"Kirby Vacuum Notorious" Incumbent Gregg "Payday" Abbott reportedly had lost over four more points according to the conservative Rasmussen poll and still was dropping fast on newfound fears that he would continue to protect the employers of sex offenders who then rape and kill Texas housewife customers as he has done in the past. "The General" never has been far around a corner from his repeatedly documented hatred of Texas women whether embracing well-known rock stars' misogynist lyrics or embracing rap "Hoe" music as his campaign theme or shrugging off a Midland, Texas friend's funded "Abortion Barbie" handiwork illegally plastering urban places such as public bus shelters in Los Angeles when Wendy Davis was in town. Perhaps most frightening to Texas women is that he will again as in the past rush to the defense of employers sending unannounced sex offenders into the homes of Texas women whom they then rape and kill earning Abbott the fearsome moniker "Kirby Vacuum Notorious" for his past defense of a Texas housewife rapist/murderer's callous employer who decided to shave a few dollars on a background check.
As for his further attacks on all women now rank his infamous Davis campaign attacks prepared by his rumored co-conspirators' disgusting depictions in support of Abbott's campaign picturing childlike crayon drawings of Barbie dolls decapitated with their severed heads resembling opponent Wendy Davis' face on larger crude posters depicting Barbie with her abdomen scissored open and white and colored babies dropping out of Barbie to the ground. The racially diverse babies fallen from their scissored mother were shown falling out just at eye-level where schoolchildren waiting for the bus could look look at them. These grossly violent apparently pro-Abbott for Governor attacks on Davis would seem to suggest, recommend and encourage the viability of abdominal scissor attacks to any casual bystander on the street just like a still shot of some sick violent video game is exactly not the kind of thing most persons particularly family-conscious Texans would want being publicly displayed on any street anywhere especially in the presence of children or even the public at large as the price of waiting for a bus or walking down a city sidewalk anywhere. Abbott previously already had made a name for himself among the misogynist Texas political woman-hating community when he had thanked a supporter for calling Davis a "retard Barbie" apparently just one in a long list of offensive actions and comments by GOP Woman-Hater A.G. Gregg "Dark Money" Abbott.
Texas Woman-Hater A.G. Gregg "Dark Money Payday" Abbott apart from his rabid hatred of all women (except his mother-in-law and he could be lying on that one too) especially those Texas women abused, raped and at terrible risk for whom he has shown less than zero sympathy but actual uncontrolled antipathy with a complete lack of sympathy. Abbott "The General" apparently is relying solely on addressing no issues whatsoever and adopting the lame strategy of trying to take every opportunity when not bashing Texas women to tie Davis to Obama with no factual basis whatsoever to as well as relying on the decades-long GOP strategy of counting on Texans with ignorance intentionally fostered by the mind-numbing Perry years meant to encourage the overwhelming majority of Texas Democratic voters neither to register nor vote after Perry has deprived them of the ability to learn to read.
Texas now 51st in the nation (pretty good and hard to accomplish, huh?) on voter turnout is the second most populous state in the country actually only known to have but a handful of "legitimate" in-state Republican voters all of whom are illiterate, live in other states or are deceased and vote by absentee ballot with the help of the well-oiled corrupt Perry camp along with the Republican Party of Texas which is composed entirely of rich out-of-state polluters, usurers and others no longer permitted to operate in their own states due to pending state and federal criminal investigations against them. They reportedly have prepared to move operations further in large numbers into Texas in anticipation of woman hater Abbott following in protege Idiot Perry's Governor's bootsteps which by Idiot Perry's own admission are even dirtier since he "stepped in it" in his farcical Presidential campaign terminating with his nationally-televised apparent imitation of "brain dead still standing". It has been suggested that were Perry actually to win a Presidential election that the United States might be better off encouraging him to spend his entire Presidency in his favorite radioactive Japanese hideaway rather than risk actually have him take any actions as President which likely could spell the end of the United States or quite possibly the entire world.
Now with the odds "on the street" looking worse every day for him winning the Texas Governor's race despite the confounding failure of "the General's" clearly devastatingly winning strategy to date we find him now so low as to be forcing decent Texans in the comfort of their own homes and modest castles to watch his new bigtime "dark money" Payday and Title store usurer crony bought television blitz piling it right out from the TV where some of that very fine Texas footlball has been watched across the swept clean family room floors (of all the State's newly filthy Perry air, soil and water) of good, true hard-working honest Texans so they can share a suppertime swallow with one surely uninvited guest forcing them to take yet another look at that insincere face of an even darker side of "the General" as he floods the airwaves and demonstrates for all to cringe that even exploiting his own in-laws is not too low for him.
Yes the GOP Texas A.G. Gregg "Payday" Abbott "dark money" state official who it seemed could sink no lower now desperately would pass himself off as not only friend but dear family too of all Texas' Latin American Hispanic community that he now realizes a few decades maybe too late that he has no choice now but pretend he has ever done anything at all for a day in his life for these his newfound "brothers and sisters" with ties South of the Border like stand in a boat in the Rio Grande and point a gun for a photo opportunity at who he hopes are Latin Americans' friends and families or for those back home in Texas for whom he sure does all he can to make sure they have no health and women's services not to mention whatever other help he might block. Finally as to "criminal justice" for minorities it might have helped had Abbott "The General" not been so sure never to speak up for even a delay if there were still some uncomfortable or downright nagging questions that some persons of conscience really would feel a whole lot better about were they answered before some persons were executed by lethal injection meaning open questions of innocence went unanswered forever. In these cases thanks to Abbott "The General" it will never be known whether the racially disproportionately executed prisoners of questionable guilt merely had been executed or instead rather murdered by the State of Texas.
It might be sad to be so meanly far behind the times except for all the damage he and his fellow criminally inclined GOP brethren in public service have done slowing down the bright future of Texas trying to hold back the great shining Lone Star State for their own mean ends in his outdated delusion that he could really be elected Governor in this year 2014 with that tired old Republican playbook from a gone generation just by peeling away whatever poor few confused voters however he could to those who would believe for a second that anyone but Democrats have been most all the State's Latin Americans and all Texas womens' best friends for a quite a long time now. From the train to the Governor's Mansion that is full-speed passing him by along with all is old cronies and their back room Payday Loan and other dirty money standing helpless at the trackside the New Texas passes by him and his quickly disappearing "lead" leaving him and the others with nothing but a mouthful of that "right to eat" Perry-contaminated dry Texas dirt.

