Amphetamine Isomer BMPEA Mimics Powerful Stimulant Amphetamines Is Still Found In U.S. Stores As Industry-Dominated F.D.A. Under Attack For Failure To Act Even Months After Canadian Authorities Pull BMPEA Stimulant

Wednesday, 8 April 2015, NEW YORK, NY - The amphetamine isomer BMPEA nearly identical to amphetamines and first synthesized in the early 1930's as an amphetamine alternative which allegedly mimics amphetamine effects and poses some of the same dangers yesterday was identified in several dietary supplements currently for sale in U.S. vitamin and nutrition stores labelled under the plant name Acacia Rigidula in a study led by Dr. Peter A. Cohen an assistant Harvard professor published yesterday in the journal Drug Testing And Analysis.
The New York Times Well Blog by Anahad O'Connor (not identified as a physician) dated late yesterday with a version published in today's New York Edition of the paper at page A1 under the headline "Study Warns of Diet Supplements Kept Quiet By F.D.A." identifies some of the supplements including photographs of products apparently still on U.S. store shelves including the amounts of BMPEA each contains for consumers concerned that the reportedly industry dominated United States Food and Drug Administration (F.D.A.) is allowing dangerous supplements still to be sold on U.S. store shelves (as well as presumably on the internet).
Canadian health authorities in December 2014 pulled the BMPEA-containing supplement "JetFuel Superburn" from store shelves calling the chemical BMPEA a "serious health risk" although the below-linked article identifies the supplement apparently still for sale as late as yesterday as well as JetFuel T300 and MX-LS7 identified in the above study at the article's singled-out Vitamin Shoppe (presumably because the article's author did not have time to visit all vitamin and supplement stores to check if they also sold it). The study in addition listed Aro Series Burn, Black Widow, Dexaprine XR, Fastin-XR, Lipodrene Hardcore, Lipodrene Xtreme, Stimerex-ES and Yellow Scorpion as containing BMPEA. All are pictured in the below-linked article with the number of grams per serving shown under each.
BMPEA reportedly is closely related in physiological characteristics to DMAA described as an "amphetamine-like stimulant that can cause heart attacks and strokes", as presumably can any amphetamine or amphetamine isomer. DMAA was banned by the U.S. Department of Defense from military bases in 2011, and the FDA issued a health warning about the chemical DMAA sixteen months after Australia, Britain, Canada and Sweden banned it.
Interested readers may find at the below link significantly more information on the above as well as an examination of an F.D.A. history of allegedly industry-dominated decisions made by F.D.A. officials apparently in the industry-government "revolving door" criticized as dominating many federal agency decisions. Readers wishing to go directly to the Drug Testing And Analysis study published yesterday can go to the second link below which link also is contained in the text of the first link directly below.

UPDATED: Snowden Honored By Monument Soon After Removed By Authorities In New York In Act Of "Censorship" New York Times Reports

Monday, 6 September 2015, BROOKLYN, NY - A monument honoring the United States National Security Agency (NSA) blatantly unconstitutional mass domestic surveillance whistle-blower Edward J. Snowden with a sculptured bust of Mr. Snowden's head atop and "SNOWDEN" at its base erected in Brooklyn's Fort Greene Park by an anonymous group was "censored" by New York authorities who soon covered and then removed it. Interested readers can go to the below link for more information including a photograph of the Snowden monument with his bust atop. The New York Times later published a second version of the story Tuesday, 7 April 2015 which readers can find at the second link below showing authorities in the act of covering the bust. Mr. Snowden currently is exiled in Russia.

Canada Welcomes Drones Commercially At Secret Amazon British Columbia Test Base And Other Test And Research Centers In Alberta And Quebec As Well As Widespread Commercial Drone Use Authorized In Canadian Airspace

