War Declared On Disabled Veterans By New Republican Congress Abusing Arcane Mechanism To Rob Wounded Warriors Veterans And All Disabled Of Their Social Security Benefits For Which GOP Will Regret And Pay Dearly

       Sunday, 11 January 2015, WASHINGTON, D.C. - This past week's newly seated Republican Congressional House members wasted no time in misusing an arcane budget sleight of hand as one of their first moves in office to rob this Nation's Wounded Warriors of their earned Social Security Disability benefits. To the best of the Ninth Amendment editorial board's knowledge not a single one of these cowardly "Tea Partier" Republican crybabies has ever spent a day serving this county in active combat in the armed services nor taken a bullet nor any other wound in defense of this country. Nor do or have any of their children served this country in a combat role in which they were wounded to the best of the Ninth Amendment's knowledge.

       Nevertheless these greedy tools of the ultra-rich have the audacity to slap this Nation's proud Wounded Warriors and others in the face seeking to outright rob them of benefits that they have earned through their sweat and their blood. These Republican House Congresspersons may talk bull until they are blue in the face about the "Right To Keep And Bear Arms" but how many of these spoiled phonies whose seats in our Government were bought for them by some of the greediest persons history has ever known such as for example the Koch Brothers could even handle a BB gun without shooting themselves in the foot?

       How many of these new GOP Congress thieves and lowlife have ever handled a fully automatic assault rifle? How many of them have been blown up or seen their comrades in arms torn to pieces by an IED? None. Well friends there are 9.4 million veterans including Wounded Warriors of all types suffering grave physical and emotional damage who are receiving barely enough to live in oppressed poverty on Social Security disability benefits while receiving what the Nation now knows to be totally inadequate medical care from the incompetent liars at the Veterans Administration. For these freshman Republican puppets to devote their first day in office piling more burdens on those for whom they have their liberty to thank is nothing more more than a disgrace. 

       And now a bunch of Republican nitwits and parasites many of whom have never before even served a single day in elected office actually have the gall to take enormous salaries not to mention enough bribes to last them a lifetime watching only their own while robbing America's disabled, its veterans, its wounded warriors all of whom are this Nation's true patriots and defenders of liberty of their pittance of Social Security disability benefits every meager dollar of which they earned under a contract with the United States Government to pay them their money back not to try to steal it like some crooked street three-card monte dealer when it is in fact supposed to be sacrosanct untouchable since the time of FDR.

       One thing we can all be sure about is that not a single one of these wretched Republican House Congresspersons would want to meet a single real veteran or wounded warrior in a dark alley even though it is in these dark shadows of deception where these 'Tea Partiers" and there Republican cronies choose to dwell.

       Wounded Warriors, veterans and the other disabled on Social Security disability unite! Show these Republican thieves in suits that though they may think they are easily going to get away with first robbing this Nation's most vulnerable and unable to defend themselves that they are in fact clueless enough actually to be trying to rob this Nation's strongest and most resilient, its warriors, its proud citizens with the strength to take on what challenges are thrown at them every day. Wounded warriors, veterans and all disabled let your voices be heard loud and strong from all those who claim to represent your interests and are paid to do so to the halls of Congress which if necessary you if anyone have the right to occupy. This is your land, your country which you have so proudly served and there is no time to waste in letting these pitiful Republicans who would rob their own grandmothers in a second that they are messing with the wrong group of people.

       And they better cut the crap right now because they have chosen the wrong people for sure to take on on a battlefield which they have never known, trying to steal from those who are the very reason they have any country to serve. Let them know loud and strong what a terrible mistake they are on the verge of making and that it will not be forgotten. Never forgotten. The time to act is now as these misguided Republican sick souls think this is but the first step in their assault on those whom they believe least able to defend themselves. Let them know loud and clear that it is not. This will be their last step before they learn fast how to run for cover and never venture again into unknown territory like a bunch of naive schoolgirls.