Perry "Enforcer" U-T Regent Wallace Hall Clings To Job As Panel Drafting Articles Of Impeachment Per Earlier Overwhelming 7-1 Vote To Impeach Perry Appointee Wallace Hall Delayed By U-T Officials Attacking Panel's Authority And Forcing "Resignation Ultimatum" On Popular U-T Austin President Bill Powers
Wednesday, 23 July 2014, AUSTIN, TX - With attention of many focused elsewhere last week UT officials grabbed the perceived strategic opportunity to try and turn the tables by delaying and distracting attention on several fronts from the already long-approved drafting of articles of impeachment against presently serving Perry U-T Regent appointee Wallace Hall. These obvious subterfuges apparently spearheaded by three top U-T system officials reportedly not surprisingly soon descended into "clashes" with antagonized oversight committee lawmakers as the U-T officials in addition to widely publicized earlier acts in direct defiance of committee requests continued at the hearing repeatedly to attack the lawmakers with seemingly specious allegations of overreaching and outright misstatements reflecting a misunderstanding of the nature of the legal relationship between the Texas legislature on whose behalf the committee served and the U-T system Regents supposedly serving at someone's pleasure other than their own or the Governor's office.
In any case the distractions of attacks against lawmakers and other apparent time-wasting heated interchanges did succeed in further delaying the actual purpose of the hearing of moving forward with reaching conclusion on the specifics of drafting the previously overwhelmingly approved articles of impeachment of Wallace Hall in order to go forward with removing him from his position on the Board of Regents in the absence of his willingness to resign that position.
For the good of the UT system overall and the withdrawal from the spotlight of bad publicity particularly exacerbated by scrutiny of tensions with its flagship UT-Austin campus and President Bill Powers it has been reported that Mr. Wallace's colleague(s) have suggested that he resign his U-T Regent position from which he so far steadfastly has declined to resign (at least to those who so far have approached him) despite widespread allegations by Power supporters and other critics that Hall's actions have been manifestly inappropriate for a U-T Regent who one might expect to promote rather than detract from the public perception of their university (the role of Regent being one however which Hall previously has described in defending his alleged actions as apparently requiring active investigations into U-T matters in what he perceives to be the absence of others available in the U-T system more appropriately tasked with such "investigative"-type activities).
Regent Hall's activities to date publicly have been alleged to encompass a spectrum of improprieties including but not limited to those which have focused unwelcome and unproductive attention on the U-T system's apparent differences with what is after all its flagship university at Austin and what have been described as actions by Mr. Hall which are subject to investigation by the Travis County District Attorney's office including but not limited to "the release of confidential student information, bullying of campus officials and submitting onerous records requests" as described in the San Antonio New-Express all with the ultimate purpose of doing the bidding on his appointment as a U-T Regent of Texas Idiot Governor Rick "Payback" Perry of getting rid of Bill Powers for reasons which we to date have not been able to confirm.
It would appear that the events leading up to the past week have in fact succeeded in accomplishing the objective of ridding UT-Austin of its popular President Bill Powers. At last week's hearing the UT officials reportedly aggressively attacked lawmakers by among other things distorting the reason for the lawmakers' seemingly reasonable request that officials refrain from making any "substantial personnel decision" because it would be inappropriate to do so pending resolution of current contentious issues.
These have included those which had been surrounding Bill Powers tenure and Wallace Hall's actions in relation thereto as well as questions regarding the conduct of Hall in what he apparently has understood to be his "official" capacity. His conduct to date in what he claims to understand to be his appropriate role as regent has resulted in the overwhelming vote in the Texas legislature for his impeachment as well as an increasingly long period without consequence to date given which there have been calls that Hall meanwhile be subjected to some other form of censure or reprimand also pending any criminal investigation's outcome by the Travis County District Attorney. In any case the next Texas Legislature's committee meeting on its overwhelming approval of the drafting of Wallace Hall's articles of impeachment apparently has been set for 11 August 2014.
Doubtless the greatest and perhaps best obscured irony by this not uncharacteristic Texas GOP state government fiasco is that in attacking the Texas House Select Committee in Transparency in State Agency Operations ("HSCTSAO" for those fond of acronyms but not having yet achieved the somewhat more refined elegance of Federal acronyms) is the actual outcome when one shovels away the filth that has been flung back and forth which they otherwise might "step in" but failing that has become so apparent one wonders whether they should laugh or cry. As Regents' Chairman Paul Foster lambasted the legislators for their "overreaching" in encroaching on the Regents territory he even went so far as to chastise the the legislative committee for attempting to do something so "offensive". Apparently on that basis alone it therefore merited no more discussion or answering of questions before the panel by the regents because as it turned out they not only ignored the legislators, they outright defied them and took it upon themselves in the midst of all the controversy and pending investigations to simply do their own analysis reaching the compelling (not to mention convenient) legal conclusion that "[i]t's our view that the Legislature has no authority at all to direct us on personnel matters".
Powerful stuff. This of course leaves open the question until their next scheduled opportunity to lambast the legislature if that personnel matter authority resides with everyone's favorite Governor who appointed them, with the regents (even when impeached), not to mention raises other fascinating questions such as whether they can employ children and women to work fifteen hours a day for ten cents an hour redeemable only at the Regent's "company store". Given all this drama it almost came as an afterthought that not as of last week there had been no "articles of impeachment" drafted pursuant to the "overwhelming vote" of the legislature as to Mr. Wallace. He once had been widely seen as "playing dirty" but now at least for the time being is a free man with a job which seems to include a lot of investigative work.
And lo and behold UT-Austin President Bill Powers in fact now has decided of his own free will to make Governor Perry and henchman Wallace Hall's dream come true as it was announced that Powers had decided to resign effective 15 June 2015. Powers apparently had been told to resign by UT System Chancellor Francisco Ciggaroa "or face a possible firing by the board of regents at its next meeting". Cigarroa nevertheless apparently adamantly denied that he had given Powers an "ultimatum". As for the great umbrage shown by top U-T system regents at the Texas legislature's attempts to interfere with its personnel decisions, Regents' Chairman Foster apparently did feel compelled despite all the strong words thrown at the legislators, including claims of overreaching and their causing "offense" purporting to direct the regents on "personnel matters" which directions were therefore ignored and the opposite actions taken, that it was only accurate that Mr. Foster did grant the panel that "only the legislature can forcibly remove a regent".
