Memorial Day 2011 Finds U.S. Troops Still Fighting and Dying Worldwide Against Endless Supply of "Terrorists" Left to Kill

Tuesday 31 May 2011, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA - The editorial staff at the Ninth Amendment expresses our profound gratitude to the brave men and women who serve our great Nation in the Armed Forces.  Those of you who faithfully follow our log ("blog" is not a word) know that we at the Ninth Amendment embrace our duty to expose the fact that in modern times the vast majority of the "conflicts" in which the United States has and continues relentlessly to participate and most often instigate are justified by the Government on the basis of known deception and outright lies fed the American people. Ultimately they are fueled by the greed of those who stand to profit from the enormous resources these "conflicts" consume while the social programs and potential good we could accomplish suffer enormously.
The Ninth Amendment expresses our sincere, heartfelt compassion for those brave souls who for the sake of our Country have sacrificed their lives or been seriously wounded both physically and mentally, as well as the many Americans who have lost dear friends, family, and loved ones forever.  This log for more than two years now has spoken out against conflicts and policies which in fact sadly have turned out time and again in reality to be  a "war on nothing". But with very real and staggering costs.
Americans time and again are manipulated into believing that we are defending ourselves for the preservation of the great values on which the United States was founded, and indeed furthermore have some duty to expand to the corners of the globe to "make the World safe for democracy". In reality we lack information withheld from us that we actually are destroying at home and abroad the very values our Government claims to cherish, preserve and seek to make attainable for all peoples.
It is only through the freedoms of speech, assembly and the press, and our citizens' constant vigilance to preserve these essential values set out unequivocally in the United States Constitution, that many Americans have learned and will continue to learn the truth.
And that truth is that many of the conflicts in which we have become engaged are the product of nothing more than distortions, fabrications. and outright lies. The Ninth Amendment encourages every American to educate themselves, involve themselves in the political process, and make those who have wrought havoc on our Great Nation stand exposed and accountable.

New York Times Needlessly Discourages the Underprivileged from Attempting to Matriculate to Top Schools

Wednesday 25 May 2011, CAMBRIDGE, MASS. - Use of the Firefox browser set to "private browsing" as a means of bypassing the New York Times firewall and reading the digital edition without limitation for free continues to merit no better than the complete disapproval of this log.
Earlier The New York Times published a column condemning top United States educational institutions, many those of higher learning, of excluding most all disadvantaged and less financially able students so that they never even have a chance to attend these schools with a privileged elite who get in through money, legacy connections, power and other factors irrelevant to their suitability or ability once matriculated.
The New York Times furthermore presents an incomprehensible assessment that these educational institutions are not "meritocracies" because they give no advantage nor disadvantage to applicants with similar standardized testing scores regardless of from where the applicants hail as to their financial and other background. What? Is that not the very definition of a "meritocracy"?
The Times column does a terrible disservice to both top educational institutions and the students who might attend them but now will only suffer a further disservice should they become aware of these top schools then read a completely wrong and misleading piece such as the one presented in The New York Times. Ninth Amendment editors and staff attended and graduated from schools such as Exeter, Princeton, and the University of Michigan Law School. No, none of our families had previously attended any of these schools.
Yes, one editor's father was a doctor, but he was a child psychiatrist who worked twelve-hour days never raising his rates and seeing many patients for free for years. They lived in Hackensack, New Jersey in a modest 1930's house on a street with a cross-section of white and blue-collar workers.
Furthermore, their father died when they were sixteen years old on summer vacation home from Exeter between junior and senior years. The "family" money they received for higher education came mostly from a trust set up by their immigrant paternal grandparents who worked their entire lives in the United States for minimum wage since emigrating here with nothing from northern Italy soon after World War One.
Money or rather lack thereof was never an issue for anyone of whom we are aware in attending Exeter, Princeton, or the University of Michigan Law School because it was then more or less and now most definitely the policy of the top schools (while the Times here totally discourages the disadvantaged from attending) that if you got in, you went. Period. Please research and write accurate information on this extremely important subject, especially in a newspaper considered one of the very few "newspapers of record" in this country the contents of which then in turn are picked up by thousands of other papers all over the country and published with no further research whatsoever.
The Ninth Amendment files everything (unless it needs to be destroyed), and right next to us now we have an actual very real letter from Exeter to "Exonians" dated September 2008 that among other things announces that henceforth "an Exeter education will be free to any admitted student whose family income is $75,000 or less". Exeter's endowment, friend and alumni giving alone mean that when Exeter announced this it was INCLUDING a free room, board, health care, and ALL (emphasis in Exeter letter) other expenses, such as laundry, gym and sports uniforms. In short Exeter provides for free to those mentioned all this plus a tuition that in September 2008 was worth over $50,000.
Exeter eliminated loans and replaced them with grants, as have most all of the top educational institutions in the country, so that students and their families would be burdened with NO DEBT from education allowing them to pursue whatever they believed in rather than needing to do anything for "the Man" simply because they would after multiple levels of top education then graduate only to spend up to a very long period of their working years after school taking high-paying jobs they loathed so as to pay off a mountain of debt.
Exeter's web address is http://phillips.exeter.edu, and we are confident the New York Times can find Exeter's phone number. Just ask Exeter directly if this is true, but then PLEASE immediately attempt wholeheartedly to correct the terrible mistake the Times has made by publishing then a correction to your dead wrong reporting of current facts in modern times that will only serve further to discourage the disadvantaged young and their families from ever trying to get into these schools.
They will not even apply because with wrong information such as yours they will not have a clue that for starters they can be excuseD of having to pay ANY costs right from the beginning on applications to the schools and for all standardized testing that is required as part of the process. Please get the word out to the extremely large group of students and their families that are not even aware that these schools even EXIST and actually have real addresses and phones that anyone is free to contact, and that in almost all these schools students in need can now attend for nothing at all. You get in, you go.
That is what we at our Ninth Amendment log ("blog" is not a word) at www.waronnothing.blogspot.com seek ultimately to communicate to everyone who reads any one of our posts - yes, there exists a United States elite without doubt. However now the disadvantaged who are informed and in the know can have the same opportunities in higher education that the privileged and non-privileged  have.
Our Ninth Amendment editor arrived back from volunteer teaching in sub-Saharan Africa (traveling there and back on their dime earned at temporary agency work, thank you) the day before the University of Michigan Law School started lectures. They had neglected to apply for financial aid for tuition or anything else, find housing, and had literally $50 in travellers' checks left, primarily due to the difficulties of accomplishing any planning at such a distance with the limitations of operating from an African country with a rapidly deteriorating infrastructure.
They do not recommend this approach to arrival at a "top" or any other school, but the fact is that starting from the afternoon before commencing school, they received emergency funds to start and from there did in fact to go on to earn their J.D. three years later. One in fact does not need any money if  they have the intelligence, integrity, discipline and outstanding character traits that these institutions seek. As for the "elite", they are just flesh and blood and put on their pants in the morning one leg at a time just like everyone else.
Do not think of them as mythic figures, this still is a country where anyone CAN become President, and at www.waronnothing.blogspot.com we expose the elite and anyone else just for what they are. Human beings like all of us. Now, New York Times, please get the CORRECT word out, and do this country a great service by seeing that everyone knows the real facts. It bears saying one more time regarding almost all top educational institutions now, you get in, you go. Nor need you come out drowning in a mountain of debt.  End of story.