       Sunday, 14 September 2014, ANCHORAGE, AL - The wave of publicly exposed GOP criminal conduct which appears to be sweeping Republican public figures nationwide reportedly may have turned violent and spread from the "outside" lower forty-eight and up to inside the "Last Frontier" where the Sarah Palin clan apparently was at the epicenter of an Anchorage private party brawl which allegedly began after Republican moron Sarah Palin's son Track Palin attacked a former boyfriend of moron Sarah Palin's daughter Willow. Former losing GOP Vice-Presidential John McCain running mate and former GOP Alaska Governor moron Sarah Palin's snowmobiler husband celebrating his birthday reportedly also joined the Palin-incited brawl along with other members of the Palin clain including daughter Bristol Palin. She too had begun throwing punches at the homeowner hosting the gathering when Anchorage Police arrived at the scene.

       Although no arrests were made at the scene of the Palin-incited melee Anchorage Police said the local prosecutor may still independently decide to press charges. The hosts of the snowmachiners' (Alaska speak for snowmobiles) as well as construction workers and other "longtime Alaskans" gathering ordered the violent Palin brawling family to leave the party. They then did so in their stretch Hummer limousine while son Track Palin made a vulgar gesture with GOP moron Sarah Palin also "unleashing rounds of profanities" back at the remaining gathering. The police reported that alcohol was believed to be involved in the incident. 

       Meanwhile it is not known if the incident will harm Republican moron Sarah Palin's chances of again running for Vice President should he not be imprisoned and decide to run again despite the debacle of his last campaign beside Republican lane-duck federally indicted Texas Idiot Governor Rick "Payback" Perry. Perry was last known currently to be out of the country. Although he has killed at least one coyote "in defense of himself or his dog" with his laser-sighted six-shooter federally indicted on public corruption charges Perry facing a 99 year sentence has not yet otherwise been reported to have exhibited violent social tendencies in public gatherings. Shutdown + Economy = DISASTER.  It is so discouraging to have to witness this unbelievable Government Shutdown.  I, Little L can't tell you how many times I have had to Accept and Live with the will of the ALMIGHTY VOTE.  The people have spoken. The vote has been counted and OBAMACARE won.  This Shutdown is unnecessary.  This Shutdown is a result of Extortion, Extortion of the American People.  I for one am FURIOUS.  Ted Cruz (R) Senator from Texas, please Cruz on down the road..... I wish this Yahoooooo would Cruz on down the road. Go have a cup of tea and leave the Country to people who know how to Govern.  As if TEXAS didn't have enough to be sick about, now they have another disgrace to deal with and his name is TED CRUZ. Please Cruz on down the road TED. I know, I know Ted can not be blamed for all our problems, but he sure has asked for all the credit! I will never read "Green Eggs and Ham" again.....
     Parents from the start teach their children to follow the rules.  They tell their children that rules should be followed and that if they do not like a rule they work to have the rules changed through the appropriate channels.  Parents do not tell their children to break the rules, or to ignore the rules.  Parents also teach their children to respect the vote, they teach their children that voting is a privilege not a given, and that the vote is to be respected.  I have many friends and relatives who do not share my political beliefs.  I respect each and every one of them.
      I respect their right to have their opinion and their vote.  That is what makes this Nation of ours great.  The Government Shutdown is causing unnecessary hardship for American Citizens.  It does not discriminate, all classes, races, and ages are being affected.  I can't even enjoy TEA anymore, because it reminds me of the OBNOXIOUS TEA PARTY.  Power and Money, that is what this whole mess is about in my opinion.
     We the people, need to stand up and contact our public servants and express our complete dissatisfaction with what we see as a complete collapse of Good Judgement and Will of the Majority. Only this country to be rendered once again into the Republicans' timelessly failed recipe for repeated homeland economic disasters a la "Apocalypse Now", copyright the Doors, is our own fault.

       As best we recall before his Presidential inauguration speech had even begun Reagan's staff already had started working the front rows assuring luminaries such as then Searle President ("Pigheart") Cheney that that pesky aspartame ruling (causes brain cancer, does not everything?) would be reversed as soon as "Big Ron" could be taught to sign (no, NOT PRINT) his name to the orders to the FDA Administrator. No need to wait even until the Administrator could be replaced with someone more "enlightened", or should we say "encumbered" with the famous Cheney signature pallets of crisp new stacks of $100 bills straight from the mint press to the helipad do NOT pass time-consuming bill serial number recording.