In perhaps some final counterpoint of sanity as if to balance out all else that was said and went before, Representative Lyle Larson, R-San Antonio, did note that Powers resignation was "a travesty" . He further criticized the UT system's only known initiative other than ridding itself of President Bill Powers of its flagship UT-Austin campus, which was the regents pending investigation into admission practices to root out every outside influence over admissions which Larson simply described as "impossible and costly".

GOP Women Hater A.G "The General" Greg "Dark Money" Abbott Rules All State Residents After 30 Years Now Lose "Right" To Know Where Texas Hazardous Chemical Stockpiles Located After $75K+ Koch Brothers Abbott Payoff Post Deadly West Explosion
Wednesday, 15 July 2015, AUSTIN, TEXAS - In yet another mind-numbing series of steadily mounting preposterous claims that even MAD Magazine would reject for publication on the grounds that they are too blatantly dumb to be believed even by five-year-olds Texas' very own GOP Women (And Their Children) Hater A.G. Greg "Payday" Abbott has once again thrust into Texans' faces just how abysmally bad his judgment is now extending to a rapidly growing host of hollow gaffes as female-hater Abbott most recently actually tried to pawn off an insultingly pathetic dishonest excuse for having abused his State Office to single-handedly deprive all Texans of critical safety information on potential chemical hazards throughout the nation's second largest state which Abbot himself admitted would not even entitle Texans to find out if some neighbor say right next to a school were storing truckloads of ammonium nitrate in sheds packed up and ready to go.
Although Republican Abbott may have been too busy soliciting "campaign donations" or who knows what that year such that he just missed the news altogether most Americans will never forget the monstrous devastation that one truckload's mixture of the fertilizer parked beside the federal building in the heart of Oklahoma City completely destroyed the entire huge building instantly killing several hundred federal employees who also happened to be mothers and fathers and daughters and sons and loved ones right in the heart of America in a massively devastating explosion that shook that entire major city and indeed was so massively destructive that its shockwaves were felt around the country and indeed the entire world.
Yet even in 2014 GOP Woman Hater A.G. Greg "Payday" Abbott would have Texans unknowingly play neighbor not just to undeclared tons of extremely hazardous fertilizer when in the wrong hands but all manner of even far more hazardous chemicals haphazardly spread out among all his fellow citizens of the Lone Star state. Texans who could freely do so for the past thirty years now are not even allowed to learn as a matter of public safety from their State government where the chemical stockpiles are kept.
After all the hysteria about components entering the country Texans now know from their aspiring Republican governor that as GOP Attorney General his office has ruled that they are no longer even "entitled" to know where there are known ingredients for potentially thousands of bombs that do not even need to be smuggled in because they are already here! How could any person using their official state position as Attorney General in their right mind have already ruled that as of now Texans will be effectively prevented from finding out where these hazardous chemicals are stored. The answer is just what Texans may have come to expect from Republican governor candidate Abbott who this campaign season has already seen raking in campaign contributions that may well reach into the millions of dollars given with the clear expectation that the money is as with Perry no donation for better government for Texans but for officials making decisions with a direct profit impact on the those that "donate" the money to Abbott's campaign.
Texans should make no mistake about it that this is not because the big money wishes to buy Texans a Governor for the good of Texas. All they want is to buy another Texas governor for themselves. Perry has gotten them so spoiled and keeping playing business as usual hitting up Texans from their out-of-state mansions getting rich gouging the underclass with payday, title and "short-term" loans that end up lasting a lifetime to struggle to pay off with "fees" that are nothing but usurious interest that would have gotten them their hands cut off in Biblical times and maybe their tongues too if they did not shut up.
We have friends and family who have learrned the lifetime those "E-Z" and "short-term" loans" end up really lasting will be your own lifetime drained away faster the harder you try as they kill you off struggling to pay them back a thousand times over as you work day and night worse off than you ever were before until they either drive you into bankruptcy (and still keep trying even then to get more money with no shame even after the Court tells them to stay the hell away from you), or they just slowly kill you off plain and simple as you reach for the salt one day and drop dead with your face in your dinner plate the kids hollering at the table and a day later they will be on the phone and then at the door lying to your kin and trying to get them to say that they are owed all your life insurance proceeds. All anyone has to do is hang up the phone or shut the door. Do not ever make the mistake of ever agreeing to anything including not even that there is any known debt of any amount owed by anyone.
ALL THE PRECEDING IS WHAT WE BELIEVE MAY BE OUR OPINION WHICH IF IT IS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE FROM MOMENT TO MOMENT AND IS WE SUSPECT THE END PHASE PRODUCT OF TOO MUCH "JUNK" AND FAST FOOD AS WELL AS MAYBE THE MERCURY PUT IN OUR FILLINGS AND VACCINES AS CHILDREN. THE NINTH AMENDMENT DOES NOT PURPORT TO NOR DOES IT OFFER NOR PROVIDE ANY LEGAL ADVICE WHATSOEVER ON ANY MATTER AT ALL. It is disconcerting that Abbott the Republican who would become Texas' Governor persists in compounding lies that are so pathetic there seems little doubt he will drive himself to madness were he just to listen momentarily to his own talking trash points. His office claims he had to rule that no Texans could know any longer after thirty years whether or not their very own neighbors were storing hazardous chemicals that might blow up the whole neighborhood and God knows what else because that decision was dictated by some supposed old Homeland Security law that we certainly are not aware of any other state have interpreted the same way since it makes no sense ever and doubtless creates much more of a public safety problem than it possibly could alleviate. How insulting and arrogant can a Republican public official be that he can claim straight to your face that the State has to put you into what for all you know (but of course now you cannot) is a danger a thousand times worse than the non-existent harm that has not been there for thirty years or that your neighbor that you have known forever is suddenly going to fall prey to foreign terrorists who are going to take or get them to use their hazardous chemicals to make a bomb?!

