Airliner Hacker Hysteria Years-Old Story Planted By FBI Site "Airline Notice" On Day Of Expected Congress Cybersecurity Vote For Internet Militarization

Thursday, 23 April 2015, WASHINGTON, D.C. - It comes as no surprise to the Ninth Amendment and readers of its recent posts which include the "Internet 'Militarization' Threat" post here of last Sunday, 19 April 2015 that the U.S. Government right on schedule yesterday on the expected day of the full Congressional House on the so-called "cybersecurity" bill vote eagerly awaited by corporate U.S. business to be "immunized" and the U.S. civilian and military "intelligence" community potentially greatly (legally) to expand its surveillance of and amassing of untold further amounts of private consumer information already largely compromised as revealed by Edward Snowden and others as to the NSA, took the occasion to fan public hysteria over alleged "cyberthreats" including the apparently recently coined "cyberjihad" most directly through the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) yesterday posting on the FBI's previously unknown "private airliner notification" feature of its FBI website nevertheless available for all to see and dutifully picked up by the media as in the BBC Technology News article linked to below a warning that airliner onboard wi-fi systems "might theoretically" be compromised by a hacker. This is by no means even remotely breaking but more along the lines of archival "news" if that noun even is appropriate.
Any report of a notice from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) which regulates the airline industry also has been oddly absent from news reports. In any case the FBI notice advised airlines to perform reports and reviews concerning listed "suspicious activity" that airlines presumably already would be doing since "[a]irline experts have warned for years that airlines are a potential target for hackers". The reason for the notice and suspected apparent attempt to further fan immediate public hysteria about "cyberthreats" on the day of the Congressional "cybersecurity" bill vote was implied to be tied to a virtual non-incident concerning an onboard United Airlines "tweet" last week by private security expert Chris Roberts making a joke in which he "suggested that he might be able to deploy the oxygen masks on the flight".
The media dutifully has greatly expanded on this incident reported right on schedule that "[a] terrorist theoretically could take over systems that fly a plane by compromising equipment at their seat". However the report also notes that "[t]he FBI and the Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) (ed. note - which TSA perhaps is best known for its agents knowingly having allowed passengers to take guns and suitcases of illegal drugs aboard planes for cash and small gifts and more recently allegedly for 'groping' passengers) said they had no information to support claims a plane's information system could be interfered [sic] via its onboard wi-fi kit, but they were evaluating the evidence". Hopefully the FBI and TSA (not to mention the FAA and other federal agencies) have already been "evaluating" the hypothetical threat for some time as Mr. Roberts previously has given multiple public interviews including on CNN expressing his concerns (and presumably publicizing his private security company) in which he already "explained" weak points in airliners stating that one might conceivably hook up a computer under one's seat to "monitor" data from three of the onboard airline systems.
Whatever the case Mr. Roberts co-founder of private security company One World Labs following the perpetration of his "tweet" last week was questioned by the FBI which "seized" his laptop computer and unidentified other devices (see previous Ninth Amendment posts for information on the very remote chance of getting back any "seized" items and cash from the government). United Airlines subsequently denied Mr. Roberts boarding to his flight to Seattle and banned him from all United flights so he now in punishment will need to travel by air on another airline.
Following last week's Mr. Roberts "tweet" incident security expert Bruce Schneier had explained " [t]he risk is a hacker sitting in the back of a plane, or even one on the ground, could use the wi-fi connection to hack into the plane's avionics and then fly the plane". He went on the the explain that no vulnerabilities to hackers were "currently" known but noted that such an attack was "theoretically possible" as all networks were "inherently insecure". Most significantly news reports rather downplayed that Mr. Schneier finally "added" that "[i]n the scheme of internet risks I worry about, its not very high".
History would strongly suggest that the federal government (the State) here seized on the opportunity to take the occasion yesterday of the expected Congressional vote on the rushed through committee "cybersecurity" bill unconscionably to fan public fear and manipulate the People of this country over an apparent businessman's publicity stunt using an unjustified extraordinary action by the FBI and TSA (of all agencies) that could only serve needlessly to fan public hysteria over some specific remote act of "terrorism" when there undoubtedly are more pressing concerns at hand which this type of action can only serve dangerously to discount.
It is well worth and in fact extremely important to recall at such times that from likely centuries before the time of the "Gulf of Tonkin" Congressional resolution over a totally phony incident which nevertheless drew the U.S. into the years-long nightmarish quagmire of what the military officially terms the "Vietnam conflict" since no war ever constitutionally has been declared since WWII up to and doubtless even beyond the known exploitation of public and even lawmakers' hysteria over the more recent extraordinary horrors of the 9/11 attacks and complicating subsequent anthrax scares which even had extended to the Capitol building all of which lead directly to the surreal passage of the blatantly unconstitutional last-minute ink still wet on the page unreviewed by Congress dangerously rambling laundry wish list of the illegitimate Bush Administration's worst civil liberties nightmares come true cynically misnamed "Patriot Act" that the State will exploit public fears and even create them and fan subsequent hysteria to achieve approval of extraordinary powers for the State to which it is not entitled under the U.S. Constitution and which the People in more reasoned times would not even purport to grant to the State when under the existing text of the Constitution the powers are not legitimate and therefore invalid and void as a competent U.S. Supreme Court should recognize as its sacrosanct duty under our system of government.
In conclusion the so-called "cybersecurity" bill appears entirely objectionable on its face and in any case must be subjected to much more widespread public scrutiny than some behind-closed-doors deal between the Obama White House and Republican congresspersons before its passage by the Senate and signing into law by the President and as for the filthy piece of trash advanced by individuals who no longer even support its interpretations said to justify State abuses abhorrent to all founding principles of this republic the misnamed "Patriot Act" President Obama must not yet again betray his supporters who believed in and elected him by his once again routinely rubber-stamping out "sunset" provisions of this Bush Administration rotten legacy but on 1 June 2015 it is well past the time President Obama must allow the obviously unconstitutional and widely misused Section 215 and other provisions of the repulsive misnamed "Patriot Act" set to expire to lapse back into oblivion and most certainly not abdicate his duty only to relinquish this power to make such a critical decision to the following presidential administration.