BREAKING NEWS MANHATTAN: U.S. Drone Reportedly Crashes In Manhattan (After Government Gas Runs Out) Picked Up By Curious Bystander Who Examines Photocard

       Thursday, 3 October 2013, MANHATTAN- CBS Television News reported that just over SEVENTEEN HOURS AGO, when mostly freshman United States Representatives and their idiot House loser leader Boehner along with lost Senate Republican freshman prodigy Ted Cruz (no known relation to the actor) cut of the money for all Americans' headwear just as flu season started, cut off the temporary funds to keep the government afloat with temporary money, and forced the entire United States to stop work and defer paying millions of its Federal employees sending most of them home with no pay for the coming weeks. The Congress is not believed to have chosen to do the same to itself. Meanwhile as we prepared for press reports began coming in from CBS-TV news in New York that a (nonexistent) drone has crashed on a busy street (are they not all) in Manhattan? No government gas.
       Except the really important adolescents who work for the National Security Agencies and those who pack lox lunches and dinners for the generally heavier old Republicans before they go home and pat themselves on the back, Senator Cruz reportedly was either delirious or under the influence of borderline "brain death". Not unlike his beloved protege lame duck Texas "Village Idiot" Rick "Payback" Perry had been at the now infamous Republican nationally televised "Perry brain freeze". Whatever the case Cruz is a Senator with high hopes in the Republican party for carrying the mantle of the "Tea Party Republicans" boldly into the fully forseeable budget disaster which awaits us all.
       Although frugal California Governor Jerry Brown has not ever even been known to set foot in his "California" limo or mothballed "mansion", Texas Brain Duck Governor George "little shrub" Perry could be seen to once again shed a crocodile tear as Bush gleefully loaded his laser-sighted six shooter with some extra bullets in his mouth for good luck. "Better bullets than bandaids" the really extremely  short Perry reportedly quipped as he accidentally clipped a tree beside his beloved Labrador and sent his bodyguards diving for cover from his errant bullets which could have bought vaccine for a whole clinic.
       As reported here some weeks ago the relatively tiny and shrinking number of Texas "Tea Party" dupes see Perry idiot protege Senator Steve Cruz as the flag bearer of the "Tea Party" mantle that confused ignorant hope for salvation, having squandered earlier money on nonexistent coyote problems and boldly living out the fantasy of the "Tea Party King". (Some of those American Republicans sure do like Kings, like George of England.) They know on which side their toast is dusted.
       So Senator Cruz finally last night had to be physically escorted from the House of Representatives reminded that he is a big Senator now but NOT also a Congressional Republican Representative who does NOT get to vote twice to dump our Nation's living and eating money as might have been expected by this latest disastrous Republican financial "hero of ruin".
       And just the most recent Republican to take the Country down the sewer drain amidst fear, stupidity and recrimination. The most memorable last financial disaster of a sick fear-mongering Republican, well that would of course be just another long-time dope addict's run taking the Country along on the road to financial ruin was Republican star Senator McCarthy. As Cruz quivered wondering what next Mengelian medical research hare-brained scheme Republicans (many of whom are too stupid to marticulate from an accredited United States Law School and in any case not be able to succeed on their medical boards without a good deal of  grease-fillled Republican hand-squeezing).
      At least Senator Cruz can take comfort that he is not the only one in over his had as clearly now after his SECOND totally failed chance to divert further compounding of Republican-created disasters in a totally bad faith disingenuous last minute call unbelievably AGAIN to meet with President Obama TWENTY MINUTES before they lock up the government BOEHNER a COUPLE YEARS LATER STILL WANTS TO BE PLAYING with dredging up decades of yet more new dead old issues in a desperate attempt to run down the clock. The United States does not just have to close up the public restroom here and say, phew! that was a close one.
       And they even try to make the Republicans look like someone's heroes? Who their mothers? Do the Republicans WHO CAN ALWAYS SEE THE DOCTOR WHENEVER THEY WANT really believe that for making sure that the Americans' long ago duly fully legally passed universal health care is further diverted while these Speaker Boehner and fellow turkey Republicans play cock-a-doodle-doo with the real hard-working Americns' need for life and death health care now is going to make them some kind of heroes for thinking up stupid old lies as fast they can to kill off the people who voted for them?
       Now that is over how about a litttle time to go out and get a little cash in the palms, eh eh? Heck, their voters can wait all day in the emergency room for basic medical care (paid for by the State not the Feds mind you readers) for a while longer just like always (and probably catch something far worse while they are waiting in that germ pit.)
       No dice for the hot shot Republicans until after they have gone round and gotten paid off by all their insurance company pals and the people THOSE REPUBLICANS REALLY REPRESENT. We know they will be going to see their doctors in the morning, getting paid their Congressional salaries and honorariums and a little of this and a little of that just a small gift oh just fine, and sitting down for a nice steak dinner for lunch before they go to sleep with a job well -- NOT done. But just that one last thing must be sure to collect the dues BEFORE the pressure is off, right?  Oh yes indeed it is business as usual in the Grand Old Party, just do not get stomped on (or worse) by that big old elephant. . . . . Because we will sure want to see you still when we need next need you.