So a Dallas TV station actually took Abbott up on his idiotic idea and drove around going up to places and facilities and asking to see their chemical lists. As the TV station and the newspaper put it, Abbott's suggestion worked just about "as well as you would think".
But Republican Abbott rather than just slink away at some point was still just too damn stubborn to give up so he persisted in proving himself even more of an idiot of by suggesting that Texans might look for locations of hazardous chemicals on the Texas Department of Insurance website apparently on the basis of some kind of wild guess without even checking or asking anyone himself in advance about this convenient resource that would we guess as he saw it at least kind of cure some of the many evolving problems of his campaign at least for the moment.
When survivors still willing to waste their time listening to GOP moron Abbott went to check out his latest fabricated brainstorm they were told that this approach was "useless" for their purposes. Yet unbelievably apparently utterly and completely determined to absolutely make himself look like as much of an idiot as humanly possible moron Abbott the world's most pathetic magician then suggested that perhaps (presumably if he asked nicely and wore a tie) the Texas legislature would allow all Texans to go and try to bother local fire stations for the information "during regular business hours".
Now that last one sounds so incredibly stupid and delusional that one can only imagine that request making firemen's and firewomen's (we guess they have those) jaws drop and proving decisively that Abbott was in no way qualified to be Governor of Texas until he at least tried a mild lobotomy and a few years bed rest. One thing seems clear and that is that Abbott really must need the job as it is hard to see how he could make any rational decisions whatsoever as Governor and therefore like Perry should have a whole group of handlers like Perry who if he goes too far off the mark presumably can just take him out and drag him home for a nap before he torpedoes his entire political career single-handedly. Kind of like Perry needing someone to tackle him off the stage the moment it became clear his brain ran entirely dry on glucose about five seconds into the last round of the Republican national debate. At this rate the Ninth Amendment believes that the only fair prediction the editorial board can make is that Abbott cannot win for Texas governor even if he were the only one running against himself.
So why cannot GOP Texas Moron Woman-Hater Greg "Payday" Abbott just not tell the truth for once for goodness sake. He must have had to at least on a few occasions as a child. After Abbott's behavior so far and a decade of watching Perry get paid off it would not seem to be such a big surprise or anything if Abbott were to just directly openly charge for favors. It would seem to have so much more dignity. And clearly no one in Texas at least at this time aggressively prosecutes these guys for anything since they are the ones that by now have given every patronage job and anything else that belonged to Texas away that was not nailed down. It is one way of protecting oneself. One can just see all the feds sitting in their offices smiling to themselves and waiting to see how much rope these guys will take imagining the day that the suits must swarm Perry probably off-guard in his running shorts and relieve him of his fearsome dog-killing laser-sighted six shooter, or was it a fox, or a wolf, or no come to think of it we are sure Perry was sure it was a bear. And no doubt it threatened Perry's dog.
Yeah, that's the ticket. In any case the true boring story here is just one more payoff for Abbott is what it took. Perry sold the State's air and water off long ago. The Gulf of Mexico they sold for what they could before leaving it as a pit of mixed Corexit and oil and floating chunks of poisonous hardened muck floating just beneath the surface fifty-two times more toxic just below where you cannot see it from the surface. But one sadly will not be seeing anymore shrimp and shallow water fish either for a long, long time, or maybe at all around here. Firepersons curating public information records to members of the public in a place which is tailored absolutely to the extremely important local public safety functions of a community in matters of life and death, monitoring members of the public in such a work environment, which also happens to serve as the firespersons' actual home when they are on duty, but limit visiting hours of members of the public wandering about so that firepersons only are burdened with this minor inconvenience during "regular business hours". What the hell are "regular business hours" in a fire station!? Does Abbott take the people of the great state of Texas for imbeciles. We wish he would enter into a saloon in the 19th century and say such rubbish to locals as he told them how he wanted to run for sheriff. He would be shot dead and thrown in the street in about a minute.

Texans should make no mistake about it that this is not because the big money wishes to buy Texans a Governor for the good of Texas. All they want is to buy another Texas governor for themselves. Perry has gotten them so spoiled and keeping playing business as usual hitting up Texans from their out-of-state mansions getting rich gouging the underclass with payday, title and "short-term" loans that end up lasting a lifetime to struggle to pay off with "fees" that are nothing but usurious interest that would have gotten them their hands cut off in Biblical times and maybe their tongues too if they did not shut up.

Tuesday, 17 June 2014, DALLAS - With Texas' obsolete GOP candidates, handlers, rich and/or family sycophants desperately trying to hang on less than five more months and try to bluff it through one last gubernatorial election (even as lame-duck Idiot Governor Rick "Payback" Perry helpfully shares his analogy hinting that the newly-styled "Perry the academic" is setting down his laser-sighted coyote-killing six-shooter as he learns to be read to first from presumably Dark Ages texts from which he alone apparently gleans teach that alcoholism is most comparable to homosexuality as a genetic weakness that can be overcome) these otherwise unemployable Texas Republican candidates' and their masses of hangers-on lunge back at what they have come to know as their very own "trough" of honest hard-working Texans' tax dollars become they believe their birthright. Perhaps they need to volunteer for a "surge" for their state and their country overseas and not yet another "plunge" for themselves and themselves at home.
Given the changing demographics of the state of Texas in addition to the widely-reported Texas GOP election year strategy of widespread GOP rapidly growing corruption scandals relentlessly coming to light with another past decade-plus worth of illegal actions doubtless left to emerge or more likely sooner be exposed and prosecuted it is further downright mystifying to even try to imagine what if anything Texas GOP Gregg "Woman Hater" Abbott has in mind adopting his first "Women 'n Hoes" campaign theme song soon followed by carefully-orchestrated "Abortion Barbie" posters illegally adorning public property while confining himself to issues beyond his rampant hatred of women who make up over half of Texas voters to such dire matters as Ms. Davis' suggesting that beer not be sold in forty-ounce bottles. Now that is one game-changer for sure.