Major US Airlines Rely on Whatever Doctors May Be On Board to Save Your Life!

Tuesday 24 May 2011, NEW YORK, NEW YORK - The Ninth Amendment editors and staff sincerely urge readers NOT TO AVOID PAYING TO READ UNLIMITED NEW YORK TIMES ARTICLES SIMPLY BY SETTING THEIR FIREFOX BROWSERS TO "PRIVATE BROWSING".
The Ninth Amendment apologizes to our loyal readers for a brief post here as rapid global developments find many world bureau personnel out in the field. We are unfortunately in the position of having to report that the New York Times today apparently ignored or because of Ninth Amendment technical difficulties did not publish comments in its digital edition regarding big-firm lawyers now working on two-tier partnership and non-partnership tracks. Also the Times failed to offer any critical analysis of a heinous practice it revealed about major US airlines.
As to major law firms, since many of the editors and staff of the Ninth Amendment have had the displeasure of attending top law schools and working for big city law firms including in New York, Chicago, and San Francisco, the Ninth Amendment felt compelled to correct the misinformation promulgated by the Times that the two-tiered system is anything new. It has been around at least since the 1980's when Ninth Amendment editors and staff were at these firms.
Furthermore, the Times observation that a job at these firms is felt to be something near nirvana in the world of "business jobs" is so far off the mark we felt compelled to point out that in states such as California and New York, the Times merely needed to call the State Bars and learn that polls of big firm attorneys who do almost no real "pro bono" or "public interest" work reveal that most of them are about two steps away from hanging themselves they are so dissatisfied with their work.
As to the second digital article presented in the Times, it entirely failed to offer any critical observation whatsoever of its report that all major US airlines make NO provision for doctors on board, rely entirely on random passenger doctors' goodwill to save seriously ill other passengers, some of whom actually die. And that finally there are NO requirements as to the contents of any emergency medical kits kept on planes, so that doctors who volunteer under the risks of the so-called "Good Samaritan Rule" to come to the aid of other passengers have no idea whether they will find a very well-stocked medical emergency kit or one that has been outfitted with practically nothing or picked over so it merely contains perhaps a band-aid and an empty bottle of hydrogen peroxide.
Some doctor passengers actually help these multi-billion dollar major airline corporations out by carrying their OWN emergency kits knowing it is a total crap-shoot as to what the airline may have provided. The thought that these major corporations can put our lives in total jeopardy like this while everyone is supposedly being protected from "terrorists" is ludicrous and criminally negligent in our opinion. Pilots actually have no training in these circumstances and often ask the doctor, who may have a completely different specialty, to decide for them whether they should LAND THE PLANE!
Just see what happens when any one of us happens to ask the airline for a "favor" at the ticket counter, doctor or not, much less medical aid! Our readers know they will be treated rudely, unfairly, and if they are too difficult taken away in chains. Charity for airlines. Come on, New York Times, what a joke! Those full-page airline advertisements in the New York Times must buy the airlines just a "little something" when it comes to editorial content as the Times presents "All the News We Were Not Paid-Off Not to Print".
Cannot read our comments in those "Big City Papers" and learn the real scoop? Well that just means the Ninth Amendment will be expecting to welcome more visitors here when readers need the news fast, true, and uncompromised. Live the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. As always, in the spirit of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson. God Bless America!

Congressional Leaders Agree to Keep Key Unconstitutional Provisions of "Patriot" Act