       Thursday, 1 August 2013, HAVANA - Readers your attention and patience please for the evolving prediction of the editorial board of the Ninth Amendment log that this current American century-span, roughly defined as commencing with the storming by the Allied Forces led from the West by the United States military racing into literal collision at Hitler's besieged Berlin Fuhrerbunker with the crush of Stalinist Russian masses from the East, soon eclipsed by the so-called "atomic" bombings of Nagasaki and within days Hiroshima, through the paroxysms of "McCarthyism" here at home from the Atlantic seaboard clear to sunny Hollywood on the Pacific Coast, the overseas global Cold War now known indeed to have brought our planet Earth to the very brink of extinction from a conflagration with the Communists off the shores of Cuba, and all that has since followed right up to the present with the United States heir apparent Superpower now its greatest towers smashed but feverishly rebuilt yet inexorably losing its grip on that mantle (F-35 "weapons system" or not we are afraid) to the undeniable gravitational force of the burgeoning population black hole of the Far East as the mid-East writhes in the seasons of its discontent, only that we now should suffer for some surely unfathomable reason the murmurings of another but this time self-inflicted, what?..... "Tea Party"!
       No mortal knows where this dizzying span will have led us in another quarter-century but the Ninth Amendment here predicts the historians of future eras certainly for no short time will puzzle, ponder, wonder, and no doubt make it their vocation to examine exactly what, went . . . .
       Something in the spy-filled air of late gripping our great Nation not altogether surprisingly compelled our editorial staff this evening past to revisit in a noticeably unpolished Wikepedia piece on the late (we rather took for granted) disgraced Wisconsin United States Senator Joseph McCarthy in some wonderment the similarities to which our country seemed to have so soon again allowed itself to succumb to inchoate fears and have kept our eye so obediently on the ball therefore as to more or less unwittingly let mechanism of the witch-hunt gear up, again. The human tragedies of that 1950's era need not be revisited here, the slim reeds upon which they by most accounts all too often rested, and what we took to be the generally accepted conclusion that when the heat of the moment (and the Senator increasingly undeniably . . . .unwell as in ill) and resultant dust died down indeed a few traitors most likely had been exposed, punished, paid the price for treason. But what of the other sometimes estimated ninety-five per cent or so who most likely just had the misfortune to be named because, well, they had a name, and one seemed needed for the moment, their talents, their livelihood, their family, their life.... be damned?
       Somehow the story when it unraveled really did seem to have become stranger than fiction to use that worn cliche. Senator McCarthy apparent champion of all American and not aberrant quite undeniably himself turning out to be, well, a heroin addict? Maybe not, but no one seemed to do much more than turn away in disgust as it really was beyond denying that he was at least a screaming alcoholic, even in his heydey, with at least a serious morphine addiction perhaps to relieve the effects of the alcohol. Somehow when the time came most apparently was more or less overlooked, or at least very downplayed.
       Downplayed n fact by the very one who first quite publicly revealed it in his early 1960's memoir, that is except for leaving out the Senator's name (as if too many personalities of that era fit the bill). But at this point the historians are all sure to find it rather just getting a little too odd to ignore. The person who of course revealed the Senator's addiction was none other than the Nation's universally acknowledged and still longest tenured drug czar in United States history. Commissioner Harry J. Anslinger of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics (successor to the Prohibition era bureau) for an unprecedented and needless to say never repeated period of thirty-two years spanning from 1930 to 1962.