One can only surmise that such dinosaurs-in-mind as Perry and Abbott are so cut-off in some (in their eyes anyway) rarefied world reeking with such upstanding citizens of out-of-state dark money "payday", title and short-term loan usurers and generously donating firms directly "regulated" in Texas by them from the reality of the State in which they collect their tributes (Perry mostly just on fly-by stopovers from his Japanese vacation radiation treatments looking down his nose at his dueling Texas taxpayer-funded governors' mansions) that Abbott and his GOP cronies and shadow world mob are so immersed in this muck that they have adopted these fine model persons' mindsets as their own long ago having shed what fine true honest genuine Texas values they apparently neglected actually to inherit themselves.
Should readers happen to see say in the most recent Texas Monthly the new "studious" lame-duck Idiot Governor Rick "Payback" Perry in his best imitation Wall Street get-up dark suit and shoes no boots six-shooter traded for eyeglasses readers particularly those from his hometown Painter's Creek, Teas probably are not fooled into thinking anyone in their right mind on Wall Street would actually interview him for a job unless that bank needed things to go "South" (no pun intended) really fast and figured Perry was probably headed for a long stint in prison anyway. No readers more probably may think he is off to be questioned by the Feds. The Feds have always been impressed by people who think a shower and a new dark suit and matching shoes can get them off of decades of serious offenses. Not. No more likely Perry is dressed to be let into the federal courthouse to sit on a bench outside where the grand jury sits and see if he can get any of his parade of cronies testifying inside the past month might bend the rules and give him a hint of to what it would be smartest to admit without going needlessly far at this point. At least until the Feds renew his passport.
Fortunately for those whom those Republicans such as Perry are long ago and many times oveer already bought and paid for they merely must pull out the wads of cash for which they have come to expect and demand their most handsome "dividends" and safely sip tropical cocktails outside U.S. jurisdiction and certainly not actually have to sully themselves and stand with a straight face and directly be witnessed making it necessary for brave Democrat women candidates such as State Senator Wendy Davis to speak for the priceless few remaining hours left actually at least to attempt to address honestly many of Texas' truly pressing problems just to make it her duty to fend off yet another purely diversionary attack on dead issues made without conviction of what is left of women's rights in the State of Texas which is to say they will do none of the hard governing Texans actually elected them to do not coincidentally just like their frozen D.C. Beltway Republican compatriots (in the worst sense of the word) disintegrating without even making it past the primaries haunting the GOP before its very eyes.
That rather than even a single self-serving Republican lawmaker or official addressing when they should be screaming about a really life-or-death issue such as what good are Texas jobs when one struggles to perform them like slaves in the dirtiest air in the country barely able to breathe, why the pristine God-given vast aquifers of Texas pure clean water are being paved and golf-course chemicalled over contaminated with rank poisons which will take hundreds of very expensive years to pump and treat from contaminated groundwater levels having sunk down hundreds of feet long after Texans' future generations have no place left even livable off the land of the once great Lone Star State that God left only in trust to their forefathers.
Or why Texas GOP officials let BP get away with merely sinking unknown hundreds of millions or billions of gallons of highly toxic waste oil by mixing it with even more toxic "dispersents" such as the well-documented ultra-poison Corexit which could be used by the military to make nerve toxins when mixed together with oil together at least fifty-two (52) times more toxic than either alone. BP and Corexit know because it says so right on its drums that it cleans up nothing at all but just sinks vast quantities of horrid poison oil-chemical waste stew out of sight now in huge dark massing death clouds just beneath the surface of the Gulf coast where it exterminates all sea life once living there. All those familiar who depended on this marine environment for ages know nothing ever lived right on the surface anyway, left just beneath out-of-site out-of-mind in the BP killing zone where it will continue to wash dead ashore on the banks and marshes keeping on coming just like the Exxon Valdez Corexit-oil witches' brew has continuously since 1989 (twenty-five years later) but now again here by BP on the once beautiful healthy shores of the Texas Gulf Coast for generations to come or not and never even see nor believe how beautiful the coastline and waters once were.
And all the honest hard-working Texans their livelihood fishing and shrimping having been stolen forced to work like hazardous waste facility wretches in direct dermal and eye contact with and breathing their respiratory-system killing fumes of this toxic filth having been denied wearing even there own bought respirators under threat of immediate firing by British Petroleum (BP) "because they gave the wrong [or rather the right] impression". That being the Gulf was now deadly where BP spilled forth unimaginable oceans of oil filth long after BP should have called who turned out to be its "very chummy buddies" from the Coast Guard to its "Dark Horizons" platform inferno immediately after the initial explosions which actually had already injured and killed several (American) workers. But BP said not to come it had it "under control". This actually may have been somewhat prescient at least on BP's managers parts as Coast Guard planes reportedly "missed" the entire Gulf of Mexico completely instead streaming highly toxic clouds of Corexit dumped directly on oil rig platforms and unprotected workers who had not yet sought asylum in Iraq.
Most shamefully all those unknowing hardworking honest true Texas fisherman and others were forced to clean up or rather hide BP's mess for the ages or at least until the television cameras were gone and Florida got a season with no oil visible on its beaches to interfere with the tourist sunbathers because the Texans had to keep the oil so BP would feed their families. Let some of the many oil companies right here in Texas go do some deep sea drilling in the English Channel. What do readers say? Maybe off of Brighton Beach. And next time NATO is back in Iraq which sadly looks as if it better be soon let BP send the soldiers to man the front lines this time Britain having suffered so remarkably few injuries by hanging so far back out of harm's way guarding very little the first go round with the Americans miles ahead out in front.
So sure there are plenty of real concerns for the Texas government to address and plenty of real work for the Government of Texas to get done. Even plenty of real fights to pick and not just with their own women if that is the way the bold GOP cares to govern. But lay off the Texas women, stop wasting everyone's time making women stand up for rights long ago proudly settled, and for goodness sake give them some women's health clinics. The Texas GOP government has left Texas women without a single women's health clinic west of San Antonio throughout the rest of the state. And treating more than half of one's state's voters like that, who also happen to be good hard-working honest Texans mothers, wives, sisters and daughters, among other things, now that is just plain stupid. Idiotic woman-hating the Abbott way to GOP fame and GOP glory and not to forget GOP fortune that the day fast comes even that Grand Old Party of Texas will get it through their heads and whatever is in them that no one with a modicum of self-respect would want that GOP brand of "success" except maybe burnt on readers know whose little pink behinds.