Saturday, 21 June 2014, MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA - Another workday dawns at 1600 hours West Coast time for the hard-working Google former grade-school hackers turned gainfully employed computer specialists, social media provocateurs, disinformation statisticians, airwave toxicologists (why not?), national security analysts  and others desperately speed dialing, tapping into phone lines and/or drone eavesdropping on the VIP rooms of last evening all-night rave clubs to casually inquire if they might locate that prototype "Summer of Love"  necklace they accidentally wore home featuring the new microcomputer application and style statement cabinetry that Google was under contract to build for the CIA to turn those Androids disguised as love beads into combination antibiotic-sickened farm animal video games with TrueSmell,military-grade GPS drone "Swing Low Sweet Chariot" targeting systems, tiny little decapitation "Peace Sign" grenade beads, high-end MP3 players with professional quality headphones featuring improved Dr. Dre SuperBeatBass now producing sound out of both the left and right channels simultaneously, and of course pirated Samsung smartypantsphones with Google satellite-quality cameras and  Walgreen's long-range SuperSnoop microphones for HackerChat all of which is designed to blow up in a "smallish" simulated pyrotechnical explosion capable of leveling one square city block down to a depth of 300 feet beneath Manhattan's granite bedrock if not recovered and disarmed (important "two-step" bothersome but important "two-step" verification required) by Google child geniuses within twelve hours of reported "MOP" (misplacement of prototype) but if not featuring minimal collateral damage by first playing the chorus of the Village People's "Y-M-C-A" amplified at roughly the decibel level of the area behind an unpiloted F-35's (because all fighter pilots refuse to fly them as pilots stubbornly insist that flying while unconscious is inherently unsafe) jet engine firing up for lift-off from the George Herbert Walker Bush aircraft carrier.
Then sometime after all those loose ends are tied up from the previous "day's" activities some intern might be sent to read the bloggers, website owners and that crowd's usual couple million worldwide complaints about "known issues" and try a quick "workaround" until it is time for the gang to head off to the next houseparty. In any case the Ninth Amendment is not presently in a position to determine if statistics as graphed above have any basis in reality whatever that is, but as their somewhat obvious irregular rhythms have come to characterize Google's daily reported statistics for the site the Ninth Amendment Editorial Board has developed a certain amount of curiosity as to whether others may be having similar experiences with Google as late and if so wishes to encourage them to lay it on that "Send feedback" to Google invitation at the bottom of the screen..