Sunday, 22 May 2011 WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Ninth Amendment strongly discourages any readers from avoiding paying for UNLIMITED ACCESS TO THE NEW YORK TIMES DIGITAL EDITION SIMPLY BY SETTING THEIR FIREFOX BROWSERS TO "PRIVATE BROWSING". The New York Times management meanwhile in the past week expressed its satisfaction with the "success" of its multi-million dollar paywall in keeping readers from getting free "news" from the paper.
On a far more serious note in the past week key Democratic and Republican Congressional leaders as well as behind-the-scenes encouragement from the consistently hypocritical Obama White House stunned Americans who had relied on the Democratic Presidential and Congressional candidates to allow the totally Unconstitutional "Patriotic Act" (here called the "Death of the US Constitution Act") to lapse instead of actually endorsing the Bush Administration's Act's most illegal and offensive provisions to agree on EXTENDING them another four years.
It may be recalled that the so-called "Patriot Act" (so as to clearly imply that those who did not support it were not "patriotic") or rather the "Death of the US Constitution Act" literally was slipped past the United States Congress by the Bush White House (under orders from "acting President" Dick Cheney) in an absolutely heinous and illegal maneuver in a league with the Watergate break-in just on the heels of the 11 September 2001 "Terror Attacks".
Although the provisions of the Act had been worked out through legitimate processes in Congress in the days before the vote on the Act, the United States public is fully aware that in the early hours of the morning of the vote on the Act, the White House slipped a "new" unreviewed (by Congress) version of the "Act" into the chambers of Congress just minutes before the distribution of the final text and vote my Congress. With the ink on the pages of the several hundred page "Bill" still wet, and not one member of Congress having had any possible opportunity to read it, Congress in the hysteria of the moment merely voted on it unread and passed the Death of the Constitution Act overwhelmingly.
In the textbook example of "How a Bill is Not Born" even the criminals who slipped the forged draft into the chambers of Congress for an immediate vote saw fit to include "sunset provisions" in it realizing that after ten years pretty much everyone in the United States from the President to the least educated citizen would by 2011 realize that the document completely contradicted the spirit and mandates of the United States Constitution in literally thousands of places.
Now most sadly not only Democratic Congressional leaders who know better and most horribly President Obama and his administration themselves have actually endorsed the extension for years of the Death of the US Constitution Act. President Obama should be all the more shamed, and all the less re-elected in 2012, for making it clear that he knew better in the 2008 Presidential election, and he knows better now.
In yet another example of hypocritical actions that have piled up almost beyond count, President Obama essentially has once again after promised to remedy tragic Bush mistakes of the last Presidential Administration, yet has if anything fully embraced the horrible policies and acts of the preceding administration in doing his best to subject to the American people to "Bush Administration III- The Obama Years".
Did they miss the news? Osama bin Laden is dead. The US States Government never needed the powers of the Death of the US Constitution Act anyway with which to begin. They merely just needed to learn how to their jobs, like police work for example.
Finally, adding insult to injury, the Federal Bureau of Infestation (sic. "Investigation") now that it sees its multitude of Unconstitutional powers extending on up over the horizon and into the infinite, actually the into demise of the United States and all in which it believed just as the "terrorists" set them up, what do the now nearly unlimited powers of the United States Executive Branch and its multitude of "security" and "intelligence" agencies growing like a cancer do?
Well, of course, turn back to whom but.... the Unabomber. Re-open that Tylenol Poisoning case from more than a quarter-century go. And they told us they had urgent matters to which to attend to keep "the world safe for democracy", or at least full law-enforcement funding and employment for eternity. Now with all those new powers re-established and apparently not even a voice in the wilderness (like the haunted ghost of a Founding Father) to stop them, they can really bring all those powers to bear on the Unabomber in his cell. They may at least just have him make a phone call once in a while, go for a walk in the "yard", or scribble on a piece of paper to show that now they can do anything without a warrant, a tap, or any sort of restriction on "law enforcement" forever.
Perhaps should he still be able to hide to many secrets in his cell they could even ask for GREATER expansion of their powers under the Death to the United States Constitution Act, for after all, should anyone not immediately vote "yea" to an expansion of the Act, they must not be a "patriot", and that is something almost to horrible to think about. Perhaps an Obama candidate for indefinite detention in Guantanamo Bay without charges, without visitors, without lawyers, without the Red Cross, just the occasional recreational waterboarding in case there is, somewhere, somehow, that last little Tylenol pill sitting in a medicine cabinet waiting to wreak havoc on America and bring the whole empire crashing down.

DEA and Texas Medical Board Release Recipe for Feel-Good "Houston Cocktail"

Friday, 20 May 2011, HOUSTON - The Ninth Amendment still expects that readers are paying to READ THE NEW YORK TIMES WITHOUT MERELY BYPASSING ITS PAYWALL BY SIMPLY SETTING THEIR FIREFOX BROWSERS TO "PRIVATE BROWSING" which readers are discouraged from doing.
The Ninth Amendment only recently verfied that in fact it was none other than the Drug Enforcement Agency ("DEA") that earlier this year publicly released the necessary prescription ingrediants for the infamous "Houston Cocktail". The Cocktail is believed to have been the one first concocted and popularized by former "President" the "litttle shrub" Bush at shindigs on his ranch where Cocktail-crazed guests drove big pick-up trucks in circles.
As disseminated in a Texas Medical Board March 2011 news dispatch at special request of the DEA, the ingrediants to the "Houston Cocktail" were identified as hydrocodone, alprozolam, and carisoprodol. The Ninth Amendment cautions that it has no independent knowledge of the recommended proportions of the prescrition drugs in the DEA's "Houston Cocktail" or of its safety.
The Ninth Amendment further advises that in reporting the combination of ingrediants as consumed by what the DEA and/or Texas Medical Board call "wretched" Texans the Ninth Amendment in no way offers any medical advice whatsoever and most certainly does not condone the consumption of the DEA's "Houston Cocktail". Nor does the Ninth Amendment, it again emphasizes, including all of its editors and staff, espouse any knowledge whatsoever of the dangers consumption of this so-called "cocktail" may entail. For all the Ninth Amendment knows the dangers could range from "unauthorized euphoria" to death and any medical condition between the two.
If the DEA in its relentless strategy to remain at full employment decided to publicize the ingrediants of its "Houston Cocktail" and broadcast them including by means of articles planted in the Texas Medical Board's March 2011 news dispatch, the DEA would be an appropriate contact for health and any other questions  about the status of this preparation. This is not to the exclusion of any other health professionals including some chemists, doctors, nurses, the Poison Control Center and hospitals. The Ninth Amendment notes that the DEA is rumored to require that hydrocodone sold in the United States be combined including with acetominophen so as to destroy the livers of those who might take more than the DEA would like and thus discourage pain patients from doing this.