Given the changing demographics of the state of Texas in addition to the widely-reported Texas GOP election year strategy of widespread GOP rapidly growing corruption scandals relentlessly coming to light with another past decade-plus worth of illegal actions doubtless left to emerge or more likely sooner be exposed and prosecuted it is further downright mystifying to even try to imagine what if anything Texas GOP Gregg "Woman Hater" Abbott has in mind adopting his first "Women 'n Hoes" campaign theme song soon followed by carefully-orchestrated "Abortion Barbie" posters illegally adorning public property while confining himself to issues beyond his rampant hatred of women who make up over half of Texas voters to such dire matters as Ms. Davis' suggesting that beer not be sold in forty-ounce bottles. Now that is one game-changer for sure.
One can only surmise that such dinosaurs-in-mind as Perry and Abbott are so cut-off in some (in their eyes anyway) rarefied world reeking with such upstanding citizens of out-of-state dark money "payday", title and short-term loan usurers and generously donating firms directly "regulated" in Texas by them from the reality of the State in which they collect their tributes (Perry mostly just on fly-by stopovers from his Japanese vacation radiation treatments looking down his nose at his dueling Texas taxpayer-funded governors' mansions) that Abbott and his GOP cronies and shadow world mob are so immersed in this muck that they have adopted these fine model persons' mindsets as their own long ago having shed what fine true honest genuine Texas values they apparently neglected actually to inherit themselves.
Should readers happen to see say in the most recent Texas Monthly the new "studious" lame-duck Idiot Governor Rick "Payback" Perry in his best imitation Wall Street get-up dark suit and shoes no boots six-shooter traded for eyeglasses readers particularly those from his hometown Painter's Creek, Teas probably are not fooled into thinking anyone in their right mind on Wall Street would actually interview him for a job unless that bank needed things to go "South" (no pun intended) really fast and figured Perry was probably headed for a long stint in prison anyway. No readers more probably may think he is off to be questioned by the Feds. The Feds have always been impressed by people who think a shower and a new dark suit and matching shoes can get them off of decades of serious offenses. Not. No more likely Perry is dressed to be let into the federal courthouse to sit on a bench outside where the grand jury sits and see if he can get any of his parade of cronies testifying inside the past month might bend the rules and give him a hint of to what it would be smartest to admit without going needlessly far at this point. At least until the Feds renew his passport.
Fortunately for those whom those Republicans such as Perry are long ago and many times oveer already bought and paid for they merely must pull out the wads of cash for which they have come to expect and demand their most handsome "dividends" and safely sip tropical cocktails outside U.S. jurisdiction and certainly not actually have to sully themselves and stand with a straight face and directly be witnessed making it necessary for brave Democrat women candidates such as State Senator Wendy Davis to speak for the priceless few remaining hours left actually at least to attempt to address honestly many of Texas' truly pressing problems just to make it her duty to fend off yet another purely diversionary attack on dead issues made without conviction of what is left of women's rights in the State of Texas which is to say they will do none of the hard governing Texans actually elected them to do not coincidentally just like their frozen D.C. Beltway Republican compatriots (in the worst sense of the word) disintegrating without even making it past the primaries haunting the GOP before its very eyes.
That rather than even a single self-serving Republican lawmaker or official addressing when they should be screaming about a really life-or-death issue such as what good are Texas jobs when one struggles to perform them like slaves in the dirtiest air in the country barely able to breathe, why the pristine God-given vast aquifers of Texas pure clean water are being paved and golf-course chemicalled over contaminated with rank poisons which will take hundreds of very expensive years to pump and treat from contaminated groundwater levels having sunk down hundreds of feet long after Texans' future generations have no place left even livable off the land of the once great Lone Star State that God left only in trust to their forefathers.
Or why Texas GOP officials let BP get away with merely sinking unknown hundreds of millions or billions of gallons of highly toxic waste oil by mixing it with even more toxic "dispersents" such as the well-documented ultra-poison Corexit which could be used by the military to make nerve toxins when mixed together with oil together at least fifty-two (52) times more toxic than either alone. BP and Corexit know because it says so right on its drums that it cleans up nothing at all but just sinks vast quantities of horrid poison oil-chemical waste stew out of sight now in huge dark massing death clouds just beneath the surface of the Gulf coast where it exterminates all sea life once living there. All those familiar who depended on this marine environment for ages know nothing ever lived right on the surface anyway, left just beneath out-of-site out-of-mind in the BP killing zone where it will continue to wash dead ashore on the banks and marshes keeping on coming just like the Exxon Valdez Corexit-oil witches' brew has continuously since 1989 (twenty-five years later) but now again here by BP on the once beautiful healthy shores of the Texas Gulf Coast for generations to come or not and never even see nor believe how beautiful the coastline and waters once were.
And all the honest hard-working Texans their livelihood fishing and shrimping having been stolen forced to work like hazardous waste facility wretches in direct dermal and eye contact with and breathing their respiratory-system killing fumes of this toxic filth having been denied wearing even there own bought respirators under threat of immediate firing by British Petroleum (BP) "because they gave the wrong [or rather the right] impression". That being the Gulf was now deadly where BP spilled forth unimaginable oceans of oil filth long after BP should have called who turned out to be its "very chummy buddies" from the Coast Guard to its "Dark Horizons" platform inferno immediately after the initial explosions which actually had already injured and killed several (American) workers. But BP said not to come it had it "under control". This actually may have been somewhat prescient at least on BP's managers parts as Coast Guard planes reportedly "missed" the entire Gulf of Mexico completely instead streaming highly toxic clouds of Corexit dumped directly on oil rig platforms and unprotected workers who had not yet sought asylum in Iraq.
Most shamefully all those unknowing hardworking honest true Texas fisherman and others were forced to clean up or rather hide BP's mess for the ages or at least until the television cameras were gone and Florida got a season with no oil visible on its beaches to interfere with the tourist sunbathers because the Texans had to keep the oil so BP would feed their families. Let some of the many oil companies right here in Texas go do some deep sea drilling in the English Channel. What do readers say? Maybe off of Brighton Beach. And next time NATO is back in Iraq which sadly looks as if it better be soon let BP send the soldiers to man the front lines this time Britain having suffered so remarkably few injuries by hanging so far back out of harm's way guarding very little the first go round with the Americans miles ahead out in front.