Monday, 6 April 2015, OTTAWA - Even while the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has approached the use of commercial drones in United States airspace with great caution granting only 69 commercial drone authorizations to date, perhaps mindful that more than a few presumably amateur use drones nearly have collided with large commercial aircraft including as previously reported here in the Ninth Amendment at New York's Kennedy International Airport (JFK) with several near potential disasters involving passenger airliners in a period of a few days, the Canadian government has embraced the testing and use of commercial drones throughout that country with Transport Canada headed by Minister Lisa Raitt last year alone apparently enthusiastically issuing more than 1,600 permits for the widespread use of commercial unmanned drone aircraft in that country which already are deployed actively in Canadian airspace reportedly by about 110 commercial drone companies regularly in use by the movie and television industry, oil and gas companies, forestry companies and farmers. Government including military and surveillance use was not mentioned.
The Guardian newspaper has identified a British Columbia secret Amazon experimental drone test base in sight of the United States border but with neither that paper reporting nor Amazon revealing its exact location. Canadian enthusiasm for the "tiny helicopters" also is reflected by an Alberta-based unmanned aircraft test center run by a nonprofit group as well as a research and test center in Quebec run under the auspices of an unidentified party or entity.
Robert Kendall the executive director of the "educational and industry group" Unmanned Systems Canada is hopeful of the potential for the export of Canadian experience and use of commercial unmanned drones into the United States with what he expects will be the FAA's eventual approval of their "widespread" use in the U.S. Meanwhile he claims that Transport Canada has a significant advantage in authorizing commercial drones use as in his estimation the United States has about twenty (20) times more air traffic than Canada citing increased "risks" in the U.S. presumably of the possibility of disastrous air crashes including those such as have nearly occurred with large commercial aircraft in the U.S. such as those above-cited reported near misses at JFK aircraft in which concerned pilots voiced their fears that even the presumably amateur drones could easily bring down large commercial airliners with devastating consequences.
Readers interested in more information can go to the link below to the New York Times blog on the subject of Canadian enthusiasm for commercial drone experimentation, testing, development and use first published in the Times within the past week which also contains links therein to the above-mentioned Guardian newspaper article as well as links to information about the referenced Alberta and Quebec commercial drone centers.

Sophisticated Hackattack On Anti-Censorship Tools To Circumvent Chinese Great Firewall Inserted Malicious Code Via Baidu Search To Disable GreatFire

Sunday, 5 April 2015, WASHINGTON, D.C. - An unidentified party or entity (whose identity is widely suspected) about ten days ago used a sophisticated hackattack aimed at anti-censorship tools provided by GreatFire which allow Chinese internet users to circumvent the Chinese "Great Firewall". The attack directed the popular Chinese search function Baidu via ads to insert malicious code in websites directing unknowing visitors' browsers to flood and therefore disable the GreatFire website which hosts two anti-censorship tools reportedly for example allowing Chinese users to circumvent the Great Firewall in order to read the New York Times.
The attack originated outside of China raising suspicions as to its origin. In addition to obvious concerns about the hackattack's stifling of free speech it also is of significant concern because it for a period disabled the widely used Github website hosting Greatfire. Github is very widely used including by many programmers and even the United States government. This is not the first time the Github website has been disabled by an attack flooding and overwhelming it.
Readers interested in more information detailing the method of attack as well as its consequences and suspected origin can go to the below link to the Washington Post article of 27 March 2015 reporting this sophisticated hackattack.

U.S. Tech Giants In Crosshairs Of Europe Regulators As Antitrust, Privacy And Other Inquiries Of Google, Facebook, Apple And Amazon Intensify