New Zealand Government Conspirators Persist Criminal Interference, Stalking, Hacking, Harassment, Identity Theft, Civil Rights, Environmental, Other International, Federal, State Legal Abuses

Saturday, 5 April 2014, AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND - Criminal acts against and/or directed at the Ninth Amendment and individuals associated with it of which appropriate authorities are aware continue despite this site's recent post that coverage of New Zealand individuals' and entities' criminal actions and endemic corruption currently were being curtailed due to the Ninth Amendment's need to preserve resources for other reporting.
Most recent evidence of which appropriate authorities have been advised have been the appearance in Google's security information of site access from another IP address not known to be lawfully associated with this site identified by Google as IP 184.6.251.66 showing the geographical address of 448 Florida 20, Tallahassee, FL identified approximately by Google and showing images of the Florida Historical Capitol Museum.
Further factual information of which the Ninth Amendment is aware and has communicated is that normally appearing referring sites and URL's largely identified as being associated with Google and entities such as The New York Times have disappeared showing instead referring site www.voltaa.com:888:/cyberpu. . . . and URL as http://www.voltaa.com/users/sign_in. This URL on the computer screen showing at its address reads: "Slurry Factory Application copyright Hacksurfer" with a log-in box below required username and password. Since the first publication of this post the above addresses now show the above changed and/or corrected partly by the Ninth Amendment to the above as referring site www.voltaa.com:888 and the URL as http://www.voltaa.com:888/cyberpu....
The Ninth Amendment greatly appreciates the continued support of all legitimate and well-intentioned Ninth Amendment readers and appropriate authorities including those investigating criminal acts associated with actions by all persons or entities conspiring to, attempting to, possessing knowledge of in advance or after, and actually committng acts directed at and/or impacting this site and and/or New Zealand private and public corruption previously identified by this site. The Ninth Amendment particularly expresses its gratitude to individuals associated with legitimate law enforcement authorities and/or in a position to communicate information assisting them and actually doing so as to the above-referenced and any related matters identified here and/or not yet identified here.

Welcome Aboard New Zealand! From The Ninth Amendment All Americans McMurdo Naval Air Station And The Pacific Territories

Sunday, 24 January 2014, McMURDO NAVAL AIR STATION AND LANDFILL - With Ninth Amendment readers now spanning most of the Northern Hemisphere and especially American diplomatic, military and National Security facilities it is most always a pleasure to welcome new readers from new countries and parts of the world seeking the truth whether it hails from North, East, West, or, yes, South. For reasons of prudence our long-time readers will know that when unfamiliar servers, countries and IP addresses not known to us to be associated with our blogging friends at Google and their CIA partners make themselves apparent to our military-trained IT and cryptography specialists it is our habit to share some of that new information available to those of our readers who may be interested.
Some of the newest countries purportedly to have joined us have been the United Arab Emirates and as noted in the above "Welcome" the formerly reputedly pastoral country of New Zealand (believed by those who have never been there or off the tourist bus nor ferry in any case, to be one of the least governmentally corrupt countries in the world along with Canada. Ahem.
That new provided server IP address 184.105.8293 (IPV4 more likely IPV5) apparently serving us intermittently since at least 13 October 2013 is not, in fact, in good old Mountain View, California but instead identifies its location as, yes, the United Arab Emirates running through Chrome 11.0 on a Linux platform.
In any case as we like to say the BAMA-OBAMA-SAS-CIA-NSA-MI5 Do It Again, Babe! Misinformation-Disinformation Shuffle it is all the same to us so long as the truth reaches our readers (even if the demographics may confuse our advertisers a bit). GOD BLESS AMERICA and GOD SAVE THE QUEEN.
And now finally a few questions for our newcomers to ponder whom we always like to give a big New Jersey-style Goodfella welcome, just like Lufthansa did. It is a small world after all.