So sure there are plenty of real concerns for the Texas government to address and plenty of real work for the Government of Texas to get done. Even plenty of real fights to pick and not just with their own women if that is the way the bold GOP cares to govern. But lay off the Texas women, stop wasting everyone's time making women stand up for rights long ago proudly settled, and for goodness sake give them some women's health clinics. The Texas GOP government has left Texas women without a single women's health clinic west of San Antonio throughout the rest of the state. And treating more than half of one's state's voters like that, who also happen to be good hard-working honest Texans mothers, wives, sisters and daughters, among other things, now that is just plain stupid. Idiotic woman-hating the Abbott way to GOP fame and GOP glory and not to forget GOP fortune that the day fast comes even that Grand Old Party of Texas will get it through their heads and whatever is in them that no one with a modicum of self-respect would want that GOP brand of "success" except maybe burnt on readers know whose little pink behinds.

Sunday, 25 May 2014, AUSTIN, TX - Republicans' corrupt sexist candidate for Texas governor present sitting GOP Texas Attorney General Greg "Dark Money" aka "Payday" Abbott the woman "I own your body" hater today has been exposed as awash in nearly $1 million in bribes in the form of "campaign donations" over the past decade by just six rich law firms "whose financial interest he is ruling on" according to Texans for Public Justice not to mention who knows how many other "Payday" loan usurers and so on including over one-fifth of $1 million in the present 2012-2013 campaign cycle. The six law firms include a nationally known Washington, D.C. based law firm nearly leading the group in donation amounts.
Republican Abbott reportedly is known to at least one of these firms as "the General". The General's campaign did not deny but dismissed the what effectively were bribes throughout his more than decade-long tenure in his present public office as inconsequential because they only involved such non-judgmental matters as "legal determinations" which characterization should no doubt be of interest to actual courts of law should Abbott ever happen to be prosecuted for anything. His campaign apparently is unaware that in such matters as often criminal conflicts of interest the standard need not even be actual but only have the "appearance of impropriety" to be equally eligible for punishment.

Presumably the Attorney General would refrain either from personally, having at his direction, conspiring or with knowledge aforethought or after the fact in any way be involved with an illegal activity (unlike present Texas Idiot Governor Rick "Payback" Perry) such as posting this arguably offensive and somewhat unprofessional material on public property where it would be plainly visible to persons such as schoolchildren, churchgoers, Republican dark money "donors", payday and title loan store, and short-term loan bank owners and so on.

In case the GOP should lose the handful of really rich people and maverick geniuses buying the U.S. Government for those Republican candidates like Texas' brand new Superstupid McCarthyite Tea Partier Ted Cruz (the GOP's secret weapon currently "handling" U.S. foreign policy which he has for some reason identified as his clear mandate as a new junior senator to try his hand at solo in Ukraine presumably to see if his first success can be single-handed to goad Putin into another Cold War or just go for it and start World War Three and show the world that all this stuff U.S. taxpayers have bought from "defense contractors" for so long can pass the big test) those Republicans may want to copy those Democrats' "grassroots" funding techniques if they work some and the GOP has little other choice. We believe the strategy basically goes like the following with all those Democratic solicitations for money mentioned above and the free real one below.
Say hypothetically those Democrats have a huge pile of e-mail addresses which formerly may not even have been thought worthwhile prospects because they (actually the people at the addresses) vote in their own countries (where elections are available) or if in the United States have records of apparent Republican support, e.g. former not-really-elected "President" George W. Bush. Gregg "Dark Money" Abbott's Monday politically-motivated legal brief urging the execution go forward without delay despite the known lack of the constitutionally required determination of the inmate's mental competence.
Abbott's "legal" reasoning in urging the inmate's immediate execution likely tantamount to murder by the state presumably was motivated by his political aspirations at any cost. Texas Rejects Federal Prison Rape Standards As Idiot Governor Rick "Payback" Perry Refuses Certification Of State Prisons
Thursday, 1 May 2014, AUSTIN, TEXAS - Should some of our readers find dwelling on prisoner-on-prisoner rape including that of youths hard to stomach, these readers are assured it is not pleasant to have to report. Regardless of what the The Ninth Amendment editorial board and some others may think of what a society (in this case the people of state of Texas) presumably sees as just punishments including any expected resultant suffering from due process of law as set forth in the United States and state constitutions, we find deplorable conditions which reasonably may be avoided that can be expected to inflict further suffering even worse than the original punishment while in the State's custody to be repugnant to fundamental principles of justice and humanity.
Texas Idiot Lame-Duck Governor Rick "Payback" Perry last week at least briefly turned his attention to the state he governs long enough to refuse Texas' certification that it meets minimum federal prison standards to reduce prisoner-on-prisoner rapes including segregation of 17-year-old youths sentenced as adults from adult prison populations.

Should this be the case the Ninth Amendment lacks information and is at a loss to explain how this seemingly clear downward deviation from minimum federal standards which specifically require for obvious reasons youths' segregation from older adult prisoners could possibly not be and/or has not been recognized by the State as anything but a failure under whatever state standard as it has not achieved the unambiguous result of segregating 17-year-olds from adult inmates.
The Ninth Amendment encourages the people of the State of Texas to remain informed and aware of the decisions and actions on such important issues by those they have chosen to govern their great state and will be mindful when making future choices as to those persons elected to govern Texas what decisions and actions those candidates reasonably may be expected to make on a wide range of major issues which will affect most every one of those voters, their future generations, as well as all their fellow Texans including those who for various reasons cannot vote.

