being missed by a first post-landing check then only found lagerby a follow-up check of a large United States C-130J transport which had made stops at several African countries in unrevealed sequence including those affected by the Ebola virus outbreak which has caused significant health and security concerns within the United States Air Force.

Criminal Interference Attempts Against Ninth Amendment Freedoms Of Speech And Press And Readers' Access To Site Resumed By Conspiring Parties' Felony Violations Of Federal And State Statutes

       Tuesday, 15 June 2014, SHREVEPORT AND HOUSTON, THE GULF OF COREXIT -  The editorial board of the Ninth Amendment once again reluctantly has determined that the time is upon us that we must creep about for a few hours because it is that brief period no longer than an extra-innings professional baseball game after luncheon and before the dinner hour when Texas present and former Governors and Presidents lay down for their nappy-time toddies perhaps occasionally arising from their untroubled slumbers to play another quick round of video golf or practice their penmanship signing all those darn papers that just keep coming no matter how fast they sign them and then check to make sure that all were signed right side up. An honest man must earn his money the honest way or it just does not feel right.*
       Fantasy worlds of sweet delusion aside the editorial board of the Ninth Amendment has decided actually at this time that the all too familiar increasing interference with domestic, interstate and international communications between our northern hemisphere headquarters and various technical support and news bureau locations such that one who did not know better might think that our rigorous investigative and reporting impartiality and focus of attention might be compromised by the implied complications inherent in various implicit and more explicit threats really is nothing more than an arguably refreshing opportunity to peruse the statutes for the latest draconian penalties enacted for cybercrimes both mundane and exotic and related newly criminal activities focused on information technology, computers and the Internet that the State has been so busily enacting in the broad sweep of its hysteria that the number of years those who intermittently maintain such an interest in attempting to disrupt and divert this site qualify for achieve a number that eventually becomes higher than we are able easily to count but certainly totals something on the order of several centuries' worth of lifetimes far greater than one person might ever reasonably expect to live.
        Then of course for good measure comes the time to throw on the less sexy (as they say in the profession) list of activities which are not cyber anything but nevertheless have been around for centuries since in most cases there also is a laundry list of predicate unlawful acts which one would rather just have skipped altogether but remain altogether necessary nevertheless in many cases just to get to the scene of the crime whether one likes it or not.
       And finally as if all that were not enough just to make sure some bad guy (or gal) who is not one of the lucky ones who secretly was slipped their get out of jail free card out of the woodwork come the seemingly non-specific innocuous-sounding but not really so much as one would think charges like conspiracy, aiding and abetting, knowledge before the fact, knowledge after the fact, obstruction of justice, attempted, abandoned (but not in time), and of course always the danger of misidentification, disidentification, robodentification, wrong prisoner, blind witness, jailhouse snitch one never even remembers seeing before, even God forbid a peace officer sworn to uphold the law but who describes you and your actions such that you do not even realize she is testifying under penalty of perjury about you.
        is it worth risking all that? Especially when one then will more likely than not be at the mercy of some other sick individual not a true friend but who will hold out, no way will he sell you out for a song. But then on the other hand, maybe for what he finally settled for which was a song and a sandwich. And you have nothing new to say?  So maybe they decide not to rat you out either. At least they only have something Well then on a slow day maybe it is time to speak of mandatory sentences, so sad everyone's hands are tied. Oh except come to think of it maybe there was that one person, that one alone who might change the charges just a little bit to manipulate the "mandatory" minimum. If only that dog had not barked, the one that just did not care for steak seasoned with valium.
       Well on the other hand someone could have had a handgun for self-defense. Maybe they never really made it to the gun range despite the best intentions. Likewise cleaning and oiling it. Anyway readers can tell where this one is going. Some of us had it happen right down the street. Two bad guys lost their shirts at a poker game so they followed another fellow who had cleaned up at the poker game home and into the house with him and his wife. Only problem was that they were two armed men and he was one in pajamas with his gun in the drawer. But he pulled out the gun beside his wife still sleeping and pandemonium ensued. Later it took the police a while to figure out how who got where.
       In any case the domestic gunfighter did get off a shot or two. The only problem was that the one he hit and killed was his wife. As for the other two they had been around the block, avoid ed the "gunfight", they just wanted the money. And sure enough the police did catch the guys which gives us the chance to add one last point to what seemed like such a simple little crime. The poker thief did not have a gun and did not take a shot at anyone. But the husband shot his wife dead during the crime. Because the law can be a strange thing with some little surprises. He was tried and went down for murder.
       So there is one last thing to add on to everything else when we try to add up all those years. The guy who had hardly a thing to do with any cybercrime ended up with one last thing about which to worry. Like everything else it seems it has its own name, a special circumstance, although it does not sound so special in a good sort of way.
       The editorial board of the Ninth Amendment has seen more than its share of the law. We do not particularly wish it on anyone although in this Country sometimes there is a cost for speaking your voice and writing things that not everyone will wish to hear. We do not do it because we hate our Country nor anyone in it. We do it because we love our Country it has a lot of problems but it is the best one on Earth. We aim to do our part to keep it that way with the clear instructions of the men and women (they could not sign it but we have no doubt where the true decisions were made). People will disagree on how best things are done until there are no people left but one.
      But we have the ground rules as straightforward as they can be. Our ancestors made a sacred compact that established the rights and responsibilities among many different people trying to live together in one country, and among the people and the State to which they would lend their power. From their own very painful experience they agreed foremost that with very few exceptions a person, a group of people and a press were free to say as they pleased and others respond as they wished.
       As the Ninth Amendment reminded readers before in times when persons disagreed with our words all persons have always been free to respond as they pleased elsewhere or with allowance provided right here for their comments published for all to read for themselves. However it is axiomatic that free speech in no way encompasses interference or attempting interference with another person's right to speak, to assemble and/or to publish what words they will. And finally as to the truth itself one can spend a lifetime trying to change facts, but so far as we are concerned a fact is a fact and the truth is the truth. And the truth cannot be denied nor ignored forever. That is a fact.