        And then the story becomes really strange. Commissioner Anslinger in fact it turns out had a while before become aware of Senator McCarthy's habits as he had acknowledged, and in the end agreed to make arrangements with a local Washington, D.C. pharmacist that the Senator would receive a steady supply of morphine. Apparently in the end the Commissioner was convinced by Senator McCarthy that should the truth come out it would mean the "end of the Free World" or roughly those words. It was thought better meanwhile to concentrate on blaming the opiate menace on the Communist nations abroad. Remarkably when this information more or less came to light including with the Commissioner's publication of his memoirs, no one really seemed to care that much at all about the matter, McCarthy having sometime ago fallen from grace. Or so it seemed. Meanwhile despite his apparent knowledge of this situation President John F. Kennedy actually appointed the Commissioner's to a further term even in light of the knowledge that he had been allegedly condoning the supply of drugs to McCarthy.
       And there readers we find ourselves more or less come up to the present day. Apparently Senator Joseph McCarthy has had a resurgence as a voice of today's Tea Party movement. The heroin rumor reportedly was never that well disseminated. Apparently if the Senator's heavy drinking at night necessitated the assistance of some other opiate to get through the hearings of the following day, that might even be understood for the sake of the country. Or so went the reasoning. After all it was for a good cause, or so the thinking of some has gone so far as to justify the casualties to others and to the Senator himself along the way.
     Finally as if to come perhaps full circle or full something in any case today there is in the growing movement of Senator McCarthy's resurgence a body of support amongst the Tea Party movement. And somehow, the  new junior Senator from Texas Ted Cruz has come to be associated with it.  The editorial board of the Ninth Amendment wishes to emphasize that there is no connection whatsoever suggested between the personal habits of Senators McCarthy and Cruz, however readers who care to delve into the subject of oddities in the remarkable life of Senator Cruz we believe will be most surprised at coincidences that seem again beyond imagining.
       Senator Ted Cruz is no Rick Perry. He is not brain dead still standing. Professor Allen Dershowitz reportedly has acknowledged that he is absolutely brilliant, no holds barred. He has held positions and for tenures that have been unheard of before for a person of his young age. He graduated Princeton University nearly a decade after some of the editorial staff of this log. Yet oddly his father fought with Castro for the Cuban Revolution, although he apparently had said he "did not know Castro was a Communist". Perhaps most oddly for us, Senator Cruz actually is a scholar of the last two of the Bill of Rights, believing in the same tenets as the editors of this log do as to the simple but compelling logic that the Ninth Amendment (and the Tenth as well) were not written as mere verbiage. The Founding Fathers did not write words in the Constitution for the sake of ornament.
       Please do not be complacent readers, however, there is no doubt that this Senator Ted Cruz is a force to be reckoned with. He has worked with Ed Meese. He has worked with others and for other causes about which many readers will have strong feelings, no doubt. Senator Cruz also clerked for Chief Justice Rehnquist of the United States Supreme Court. As Solicitor General of Texas he successfully argued to keep many, many prisoners on death row whom a World Court already had decided should be taken off of it because of human rights violations in their trial proceedings. Senator Ted Cruz is someone interested parties would be most well advised to watch and work to follow their beliefs in influencing Texas politics. Texans cries out for justice..
       Stranger stories there have been. And we have shared a few oddities here. But the world works in mysterious ways, and that is why we introduced this piece with the observation that the hundred year span we will be ending mid-century can well be expected to hold  a great many mysteries for the historians to try to unravel. A final conundrum we leave readers with here is this. Mr. Cruz was born in Canada. However his mother was a United States Citizen. Apparently on that basis the "consensus" analysis is that Mr. Cruz COULD serve as United States President because his mother's status qualifies him as a "natural born citizen". We have not researched this, but we do not follow. To the editorial board of the Ninth Amendment the words of the Constitution sound unambiguous. We always took it for granted that they meant the United States President actually had to be born on U.S. soil. We just do not want any more coup d'etats around here. The election 2000 debacle proved the enduring wisdom of the Founding Fathers.