Saturday, 4 April 2015, LONDON, ENGLAND - Although the halcyon days may be continuing to the present in the United States for giant tech companies Google, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon and others given the longtime lassitude of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) in its enforcement of U.S. antitrust laws and Americans' privacy rights taking a far back seat to many of these tech monsters' documented collusion along with telecommunications companies with the United States' spy agencies, with the CIA for example even having ownership and joint partnership interests with Google and these companies routinely feeding information to the NSA and other unconstitutional domestic spying apparatus, with the occasional charade of sham suits by these filthy rich tech behemoths back against the U.S. government in lame disingenuous efforts to demonstrate to the American people that they are are not part of the U.S. government's out of control grossly unconstitutional domestic spying ubiquitous tentacles as exposed most dramatically by the the staggering NSA universal domestic spying disclosures by Booz Allen contractor Edward J. Snowden, European regulators nevertheless reportedly are losing all patience with the abuses and encroachments of these American tech giants acting in flagrant violation of European anti-trust laws and routine invasions of European citizens' privacy.
The list of American tech monsters' physical and internet invasion of Europe especially via Ireland is well documented in previous partial European regulators' inquiries and assessment of enormous essentially meaningless fines as well as court rulings seeking to curb American tech giants' encroachments extending right into Europeans' homes in flagrant violation of free market principles and core privacy rights where a company such as Google reportedly controls 80% of internet searches effectively dictating what information European citizens will and will not see including about each other as well as undoubtedly making this information readily available to American spy agencies such as the CIA and NSA which routinely share it with the British spook octopus GCHQ which according to Mr. Snowden is even far worse in its citizen surveillance abuses than its American counterparts if such is imaginable.
Now European regulators reportedly have these U.S. technology giants in their crosshairs with the loudest complaints perhaps against Google's market domination and Facebook's laughable "privacy" policies just being the tip of the iceberg. Meanwhile in the United States it is not known if the Obama administration will order DOJ out of its dormancy while on the issue of the rank constitutional abuses of the NSA, CIA, FBI and so-called "alphabet soup" of American spy agencies the very telling sunset, i.e., end of several supposedly empowering sections supporting their illegal actions of the loathsome "Patriot Act" will be allowed to expire or will be extended by a Republican-controlled Congress seemingly incapable of doing anything positive and given the Obama Administration's latest betrayal of its voter base by taking the position that the Bush-Cheney midnight-created monstrosity should be extended.
To date however the Obama Administration has said it will not intervene to preserve the expiring provisions of the clearly unconstitutional "law" which if anything has played right into the hands of terrorists by wrenching the fabric of fundamental American values but will allow this grotesque blemish on United States legislative history to slowly and painfully die its long-overdue death as by all accounts of their debates to the Founding Fathers it no doubt immediately would have been declared "DOA" dead on arrival.
Interested readers in the below linked-to article can find many more specifics touching on some of European regulators past actions against U.S. tech giants as well as more details as to what these U.S. monsters "stomping the terra" to quote Dr. Hunter S. Thompson can anticipate coming at them hard from European regulators in the not-too-distant future.

Johns Hopkins Sued For $1 Billion By 750 Over Program Which Intentionally Infected Participants With Syphilis, Gonorrhea And Other Venereal Diseases

Friday, 3 April 2015, BALTIMORE, MD - The Johns Hopkins Hospital System affiliated with The Johns Hopkins University (Johns Hopkins) widely regarded as one of the best of institutions of its kind in the world was sued for $1 billion on Wednesday by "study" participants as well as their spouses and children for Johns Hopkins' "substantial influence" including controlling advisory panels and planning and authorizing medical experiments in which study participants were intentionally infected with sexually transmitted diseases including syphilis, gonorrhea and other venereal diseases the Associated Press (AP) reports.
The plaintiffs number 750 study participants as well as their family members. According to the AP this is the latest suit over medical experiments allegedly substantially conducted by Johns Hopkins in Guatemala in the 1940s and 1950s in which the subjects were infected with venereal diseases under the auspices of a United States government program. One Johns Hopkins lawyer reportedly called the charges "baseless". Previously in 2012 a federal judge dismissed a lawsuit against the federal government based on the same medical experiments on unspecified grounds.
Interested readers may refer for to the below link for more information about the AP report including links for those interested in more information about gonorrhea, syphilis and venereal diseases.

Obama Commutes 22 Drug Offenders Sentences All To Be Released From Federal Prisons - "Wave" Of Thousands Of Drug Commutations May Follow

Thursday, 2 April 2015, WASHINGTON, D.C. - Just as multitudes of corrupt U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) agents have been revealed to have been for years slapped on the wrist or not even that but moreover shielded by superiors for crimes much worse including most recently suspended for just two to 10 days for admitting to accepting money, weapons and expensive gifts while cavorting with prostitutes at "Feds Gone Wild" (N.Y. Times) parties hosted by drug cartels, President Obama this past Tuesday commuted the sentences of 22 drug offenders all but one of whom will now be released from federal prison by 28 July 2015. Eight were serving life sentences including one federal prisoner serving life in prison for growing and conspiracy to harvest a large amount of marijuana plants. Others were reaching advanced ages and/or sentenced under outdated guidelines and laws.
In the past year the Obama Administration has encouraged non-violent drug offenders to apply for commutations shortening their federal prison sentences. The Department of Justice (DOJ) since has received thousands of such applications. Some expect that the 22 commutations announced Tuesday which outnumber all previously granted by President Obama in six years as President may signal the beginning of a "wave" of as many as thousands more commutations which only the President may grant in his final two years in office. Interested readers may find more information in the three articles linked to below.