Insane US Supreme Court Issues Latest Fourth Amendment Opinion from Fantasyland

Thursday, 19 May 2011, WASHINGTON, D.C. -  The Ninth Amendment sincerely expects that readers are in no cases whatsoever even in "exigent circumstances" READING THE NEW YORK TIMES DIGITAL EDITION IN UNLIMITED AMOUNTS SIMPLY BY SETTING THEIR FIREFOX BROWSERS TO "PRIVATE BROWSING".
The Ninth Amendment wishes sincerely to thank the New York Times for directing readers to this site through the publication in its digital edition of numerous comments offered through members of the Ninth Amendment staff which refer to the address of this log ("blog" is not a word). In this post, the Ninth Amendment returns the favor by most highly recommending the Opinion piece entitled "Justice in Dreamland" by Linda Greenhouse dated Wednesday, 18 May 2011 in the New York Times.
We scarcely could have done a better job than Ms. Greenhouse in decimating the reasoning and legal basis of the United States Supreme Court's most recent (horribly dangerous) joke of a Fourth Amendment opinion issued earlier this week by the Court. The Justices who wrote and joined in this opinion must have come from another planet. They lack all understanding of human behavior as it is known on Earth.
Their fantasy descriptions of citizens' encounters with police demonstrate that they would have been much better suited to be science fiction writers than persons with any power over the lives of millions of American citizens. The Supreme Court has completely obliterated the Fourth Amendment in the past decades. Why are they even writing opinions about it any more, acting as if it even still existed to them?
It started with drugs, as Americans saw the Court chip exception after exception away at the Fourth Amendment right against unreasonable searches and seizures. The members of the Court who have joined in these opinions should be put out to pasture for completely ignoring one of the most important parts of the United States Constitution and a vital component of the Bill of Rights.
The Supreme Court obviously has become incapable of "legal analysis" that even passes the laugh test. Only this is no laughing matter. One day all these garbage opinions completely ignoring the obvious mandates of the Fourth Amendment will be used for ever-expanding purposes. It will not be such a light-hearted matter to these fascists as their full idiotic support of the phony "War on Drugs".
One day with a simple change made on a computer to scores of the Court's meritless opinions eviscerating the Fourth Amendment, the word "drugs" will be changed to "subversive papers" and "subversive" whatevers, and the United States so carefully crafted by the Founding Fathers in the miraculous words of the United States Constitution will cease to exist. The Justices will be some of the first to meet the masses as they descend on the marble palace the Justices inhabit and get a full taste of the Revolution first hand.

Former "President" George "little shrub" Bush Arrested in Texas for Attempted Manufacture of WMDs

Thursday, 19 May 2011, AUSTIN, TX - It goes without saying that the Ninth Amendment ABHORS THE CIRCUMVENTION OF THE NEW YORK TIMES "PAYWALL" SIMPLY BY SETTING ONE'S FIREFOX BROWSER TO "PRIVATE BROWSING" and thereby reading free unlimited material in the paper's digital publications.
The editors and staff of the Ninth Amendment would like to encourage readers as a matter exclusively of the Ninth Amendment's independent opinion to watch or watch again the movie "Fair Game" based on the true story of the Bush Administration's use of purposely bogus information supposedly provided by the CIA that Iraq in the past decade had developed Weapons of Mass Destruction ("WMDs"). These WMDs posed an entirely non-existent (in reality) threat to the United States or any other country for that matter largely since they did not exist. This fake scenario was presumably orchestrated by Dick ("Black Death" Blackwater) Cheney, Vice-President and foremost businessman who actually governed the United States largely through the CIA while Bush napped and smoked crack.
President George "little shrub" Bush, the black sheep of the Bush criminal clan, provided this totally untruthful information to the United States Congress and the American people in his "State of the Union" address which he learned from his teleprompter he was supposed to deliver yearly "by law and by custom". The United States subsequently demolished the country of Iraq and has had its troops and their families suffer on along with the Iraqi people trying to get out of the mess ever since.
President Bush later commuted the sentence of Scooter Libby (now believed to be living in a shack on the Bush Texas ranch under the assumed name of Looter Scibby) and Deputy Secretary of State Armitage admitted to exposing the name of former Ambassador Joe Wilson's wife Valerie as a CIA agent in order to get heat off the Bush Administration for fabricating the grounds for a war by lying to Congress and the American people. Bush then actually ordered the pre-emptive bombing of Baghdad with "precision" defense contractor bombs which missed all their targets. "President" Bush then sent in United States troops to invade and wreak havoc on Iraq.
In this Ninth Amendment exclusive report, the Ninth Amendment must follow the call of its duty and be the first to report to its readers that former "President" the "little shrub" Bush today reportedly was hauled off his ranch as he and Looter Scibby (formerly Scooter Libby) themselves were attempting to put the finishing touches on a Weapon of Mass Destruction ("WMD") of their own. They allegedly were reported by former criminal Vice-President Dick ("Black Death") Cheney who was angry that his contracting companies had been hauled into Court on yet more criminal charges of theft from the Defense Department by means of overcharging for services which they in fact never provided.
Mr. Armitage still angered over a reduced pension from his earlier misdeeds was reported today to have further leaked important details to local sheriff's deputies, game wardens and most of all Texas Rangers (who still were mad that the Feds bulldozed the Koresh crime scene in Waco)  that Mssrs. Bush and Scibby were in the final stages of tamping aluminum beer cans with what they believed to be plutonium from Niger.
Apparently former "President" the "little shrub" Bush intended to drop a WMD on Texas Governor Rick Perry from Bush's "Air Force Three" as Bush has been outraged since reading in Governor Perry's recent book "Fed Up" (available at Dollar Stores throughout Texas) that Perry thought Bush was even more of an idiot than Perry was when Bush was Governor of Texas and Perry was Lieutenant Governor. Mr. Perry also stated that he did not like Mr. Bush at all.
So far Mr. Perry's book has sold three copies, two to Mr. Perry for himself and his wife and one to Mr. Bush so he could continue learning to read. As he was hog-tied and dragged off in chains Mr. Bush apparently cried out for a "pardon" from Governor Perry until it was explained that he had not yet been convicted and would probably in any case be taken overseas by the Federal Government and tortured to death in a CIA prison.

