Dear Martin --
We’re getting real tired of Gov. Rick Perry’s headlines (again and again) for allowing corruption and insider deals to flourish in Texas under his watch.
The most recent scandal? A Perry appointee allowed millions in government contracts to flow to a little-known corporation because of insider dealing, not competition. Sound familiar?
Texas deserves better than this. We believe it’s time to end the culture of corruption in Texas. We will keep vigorously fighting misuse of taxpayer dollars by Texas Republicans.
2014 was a tough year, but there’s still so much work to be done. That starts with making sure Greg Abbott doesn’t continue Rick Perry’s culture of corruption.
The team here will be working 365 days next year to end corruption in Texas by:
- supporting laws that promote good government,
- advocating for laws that protect all Texans and our great Texas businesses,
- and shining a much needed spot light on Texas Republicans who try to game the system for their own benefit.
We have just four days to reach our 2014 goal. Can you help us by donating today to fund our work in 2015?
Let’s send a clear message that we’re ready to fight back and demand the government Texans deserve.
Thanks for your continued support, and here’s to a thriving and busy 2015 for Texas Democrats!