1. Was the United States moon landing staged?
2. Who pitched a perfect National League Baseball game while on LSD?
3. Who was the Soviet called "The Guy Who Saved The World" by the head of the US military archives?
4. Have you had a spouse die in bed in the past couple years while out at a party?
5. What is the Law Against Perpetuities?
6. Should you be in maximum security prison would you prefer living in the "general population" or the SHU?
7. Do you ever feel you are on "The Dark Side of the Moon" (copyright Pink Floyd) and never returning?
8. Why do United States Air Calvary troops sit on their helmets while their helicopters are in flight?
9. What Governor of Texas shot a coyote with a laser-sighted six-shooter carried in his running shorts?
10. Do you think the NSA should watch your daughter get dressed for college, her wedding, your funeral?
BONUS QUESTION: Please explain why time goes backward when you go faster than the speed of light?

And may we never forget Harvard genius mathematics professor and songwriter Tom Lehrer (copyright):

OEDIPUS REX

Oedipus Rex, oh, Oedipus Rex
He had quite a complex complex

And when he found out what he'd done
He tore his eyes out one by one

A tragic end for a loyal son
Who loved his mother!

"Thin Slicing", Necessity To Write, Your Top Public Servants In Congress Vie To Paralyze Government

Thursday, 27 September 2013, WASHINGTON, DC - The Ninth Amendment Log editorial board recently was pleased to find itself with a thin slice* of free time with digital enthusiasm still growing, even if not necessarily reflected in ability. The dictates of writing emphasizing constantly to the editorial board that this craft unequivocally must have its time for reflection away from the constant demands of continuing publication of this living "tribute" ostensibly to Dr. Hunter S. Thompson.* Blink copyright 2005 Malcolm Gladwell is a fascinating compilation of brief examinations of situations in which literally just a "thin slice" (not really cutting into the brain!) of information in our own and sometimes in experts which enables us to predict human behavior even when provided with astonishingly little information. (As in a college professor who has distilled the work of examining married mail-female couples to the point that by just eavesdropping for a few seconds on a neighboring conversation at a restaurant he can predict to something like 95% accuracy whether they will be married in fifteen years.)
The act of writing for us has become not just a pleasure but a necessity which drives us through intermediate method to final product. As many readers and others including a range of friends (including former and present government officials) by now are aware from conversations in person and remotely, and physical evidence some of which is under the protection and care of others that the Ninth Amendment (which is made up of individual persons) unfortunately suffered harm, damage, very large (for us) economic loss in order to either repair, upgrade, replace and/or secure former computers' integrity. This includes all manner of injury short of known physical assault from acts clearly evidencing technical malfeasance with our publication, identity theft known to include breaking into e-mail accounts, and related accounts, which were misused for so-called "side-door access" including to all significant functions we control allowing us to bring out the Ninth Amendment as we see fit.
Furthermore damages were incurred and federal, state and/or local laws may have been violated under a lay reading of the plain texts of statutes by taking without authorization (theft) "Administrator" status such individuals were acting and purportedly writing legally significant and other correspondence under the name of myself, the editor-in-chief, of this publication. To the best of our knowledge we suffered the first service disruptions of any type consistent with those described above exactly on the same date that information became public of Texas Governor Rick Perry's impending self-imposed end to his unparalleled run in state office culminating in a string of Texas governorships spanning more than thirty-five years.
According to statistics kept by Google page views of the most viewed page appearing in this Ninth Amendment Log is a more than three-year-old post reporting on Governor Perry which has as of the publication of today's post reached 1,376 specific page views. The Ninth Amendment Log is and always has been political satire, with scattered obvious solemn notes such as our statements honoring our war dead and wounded on Veteran's Day, celebrating the United States Constitution and the pressingly pertinent endurance of its words today, as well of its historical foundation to our County's current experience, and more reflecting a deep and abiding love of that Compact which roots this extraordinary Nation.
The Ninth Amendment is recognized as such by reasonable persons from the moment they first see the cartoon caricaturing Dr. Hunter S. Thompson on the Ninth Amendment's landing page. Readers easily can discern the focus of the site's mostly political satirical coverage regarding nationally and globally known institutions and individuals.
Upon learning that Google keeps a record accessible for site administrators such as ours detailing all account activity, including identifying information as to servers and their approximate location including objects from within a proximity of a few feet. More exact location need be pursued through some unfamiliar to us military/national security/similar we expect channels. Upon learning this persons including those participating in the digital publication of the Ninth Amendment consulted the Google listing for this Ninth Amendment Log, a so-called "blog" on Google's "blogger.com". The Ninth Amendment consulted the Google Account Activity site and found that the Ninth Amendment for years has had its server of record at an IP address in Mountain View, California.
Nevertheless after about five years of uninterrupted publication since its inception in later July 2013 that IP address jumped (in the Google report with no discernable action on the part of anyone working on or for the Ninth Amendment) to a different server having been documented in earlier posts searchable by interested readers. A reverse IP address locater found that the server IP address 127.227.207.201 is at about the southwest corner of the intersection of Van Ness and Market Streets at a facility listed to a previously identified public information search as belonging to the State of California. The reference resource identifies California DTS-cis (?) as providing computer support services to local, state, and federal entities from this location.
Now patient readers to change gears and assuage your boundless curiosity we reproduce first verbatim the below editorial. As readers see it has been presented by the New York Times unanimously by the Editorial Board. The below is copyright The New York Times. House leaders are threatening economic disaster with an absurd list of discredited demands of "or elses"  that should be:
Editorial