NATO Night Raid Kills More Afghan Civilians Alienating Thousands of Civilians

Wednesday, 18 May 2011 - TALIQUN, AFGHANISTAN - We hope that you are paying your way and NOT STILL READING THE DIGITAL NEW YORK TIMES WITH YOUR FIREFOX BROWSER SET TO "PRIVATE BROWSING".
In an amazing follow-up to our recent posting regarding United States' night killings of children and then further civilian killings that alienated an entire remote village in Afghanistan, NATO now has picked up the cue on a grand scale and in just a day alienated thousands more Afghans with a night raid in Taliqun northern Afghanistan that locals say killed four civilians including a religious scholar. NATO claims that those killed were in fact terrorists.
Past investigations of NATO actions which locals have claimed killed civilians but NATO maintains killed terrorists have painstakingly been proven to indeed have killed civilians and not terrorists. NATO has adopted the approach of maintaining it is killing terrorists even in the face of strong evidence to the contrary. This approach most recently succeeded in alienating thousands of now armed Afghan civilians who confronted NATO yesterday after its most recent night raid.
In a curious twist perhaps to the United States much-heralded "hearts and minds" approach in Vietnam which eventually contributed to the United States complete defeat there, the US and NATO now apparently have developed and expanded it in not only Afghanistan and Libya by killing all manner of innocent children, women, religious men and others who have nothing to do with the conflicts in which the US and NATO apparently believe they will succeed.
As we now have learned of thousands of Afghans yesterday attacking a NATO base outside Taliqun and confronting US, NATO, Afghan military and law enforcement with weapons including axes, grenades and AK-47's, it would seem apparent that many local "hearts and minds" have certainly been persuaded in Afghanistan. The question remains if the night raids and other actions now being bitterly opposed by the Karzai administration and Afghan population will escalate in an atmosphere of complete deniability of horrendous errors being made killing the population which supposedly is being saved.
The theory has been introduced by the Ninth Amendment that the "new" approach to "hearts and minds" may in fact be rather than to win them over, to kill them all while claiming they are being saved. In the end, with all the population EXCEPT the terrorists having been killed, then it should be much easier to identify, target and kill them as they will be the only ones who have been left standing.

US and NATO Forces Spent a Busy Week Killing Children, Religious Men, Civilians and "Friendly" Solidiers and Families Around the Globe

Monday, 16 May 2011, ABOARD THE USS CARL VINSON - We absolutely unequivocally hope and expect that our gentle readers are not neglecting the New York Times investment accounts by NOT PAYING TO READ THE DIGITAL NEW YORK TIMES BUT BYPASSING ITS MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR PAYWALL WITH YOUR FIREFOX BROWSER SET TO "PRIVATE BROWSING". Do not do that.
The Ninth Amendment must sincerely apologize for leaving our readers without our unbiased and all-encompassing daily news (North, East, South, West) reports for some days this past week. We were surprised recently to be contacted by the White House and invited to join President Obama's "A-Team" Press Corps in the "Situation Room" at the White House.
Without further disclosure we were unable to set aside the time for this kind invitation suspecting that most likely it involved some kind of basketball game with the President. As most of you probably know by now, unfortunately we missed the opportunity to join the President and his close friends eat pizza and chips as they watched Osama bin Laden's alleged assassination on live big-screen plasma TV with super surround-sound.
As a matter of protocol we did later agree to join the President on the U.S.S. Carl Vinson to admire the place the Navy Seals dumped his body after murdering him and tossing his body overboard (in international waters) described as a "respectful religious ceremony" consistent with Mr. bid Laden's last wishes.
In any case, after a few minutes break, the United States armed forces and NATO immediately resumed bombing Libyan children, civilians, and religious figures. Meanwhile back in Pakistan the Parliament of which was bellyaching about its "National Sovereignty" being violated by the United States in the unnoticed (to the Pakistani government) assassination of Osama bin Laden deep in Pakistan's territory, the CIA and other "military intelligence" outfits soon escalated the dramatically increasing sending of missile-laden "drones" into Pakistan to blow up other terrorists or anyway at least blow up people, buildings, animals and whatever else might or might not be somewhere in their vicinity.
Perhaps most exciting in last week's continued US "special forces" and NATO escalating attacks in formally peaceful opium-growing Eastern Afghanistan, they started the week off by the nighttime killing of a twelve-year-old Afghan girl and her uncle, a member of the Afghan National Police. Apparently emboldened by the ease with which they now too can completely miss their Taliban targets but instead kill local youths and Afghan allies, later in the week American forces killed a fifteen-year-old boy (the son of an Afghan National Army soldier) as the youth slept in a field.
In this incredibly effective work of NATO and American forces winning the "Hearts and Minds" of the Afghan people, the following day 200 members of the small, isolated Afghan village of Narra where the boy lived carried the youth's body in protest toward the Hesarek Government Center. As they shouted anti-American slogans and threatened to attack local police, including throwing rocks at them, the local Afghan police responded by "opening fire" on their local citizens.
The police fired "warning shots" which killed a fourteen-year-old boy and at least one local Afghan man. As NATO and American regular military, special forces, CIA and reportedly paid "Black Death Contractors" continue their incredibly effective work "making the world safe for democracy", the Ninth Amendment shall do its best to keep our loyal readers abreast of all important further developments wherever somewhat effective attacks succeed in killing innocent children, religious people, civilians, local friendly forces and their families, alienating most of the people on the planet, and occasionally even maybe even killing a terrorist (as their actions create ten more) in the heap of carnage being wrought upon the world.
On a final note, strictly due to limitations on the abilities of our staff to keep you informed accurately and fully on news wherever it may happen, the Ninth Amendment reluctantly has decided it must conditionally decline President Obama's kind offer to include this log on the President's press "A-Team". As soon as we are able to get off the U.S.S. Carl Vinson we have declined to attend a classified briefing on "Lethal Surveillance Teams", reportedly President Obama (the man who gave you everything for which you voted) and the CIA's newest 21st Century terminology for what were once known as "CIA hitmen".