Thursday, 1 August 2013, HAVANA - Readers your attention and patience please for the evolving prediction of the editorial board of the Ninth Amendment log that this current American century-span, roughly defined as commencing with the storming by the Allied Forces led from the West by the United States military racing into literal collision at Hitler's besieged Berlin Fuhrerbunker with the crush of Stalinist Russian masses from the East, soon eclipsed by the so-called "atomic" bombings of Nagasaki and within days Hiroshima, through the paroxysms of "McCarthyism" here at home from the Atlantic seaboard clear to sunny Hollywood on the Pacific Coast, the overseas global Cold War now known indeed to have brought our planet Earth to the very brink of extinction from a conflagration with the Communists off the shores of Cuba, and all that has since followed right up to the present with the United States heir apparent Superpower now its greatest towers smashed but feverishly rebuilt yet inexorably losing its grip on that mantle (F-35 "weapons system" or not we are afraid) to the undeniable gravitational force of the burgeoning population black hole of the Far East as the mid-East writhes in the seasons of its discontent, only that we now should suffer for some surely unfathomable reason the murmurings of another but this time self-inflicted, what?..... The human tragedies of that 1950's era need not be revisited here, the slim reeds upon which they by most accounts all too often rested, and what we took to be the generally accepted conclusion that when the heat of the moment (and the Senator increasingly undeniably . . . .unwell as in ill) and resultant dust died down indeed a few traitors most likely had been exposed, punished, paid the price for treason. But what of the other sometimes estimated ninety-five per cent or so who most likely just had the misfortune to be named because, well, they had a name, and one seemed needed for the moment, their talents, their livelihood, their family, their life.... be damned?
Somehow the story when it unraveled really did seem to have become stranger than fiction to use that worn cliche. Senator McCarthy apparent champion of all American and not aberrant quite undeniably himself turning out to be, well, a heroin addict? Apparently in the end the Commissioner was convinced by Senator McCarthy that should the truth come out it would mean the "end of the Free World" or roughly those words. It was thought better meanwhile to concentrate on blaming the opiate menace on the Communist nations abroad. Remarkably when this information more or less came to light including with the Commissioner's publication of his memoirs, no one really seemed to care that much at all about the matter, McCarthy having sometime ago fallen from grace. Or so it seemed. Meanwhile despite his apparent knowledge of this situation President John F. Kennedy actually appointed the Commissioner's to a further term even in light of the knowledge that he had been allegedly condoning the supply of drugs to McCarthy.
And there readers we find ourselves more or less come up to the present day. Apparently Senator Joseph McCarthy has had a resurgence as a voice of today's Tea Party movement. The heroin rumor reportedly was never that well disseminated. Apparently if the Senator's heavy drinking at night necessitated the assistance of some other opiate to get through the hearings of the following day, that might even be understood for the sake of the country. Or so went the reasoning. After all it was for a good cause, or so the thinking of some has gone so far as to justify the casualties to others and to the Senator himself along the way.
Finally as if to come perhaps full circle or full something in any case today there is in the growing movement of Senator McCarthy's resurgence a body of support amongst the Tea Party movement. And somehow, the new junior Senator from Texas Ted Cruz has come to be associated with it. The editorial board of the Ninth Amendment wishes to emphasize that there is no connection whatsoever suggested between the personal habits of Senators McCarthy and Cruz, however readers who care to delve into the subject of oddities in the remarkable life of Senator Cruz we believe will be most surprised at coincidences that seem again beyond imagining.
Senator Ted Cruz is no Rick Perry. He is not brain dead still standing. Professor Allen Dershowitz reportedly has acknowledged that he is absolutely brilliant, no holds barred. He has held positions and for tenures that have been unheard of before for a person of his young age. He graduated Princeton University nearly a decade after some of the editorial staff of this log. Yet oddly his father fought with Castro for the Cuban Revolution, although he apparently had said he "did not know Castro was a Communist". Perhaps most oddly for us, Senator Cruz actually is a scholar of the last two of the Bill of Rights, believing in the same tenets as the editors of this log do as to the simple but compelling logic that the Ninth Amendment (and the Tenth as well) were not written as mere verbiage. The Founding Fathers did not write words in the Constitution for the sake of ornament.
Please do not be complacent readers, however, there is no doubt that this Senator Ted Cruz is a force to be reckoned with. He has worked with Ed Meese. He has worked with others and for other causes about which many readers will have strong feelings, no doubt. Senator Cruz also clerked for Chief Justice Rehnquist of the United States Supreme Court. As Solicitor General of Texas he successfully argued to keep many, many prisoners on death row whom a World Court already had decided should be taken off of it because of human rights violations in their trial proceedings. Senator Ted Cruz is someone interested parties would be most well advised to watch and work to follow their beliefs in influencing Texas politics. Texans cries out for justice..
Stranger stories there have been. And we have shared a few oddities here. But the world works in mysterious ways, and that is why we introduced this piece with the observation that the hundred year span we will be ending mid-century can well be expected to hold a great many mysteries for the historians to try to unravel. A final conundrum we leave readers with here is this. Mr. Cruz was born in Canada. However his mother was a United States Citizen. Apparently on that basis the "consensus" analysis is that Mr. Cruz COULD serve as United States President because his mother's status qualifies him as a "natural born citizen". We have not researched this, but we do not follow. To the editorial board of the Ninth Amendment the words of the Constitution sound unambiguous. We always took it for granted that they meant the United States President actually had to be born on U.S. soil. We just do not want any more coup d'etats around here. The election 2000 debacle proved the enduring wisdom of the Founding Fathers.

No mortal knows where this dizzying span will have led us in another quarter-century but the Ninth Amendment here predicts the historians of future eras certainly for no short time will puzzle, ponder, wonder, and no doubt make it their vocation to examine exactly what, went . . . .
Something in the spy-filled air of late gripping our great Nation not altogether surprisingly compelled our editorial staff this evening past to revisit in a noticeably unpolished Wikepedia piece on the late (we rather took for granted) disgraced Wisconsin United States Senator Joseph McCarthy in some wonderment the similarities to which our country seemed to have so soon again allowed itself to succumb to inchoate fears and have kept our eye so obediently on the ball therefore as to more or less unwittingly let mechanism of the witch-hunt gear up, again. The human tragedies of that 1950's era need not be revisited here, the slim reeds upon which they by most accounts all too often rested, and what we took to be the generally accepted conclusion that when the heat of the moment (and the Senator increasingly undeniably . . . .unwell as in ill) and resultant dust died down indeed a few traitors most likely had been exposed, punished, paid the price for treason. But what of the other sometimes estimated ninety-five per cent or so who most likely just had the misfortune to be named because, well, they had a name, and one seemed needed for the moment, their talents, their livelihood, their family, their life.... be damned?