A Republican Ransom Note

On Wednesday last, Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew sent the House a very serious warning that, for the first time, the United States would be unable to pay its bills beginning on Oct. 17 if the debt ceiling is not lifted. House leaders responded on Thursday with one of the least serious negotiating proposals in modern Congressional history: a jaw-dropping list of ransom demands containing more than a dozen discredited Republican policy fantasies.

Readers’ Comments

We’ll refrain from deliberately sabotaging the global economy, Speaker John Boehner and the other leaders said, if President Obama allows more oil drilling on federal lands. And drops regulations on greenhouse gases. And builds the Keystone XL oil pipeline. And stops paying for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. And makes it harder to sue for medical malpractice. And, of course, halts health care reform for a year.
The list would be laughable if the threat were not so serious. A failure to raise the debt ceiling would cause a default on government debt, shattering the world’s faith in Treasury bonds as an investment vehicle and almost certainly bringing on another economic downturn. Unlike a government shutdown, a default could leave the Treasury without enough money to pay Social Security benefits or the paychecks of troops.
The full effects remain unknown because no Congress has ever allowed the government to go over the brink before. The Government Accountability Office estimated that simply by threatening to default in 2011, Republicans cost taxpayers $1.3 billion in higher interest payments because of that uncertainty. The 10-year cost of those higher-interest bonds is $18.9 billion.
Any sober-minded lawmaker should realize that the danger of trifling with the debt limit is far too high. But Mr. Boehner has been encouraging his members to toss their pet projects — hey, let’s insist on Congressional approval for every major federal regulation! — onto the towering list of demands.
By day’s end, many Republican members remained skeptical of the leadership plan. But the House leaders clearly hope the president will take the bait and negotiate on a few items on the list, forcing him to break his promise never to bargain over the debt ceiling. Many items on the list are intended to put vulnerable red-state Democratic senators on the spot should the plan wind up in their chamber. One of them, Joe Manchin III of West Virginia, said Thursday he could support a year’s delay on health reform. If the unified Democratic opposition to the debt-ceiling threat is shattered in the Senate, the pressure on Mr. Obama to come to the table would be intense.
But the absurdity of the list shows just how important it is that Mr. Obama ignore every demand and force the House extremists to decide whether they really want to be responsible for an economic catastrophe. He made a mistake by negotiating in 2011, hoping to reach a grand bargain; that produced the corrosive sequester cuts.
To prevent the House from making every debt-ceiling increase an opportunity to issue extortionist demands for rejected policies they can achieve in no other way, the president has to put an end to the routine creation of emergencies once and for all by simply saying no.