FDA Starts New Trend of Losing Legal Drug Cases Over Which It Has No Jurisdiction

Thursday, 12 May 2011, WASHINGTON, D.C. - We sure hope that you are not still reading the DIGITAL NEW YORK TIMES FOR FREE WITH A FIREFOX BROWSER SET TO "PRIVATE BROWSING". That would be bad, and you should not do it, well, just because.
The Ninth Amendment is truly thrilled that the Glaxo-etc.drug company lawyer got off just maybe for lying to the FDA and selling drugs that do not do what the drug company says they will. We have read the whole United States Constitution, and it does not say anything about the Government not allowing people to sell whatever prescription, "illegal", or whatever kind of drugs people want to buy after they see those TV ads.
That is why our log ("blog" is NOT a word) is called the "Ninth Amendment". Read it. Please. The Supreme Court simply has ignored this most important one of the Bill of Rights the plain text of which makes perfectly clear that the Government does not have any of this power unless it is specifically delineated in the Constitution.
The Founding Fathers obviously meant the Ninth Amendment (originally one of the proposed thirteen Bill of Rights, but three did not pass) to preserve an enormous amount of retained power and rights in the people of the colonies now known as the United States. The DEA, FDA and all those other phony "War on Drugs" outfits have No mandate whatsoever under the Constitution to mess with our "pursuit of happiness".
The Founding Fathers intentionally put this "pursuit of happiness" right at the beginning of the Constitution in the Preamble because obviously it was extremely and most important that OUR new Government not mess with us as the decadent English empire had before the Revolution.
Come on, it just is plain wrong distorting the Commerce Clause to let Congress do whatever it wants while meanwhile the CIA and the DEA are the biggest drug dealers in the world, and the Executive Branch has run entirely amok imprisoning, torturing, assassinating, murdering and committing genocide wherever it wants to on the planet. The worst offenders of all International Law right up through bin Laden's murder watched from the comfort of the big White House television sitting with President Obama.
This obviously violates together with the United States' other heinous actions to make us the worst human rights violators the world has ever known with no respect whatsoever for domestic, international or any other law, not to mention you would think we never even had heard of "national sovereignty" and any kind of due process whatsoever.
We make the British Empire at the time of the American Revolution look like angels. The Ninth Amendment has no doubt that the Founding Fathers would all be terrorists themselves now because the United States has turned out to be such a horribly disgraceful blight on the world. Come on and face the truth. Send people around the world food, medicine and humanitarian aid.
Drop the BS with which the military-industrial-think tank complex has bought off our whole Congress just so it can keep making nastier and nastier weapons that forever keep costing this country more wasted resources funded by the hapless American taxpayers who must fund this WAR MACHINE until we are trillions of dollars in debt. So this is buying us security?
The defense contractors so-called "state of the art" garbage such as "smart" and "precision" bombs are nothing but a crock of lies and theft from the United States Government.. Do not send non-violent drug people to stand trial and rot in jail. That is where the defense contractors belong with their bogus weapons that do not work and kill innocent civilians, children, teachers, etc., while the "Defense Industry" drives us into the poor house and makes us hated the world over. Then for good measure give them an extra life sentence for bribery and treason and be sure they spend the rest of their natural lives in prisons for America's REAL ENEMIES.
The Ninth Amendment has no doubt that George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and all the other Founding Fathers who grew and smoked cannabis, or whatever drugs they wished, would be absolutely appalled at what their Constitution of unparalleled brilliance has been distorted into in these times without it even being seriously questioned.
Right now is the time we help the world and take the great and immense responsibility which we inherited in the wake of World War II. What, did everyone miss former General and later President Dwight D. Eisenhower's farewell address from the White House? He was not spending his final days as President downstairs in the White House watching the United States murder people on the other side of the world. See the truth for what it is, and God Bless America!
If readers need even more obvious truth than this, great! Then just keep reading our "Ninth Amendment" log at www.waronnothing.blogspot.com. and see that it is not nearly as complicated as they would have you believe. Simply let the Earth become the Paradise that God intended it to be.

New York Times Overlooks Sarah Palin's Ignorance in Tribute to Her "Humanity"

Wednesday, 11 May 2011, THE LAST FRONTIER - Are you people seriously writing about the same "Sarah Palin" who ran for Republican Vice-President in 2008 with John McCain? You sincerely have some concern that the media and/or public stereotyped her as an idiot whom you earnestly describe as having had her more human qualities overlooked?
Now you bemoan that perhaps she only can become something like a "right-wing radio host" and not fully live up to her national potential apparently leading this Country perhaps in some top executive or other office, maybe being Secretary General of the United Nations, Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court, or the President of Yale University ("luxury and vanity") where alleged former "President" George "little shrub" Bush apparently received his diploma, certificate, or whatever it was they gave him to frame.
This woman's human qualities maybe have been "overlooked" because she cannot even speak English but makes up her own words as she compares herself to some Great Americans who allegedly at one time did the same thing. If they did, we suspect they knew what words they were manipulating and why. Unfortunately Ms. Palin does not even know she is making up words.
The Ninth Amendment believes she is very lucky indeed to even have a job, including having been Governor of "Her" Alaska, and now consider the possibility of speaking by radio broadcast over the public airwaves where she can only serve to even more greatly spread her ignorance and inability to speak English to all Americans including children.
Although generally we prefer blondes (no offense to beautiful dark-haired women), we have heard Ms. Palin is quite attractive to some men, maybe women, and we are sure having lived in Alaska (alas not "her Alaska") that there are some bears who also would like to eat her. Anyway, my point is the answer is obvious. We do not watch television except generally under extreme duress but We have heard there is a "terrific" (maybe) newer TV network owned by that international crook and political manipulator Rupert Murdoch called FOX that includes "FOX News".
Actually we believe we have heard it is garbage but while she is still looking good to many men and maybe some others, how about having Sarah Palin star on that FOX News? Now there's a job where she would not need to know how to speak English exactly, not know anything about the real facts of the world, and she could get to show that poor obscured human side? Then she could just dance on over with it to one of those other great FOX shows. Yeah!