UPDATED: DEA And Secret Service Agents Charged With Money Laundering And Wire Fraud (DEA Agent Also With Theft Of Government Property And Conflict Of Interest) Allegedly Committed Investigating Notorious "Silk Road" Dark Web Black-Market Drug / Other Contraband Bitcoin Sales Site Founder

Wednesday, 1 April 2015, NEW YORK, NY - The United States government Monday in San Francisco federal court criminally charged DEA Special Agent Carl Mark Force IV and Secret Service Agent Shaun W. Bridges with unlawfully enriching themselves while conducting an undercover investigation of the founder Ross W. Ulbricht allegedly aka "Dread Pirate Roberts" of the popular notorious virtually untraceable Silk Road dark web black-market website infamous for its equally virtually untraceable sales by a thousand drug dealers of hundreds of kilograms of illegal drugs to 100,000 buyers and other contraband also with equally virtually untraceable Bitcoin currency sales transactions often delivering such items by mail right to people's doors according to a former FBI agent interviewed on CNN's "Inside Man" who related that shortly after the site was shut down in 2013 it simply re-emerged shortly thereafter as Silk Road II. DEA Special Agent Force resigned in 2014 and Secret Service Agent Bridges in March 2015 both upon learning they were under investigation by the U.S. government for corruption.
Following a Manhattan-based investigation site founder Mr. Ulbricht was charged and despite maintaining his innocence in ongoing operations of Silk Road except being pulled back in as a "fall guy" was convicted last month on "numerous" counts according to the New York Times article linked to below with upcoming sentencing at which he faces life in prison. While Mr. Ulbricht's attorney contends that the charges brought by the U.S. government against its own recently resigned agents undermine the government's case brought against Mr. Ulbricht the U.S. government contends that the criminally charged DEA and Secret Service Agents worked out of a Baltimore-based task force while the Manhattan-based investigation proceeded on an "separate and independent" track.
Although Mr. Ulbricht's attorney complained that the U.S. government had not revealed the extent of its DEA and Secret Service Agents' alleged corruption during the investigation the Court ruled that evidence of it could be kept out of Mr. Ulbricht's trial on charges still pending from the allegedly "separate and independent" track of the Baltimore task force investigation as the Court ruled the charges related only to U.S. government agents' corruption.
The criminal complaint unsealed in San Francisco federal court Monday alleged that U.S. DEA Agent Force in the course of the investigation "stole and converted to his personal use a sizable amount of Bitcoins," the currency used in the undercover investigation, totaling at least $778,000. "Rather than turning the Bitcoin over to the government, Force deposited them into his own personal accounts." DEA Agent Force also in addition to allegedly attempting to extort $250,000 from Dread Pirate Roberts upon telling him he was a U.S. government agent did in fact allegedly receive a $50,000 payment from Dread Pirate Roberts for providing him with allegedly "inside" law enforcement information. Meanwhile the federal government charged in its unsealed San Francisco complaint that its Secret Service Agent Bridges a computer forensics expert diverted more than $800,000 to his own personal account in the course of the undercover investigation.
Readers interested in more information can refer to the link to the New York Times article below which itself contains details of and a link to more information of the concluded case against Mr. Ulbricht as well as a link to a copy of the U.S. government complaint unsealed Monday in San Francisco federal court against its former DEA Agent Force and Special Service Agent Bridges who maintain their innocence.
[UPDATED] In the newly added second link below readers may find further details from the complaint unsealed in San Francisco including some of the scenes playing out behind the scenes regarding the undercover investigation including its impacts on the case brought in New York federal court against Mr. Ulbricht resulting in his conviction on several counts for which as mentioned above he may face life in prison.