Noose Tightens On Federal-Prison Bound Cybercriminals In Resounding National Endorsement Of Free Speech And Global Thirst For Freedom Of Expression, Cheney To Trade Pigheart For Teenage Human Body Parts

Sunday, 18 August 2013, MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA - The Ninth Amendment this week celebrates a spate of birthdays amongst dear friends, close schoolmates, famous persons and B-B-Q lovers not the least of whom is former President Bill Clinton who shares a birthday with one particularly devoted figure who has contributed doggedly to the steady quality growth of readership in the Ninth Amendment for over half a decade now. It is only fitting this post is submitted out of the above dateline location that being the ostensible home of our main server location with of course mirror locations around the globe.
"Mirror servers" remind us of one particularly ugly investment in Akamai pushed on us by a former sellout friend who was a decent attorney and personal investor but became a very sorry lapboy pig of criminal "full-service" brokerage PaineWebber that sure did some full service on all the retirement money we ever made in public interest work. Later combining with confessed criminal Swiss bank United Bank of Switzerland in the "dynamic criminal duo" UBS PaineWebber those greedy morons actually discouraged investments in Akamai when a prescient non-insider engineer at Akamai who said "buy, buy, buy" with it selling at about three dollars a share pnksheet, because there was nothing in it for UBS PW. Later once criminal UBS PaineWebber underwrote the stock, however (was on the take) it encouraged purchases at $375 a share the day before Akamai plummeted "good-bye" about a third never to return from an excruciatingly long dive to bankruptcy. For most that was a GOOD investment with UBS PaineWebber one's one-place stop for capital losses.
Come to think of it we cannot wait to write some posts on that and some other criminal financial services "full-service" outfits and their ugly practices such as taking (legal, huh?) kickbacks for executing your orders on the many exchanges which actually make up a single exchange hunting for a trade like a pig snorting for a truffle on which IT not YOU makes the money, innocuously known as "flowback for order flow" as annually fully disclosed on index cards only legible when read in a mirror with 3-D glasses. Yes they sure do give a reader FULL SERVICE with the GARDEN HOSE.
The only one that must give us a bigger chuckle is BANK OF AMERICA which is simply put the biggest bunch of "legitimized" thieves in the world (just our humble uninformed opinion) who admittedly cannot even perform simple math without making exponential errors consistently in guess whose favor? Dear Readers, think we would mislead you?  Find out at your peril.
We cannot even dissuade our mothers from trusting their Canadian pennies (that is usually all that is left by the time BANK OF AMERIKA is done with their change purses and shaking out grandmother's mattresses) at that -- VERY loosely speaking "bank". Do our readers think B your A will come after us for such irresponsibly absolutely totally TRUE statements? Unlikely. We just have one thing to say to our readers who have their money or anything of value (Bank of Amerika shamelessly even steals senior citizens wallets right out of their purses while fingerprinting them --  a practice with which B your A management certainly should feel comfortable) at the money facilitator of that which happens to be the largest criminal or any other kind of bankruptcy in history. PARMALAT, Italian style - look it up and weep.
And five dollars to cash a check on one of its own bank account holders' instruments?  These people have neither shame nor brains, but their teeth sure are white (and sharp). Our regrets to the many clueless employees of B your A -- in this case we strongly recommend another job or sure even the unemployment line -- better that than working for these crooks unless of course one is in training to become one oneself.
Gosh, did we say that? Well we must have meant it. Perhaps these cybercriminals who have been chocking up the years -- see earlier posts for their phone numbers and other identifying information they were good enough to leave behind on their criminal hacking forays -- have gotten to us a bit interfering with our speech and threatening our children and those we love. Our thanks again to any and all Feds who have been on the good side throughout. And once convicted we look forward to sharing their sorry attempts in our fabricated e-mails at . . . the English language?
Please keep posted because should anyone slip through the cracks we fully expect a significant reward will be on the way for information directly leading to the arrest, convictions, and no less than two oh let us say five years federal prison time. First let us sit back and watch the rats jump from the ship, pointing their dirty nails at one another. Everyone loves a rat with dirty nails. . . .
Finally the Ninth Amendment is delighted to be back with a lot of really fine equipment on loan. And no kidding the "stats" we soon will compile and share with readers not already having done it (somehow) on their own do show the Ninth Amendment is now read by readers in more than half the countries on the planet including nearly the entire Northern Hemisphere with the exception of North Korea. One can only sell so man pairs of the Elvis (later years' look) sunglasses.
Soon we expect to be sharing the highlights of those stats -- even if they are supplied by Google with joint-venturer the Center for International Assassinations (CIA). If compiling our stats keeps the CIA from murdering people and leaving the American people to face the inevitable unexpected mystery killer "blowback" we are all for that.
In the meantime think about how much the average reader might wish to contribute to the reward (held in trust) and as with all not to be collectible by those doing their jobs anyway to help send these criminals away -- start dangling a handful of dimes (in the words of Jim Morrison) in front of their noses, and it sure will be interesting to see for how much the rats will sell each other down the river.  Not much we would guess as by all accounts the stupidity of the cybercrime is just how easily the trail leads both ways. Oh my blowback indeed.
And soon enough back to some of the pressing questions by necessity pushed aside. Has the DEA really committed YET ANOTHER colossal blunder sending America's sick and in pain and young to the morgue with bodies full of super-strong heroin in the latest in a long uninterrupted history of MAJOR POLICY BLUNDERS in the same sorry name of "public safety"? "Public safety" for the D.E.A. means taking away their guns and giving them water pistols and toy doctor bags somewhere they can stay out of trouble for a long, long time, as in until their D.E.A. mousepads (available in YOUR local dumpster) have rotted away and no one really remembers what the acronym stood for back to its proud (huh?) origins in Prohibition. Dumb Enough Already (DEA).
But could it be that President Obama former admitted drug dealer himself will actually live up to some of those nearly decade-old campaign promises and, along with Attorney General Eric Holder, let some of the EIGHT HUNDRED PER CENT increase in the federal prison population go into treatment and leave a little room for the truly violent? Those who we largely have the phony "war on drugs" to thank for anyway, and sorry folks by the way it did not start in the 1980's. It has been a cynical ploy since well before that that had nothing to do with drugs and everything to do with all the lies of Republican icon "Tricky Dick" Nixon ("the Christmas Day Bomber") and sidekick "Spiro Agnew" who supplied his failed condo complex as the still present-day EPA Headquarters above a Safeway, pardoned just in the nick of time as they were dusting his cell in the Republican Hall of Fame. Spiro "my man" the only Vice President who maybe even had one up on fellow "construction" investor on Dick "Pigheart" Cheney (we hear he is trading in Central American teenage body parts down on the Mexican-Belize border, may even get one himself a new heart when the kid stops screaming). And the Republicans are afraid of Hillary?