Dirt Cheap Vacations Now! "Axis of Evil" Countries, Central Asia, Middle East and Mexico on Less Than $1 a Day!

Wednesday, 11 May 2011, ACAPULCO - Holidays on a thread! The Ninth Amendment absolutely insists that you NEVER READ THE DIGITAL NEW YORK TIMES FOR FREE WITH YOUR FIREFOX BROWSER SET ON "PRIVATE BROWSING". Click on the following link for an original unedited (obviously) commentary published today by BigMartin  regarding American hikers infamously held indefinitely in an Iran prison.
The Ninth Amendment hopes and prays that hikers Josh and Shane stay in good health and are out of that nasty Iran country as soon as possible. We maintain that the Iranian imprisonment of these errant hikers is very bad for the hikers, their families and loved ones psychologically and otherwise, unlike imprisonment of innocent people in the United States which is known only to rehabilitate them even if they did not do anything wrong. (Unless they are executed by mistake by the State first).
Nor will this kind of official behavior help Iranian tourism (at least by most Americans) one bit. Even if "experts" say "Any publicity is good publicity", the editorial staff here seriously doubts that in this case. The Iranians are going to have to cough up the big (we mean BIG) money for some really expensive Super Bowl and Olympic commercials that make Iran look more fun. Iran may even have to put out the mega-bucks for easily about the cost of a top-notch Republican Presidential Campaign, if it wishes to turn this kind of current publicity disaster on its head and make Iran look friendly and safe for US and other visitors.
The Iranians seem kind of like the North Koreans in this regard -- they both just have not invested at all in good public relations for those big consumer tourism bucks, especially from places like the US and other First World countries. Furthermore our devoted staff no longer believes that now even the Chinese really wish to vacation in North Korea anymore since the North Koreans have become even more unpredictable maniacs.
Anyway as to Iran these unfortunate hikers definitely do not look like CIA, Special Forces or anyone even remotely like that in newspaper photos. On the other hand, should some readers really be dying to visit Iran and not just "drop in" accidentally due to a lousy map or broken GPS, the Ninth Amendment staff strongly advises waiting until countries like Iran calm down and get over that President Bush called Iran part of the "Axis of Evil" because some DC think-tank told Dick Cheney to have Bush read it from his teleprompter.
Better yet wait until after the next CIA-orchestrated coup for a true-to-life tourist sojourn to Iran once the CIA returns after it runs out of other places to screw up. Try to avoid the periods of "blowback" when the countries such as Iran hate the US for the next half-century, but nobody here in the US except the CIA has any idea at all why.
It might simply be because someone at the CIA's "Iran Desk" got into work late one day. Meanwhile the CIA then missed something fairly important that was building up, say perhaps maybe the imminent violent overthrow of the US Embassy in Tehran. Followed then by the Ayatollah Khomeini taking power.
Please keep reading the "Ninth Amendment" for much more valuable information here on recommended global travel and adventure spots coordinated with up-to-the-minute analysis of the CIA's latest "operations".  Readers do not want the CIA to ruin THEIR whole vacation, too, with just some other nasty botched CIA "blowback" that can only leave the average US citizen wondering "But why do the people here hate me so? And why are all the men in black suits leaving hanging from the bottom of helicopters".
Nor do you want to find out the hard way that tortured bodies hanging from highway overpass bridges going into Acapulco also could put a really big damper on your dream honeymoon. Listen at your peril to what the State Department for some unknown reason advises you, such as definitely to avoid places like Martha's Vineyard and Canada, yet "feel secure" that Mexico is "very safe" especially driving late at night.
Be safe, get it right, get it straight, and read the REAL latest travel guides. Share also in firsthand current situation information from those who have been there.  Meanwhile the worldwide newsbureaus of the Ninth Amendment at www.waronnothing.blogspot.com will keep you up on the real news that you need to know to avoid nasty surprises. And remember Douglas Adams "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe" admonition. Do NOT forget your towel, and by all means DON'T PANIC!

Bin Laden's Last Minutes Definitively Revealed in Ninth Amendment "Scoop"