    The Sudden Disappearance Of http/t.co/1kXhhiBrBe

Friday, 19 July 2013, SAN FRANCISCO - The ubiquitous appearance in various statistical compilations and analyses of the referring site and URL http/t.co/1kXhhiBfBE has been lost neither on the editorial staff of the Ninth Amendment nor other official entities unmasking parties of interest in the convergence of recent diverse investigations of an apparent conspiracy to improperly monitor and collect information with illegal intent and means falling within the scope of elements appearing to comprise those both of relatively recently enacted cybercrimes and other laws which have existed so long as peoplekind have sadly operated from and acted upon bad motives.
Possible candidates for criminal activities as previously noted in our most recent posts have included a range of possible counts from those dating from the common law to others appearing in the statute books only in recent years with the advent of, i.e., identity theft and an ever-broadening array of others reflecting the seriousness with which our society has come to take the potential for compromise of its most personal information through the vagaries of the "information age" and the vast potential for abuse which it affords those who are so inclined to avail themselves of whatever means it affords them to leverage wrongful acts such that they are in a position to pose a threat and harm to a far broader range of victims than in times past.
In any case the Ninth Amendment Log does not as always accept remuneration of any type nor in any way coordinate or disclose in advance to those whom we might mention in a post a favorable comment which is based solely on our own opinion and experience with some product or service solely motivated by our own inclination to do so. Here in examining seeming oddities of results using familiar tools in our own amateur attempts to collect information on sites such as the one mentioned in the header and first sentence of this post we find ourselves having visited a site with which we have had frequent prior experience, www.webrankstats.com, but in this case finding it leading to sources intentionally stripped of identifying information.
Readers who are not yet familiar with sites of this type, meaning that which is the one directly above, may find it interesting to visit it or other like sites or those from which it compiles information, in order to collect more information on sites of interest to them, including their history, performance, progress amongst its peers on the web and so on. Meanwhile it has been our fascination along with sleep deprivation recently to have become acquainted with individuals for whom such sites are essentially no more than a toy or casual diversion, their depth of experience with the web being nothing less than astounding in the amount of information they are able to glean from it at locations and by means and speeds that defy belief.
As we have mentioned when one finds oneself at a point confronted with what from all appearances are resource-intensive efforts intended to intimidate, influence or silence including through the use of seemingly intentionally ill-concealed barely indirect communications of suggested surveillance and other invasive practices including those that would conspire and attempt to interfere with our own fundamental rights to express our views, opinions and fundamentally political satirical comment, a cornerstone of American political speech, up to including to the level of poorly cloaked threats, we are only too happy to call in the experts and grateful beyond expression for their immediate willingness to spend hours on the paths which to them it would appear might as well have been left with breadcrumbs or even confessions just waiting to be signed.
We intend to keep communicating to all we can and we cannot express our appreciation enough for our loyal and well-meaning readers who would keep themselves apprised of developments. Vulnerability is borne of silence alone in the dark whereas, as we have so often before repeated, the people United and apprised of developments in the sunshine of the truth can never be defeated.