Wednesay, 11 May 2011, ISLAMABAD - We at the Ninth Amendment sincerely and earnestly hope that you are NOT STILL READING THE NEW YORK TIMES BY CIRCUMVENTING ITS "PAYWALL" SIMPLY WITH YOUR FIREFOX BROWSER SET TO "PRIVATE BROWSING'. In any case the Times has looked a little sparse on the real news lately spending its time chasing around with FOX and the others after whatever made up bin Laden story someone tells in the last five minutes.
Yes, by now we ALL have heard how President Obama astutely noted that it is "dark at night" and even a super-trained group of Navy SEALS typically takes about five years to get any story straight. After all shooting bin Laden once in the head and once in the stomach, and shooting his wife in the leg who may or may not have been coming at them with a hairbrush was probably traumatic even if they did have flashlights.
Anyway, our Abbotabad, Pakistan news bureau has picked up the real story from a satellite TV guy who the SEALs missed but was hooking up pirated satellite TV (another crime bin Laden could have been prosecuted for if we had not killed him) through bin Laden's closet at the time of the big assault. So for about the price of a beer, the guy gave us the true "scoop".
As President Obama comfortably watched on his state-of-the-art big flat TV from his luxury swivel adjustable black leather chair, he of course got to watch the whole bin Laden murder upfold from the security and convenience of the White House "Situation Room" or "War Room" or Wing or whatever they call it.
Well, it turns out if you look halfway carefully at your paper or TV, you can see that AT THE SAME TIME President Obama and all his friends were watching bin Laden get assassinated, bin Laden himself was switching between President Obama and himself bin Laden (while the SEALS spent a couple hours figuring out how to get upstairs) on HIS bin Laden's crummy little TV with the VCR hooked up all funny. It looked like bin Laden did not have as many friends over as President Obama did to watch TV at the White House, but on the other hand bin Laden probably had his three wives right nearby doing who knows what, and President Obama only had one..
The irony of the straight facts sometimes is almost too true to digest all at once, at least for the New York Times, but you can also come on over to the Ninth American site anytime and are welcome to share the real news with us. We have got you covered!

Pakistan Blows Cover of CIA Pakistan Station Chief - NY Times Afraid to Print

Monday, 9 May 2011, ISLAMABAD - We certainly hope you are NOT READING THE NEW YORK TIMES WITHOUT PAYING THE DIGITAL SUBSCRIPTION FEE SIMPLY BY SETTING YOUR FIREFOX BROWSER TO "PRIVATE BROWSING" AND THUS CIRCUMVENTING THE TIMES MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR "PAYWALL". Do not do that!
The Ninth Amendment editorial staff apologizes for the recent absence of current postings here. This log ("blog" is not a word) is pleased to inform our committed readers that the Ninth Amendment is back to provide readers with timely reports of the actual truth regarding international, national, state, local (and Texas) news (North, East, West, South) as it cuts through the smokescreen thrown up by your government and media (should you live in the United States) to help keep you on track for the truth. Also occasionally the Ninth Amendment will pass on useful information as to how to avoid living on the "grid" while raising your standard of living without working harder for the war machine.
The editorial staff has been consumed with maintaining a more or less "around-the-clock" watch on the alleged Osama bin Laden luxury mansion in Abbotabad, Pakistan from its "safe house" while also maintaining a watch on the CIA "safe house" as the CIA "safe house" keeps an eye on the bin Laden house. This has been very costly although unlike the CIA the Ninth Amendment has not had to approach Congress for millions of dollars in emergency funding because the Ninth Amendment took in roommates.
The Ninth Amendment did notice on several occasions that Pakistan's Prime Minister, Chief of the ISI, and top Army Generals did visit bin Laden's house as the CIA team apparently slept after heavy nights of drinking and/or heroin use. Both the CIA "safe house" and bin Laden compound "hideout" have been observed frequently to order pizza and call girls. The Ninth Amendment staff immediately realized something was amiss when United States helicopters began landing in the bin Laden compound courtyard as bin Laden watched his favorite re-runs of himself on his poorly hooked-up TV.
Naturally, after assassinating him and shooting his wife in the leg for calling them "Pigs" and "smelly", the United States SEAL people next violated international law by allegedly whisking bin Laden's body to Afghanistan before allegedly dumping his body at sea to "observe his religious preferences" and to avoid anyone actually being able to perform a forensic investigation that might reveal any true facts of his murder.
Surprisingly to the United States, the Pakistanis were "upset" over the incident just miles from Pakistan's capital, and Pakistan sent two F-16's which Pakistan had bought from the United States military-industrial complex with money the United States had given them to buy them from the United States. Unfortunately, the SEAL people had already made off with the body allegedly to Afghanistan by the time the Pakistani F-16's arrived twenty minutes later. The Pakistanis reportedly had a difficult time trying to land the F-16's in bin Laden's yard anyway.
Now our breaking news -- Pakistan's Prime Minister for the second time since last December has blown the cover of the CIA's "Station Chief" (i.e. Head of illegal imprisonment, torture, violation of national sovereignty, assassination, mass murder, and other "CIA dirty tricks" available in PDF for free by Google search). U.S. officials were astounded that this past week's United States' assassination of the unarmed Osama bin Laden and the gratuitous shooting in the leg of his wife as he watched videotapes of himself in Abbotabad, Pakistan while President Obama watched on White House TV would irritate Pakistani's government, military, and dreaded Inter Services Intelligence ("ISI").
The New York Times today declined to print the now revealed name of the CIA Station Chief in Pakistan who reportedly refuses to leave the country unlike his exposed predecessor last December. Apparently he would rather spend the remainder of his time in the United States' "diplomatic" criminal "intelligence" service in Pakistan hiding and running for his life, so as to get extra "hazardous duty" pay. The New York Times stated its policy generally "not" to reveal the names of overseas United States "intelligence operatives" because despite the Times' masthead claim to deliver "All the News That's Fit to Print" the actual mandate of the Times is to deliver "All the News That Our Handlers Allow or Tell Us to Print" and is "Okay With Our Advertisers".
Should readers wish actually to figure out the news themselves, such as the newly revealed name of the CIA Station Chief in Pakistan, readers might search for starters on Google or a favorite search engine for "CIA Pakistan Station Chief" which probably would reveal this closely-held secret. Stay tuned here for news of the "actual" contents of the bin Laden household, reportedly soon to be on public view in the Smithsonian Museum "CIA Wing" behind the "Bay of Pigs" interactive display. Sources report the display will include a photo of bin Laden receiving a runner-up award for his "Tango" performance with former Vice-President Dick Cheney at "Dancing With the Stars Night" on a portable dance floor outside bin Laden's one-time mountaintop cave in Afghanistan now converted into luxury condos with a heart-shaped pool and waterfall.