Security Alerts Home Computers - DISABLE JAVA NOW! - Governments, Media, Experts Warn Zero-Hour Hacker Attack

Saturday, 12 January 2013, REDWOOD SHORES, CALIFORNIA - Another major "zero hour" security alert has been announced by various government and media sources for all Java users on all platforms and browsers. Readers should find instructions for disabling Java, purchased by Oracle Corporation and since suffering many breaches most recently in another believed "ransom" hacker attack, by searching the term "disable Java" on readers' preferred search engines or combinations thereof.
This follows on the announcement of a hacker attack on Facebook seeking to dupe users into giving up private information in response to a fake message to users purporting to be from Facebook's security detail. Information on this should also be readily available on Ninth Amendment readers' favorite search engines or combinations thereof.
Otherwise the past year has seen a spate of near-hysterical "security alerts" from corporations which once made their money largely unknown to purchasers of, particularly, Windows programs paying Microsoft to "bundle" their software with new Windows releases, often making it extremely difficult for less knowledgeable consumers to safely disentangle this hysteria-based software from installations of new operating programs without damaging those programs or rendering them virtually unusable. These techniques of "bundling" were most often connected in the "security" realm with corporations such as Norton and Symantec.
AOL is still notorious amongst programmers for "bundling" unwanted software by paying software companies to virtually inextricably intertwine its unwanted software with already purchased products such that disentangling it, particularly from computer registries, proved a monumental task in which the slightest slip in hours long procedures by expert programmers could forever render the underlying already-purchased software useless. Leading one to wonder who indeed were the "good" guys and who the "bad". The United States Department of Justice Antitrust Division as well as Microsoft itself ended some of these problems by introducing free security software which in many cases is anyway better and free, such as Microsoft Security Essentials. Thousands of others are available free with consumer and editor ratings on sites such as CNET.
The Ninth Amendment welcomes back patient readers as well as new readers with this first post of the new year 2013. It is NOT the Ninth Amendment's intention to become a source of computer security alerts nor should readers rely on the Ninth Amendment for that purpose.
As always the real news of 2013 will soon follow as Ninth Amendment editorial staff and global bureaus reconfigure for the new year. To date Ninth Amendment editors have identified many mostly ignored potentially very significant reports from the "mainstream" press including of North Korea's recent showcasing of functional drones reverse-engineered from, as predicted here, the CIA's own (non-existent) drones, with the notable addition of North Korea's maniacal giant "Flying Dinosaur" drone.
Apparently United States national security agencies also somehow entirely missed North Korea's start-to-finish development of medium-range missiles capable of carrying WMD warheads until a test missile was successfully fired off on trajectory by North Korea's reportedly charismatic new leader lady-killer and apparent Elvis-style sunglasses aficionado Kim Jong II assumed to be in celebration of something like the New Year. It is not known to the Ninth Amendment log what year if any actually is being celebrated in North Korea.
