Cheap! Cheap! Air Travel Flights Guaranteed Lowest Cross-United States, Atlantic, New York, Newark, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston Best Fares WE DO NOT KNOW OF WHAT WE WRITE

Tuesday, 28 August 2012, ABOARD SOUTHWEST AIRLINES CHECKED IN-FLIGHT BAGGAGE - The Ninth Amendment for as always the benefit of our dear readers here attempts a small experiment not in the Gonzo political arena but instead information fares cut-rate air travel for our readers perhaps not yet in the top one per cent and with some baggage to check.
We first must remind readers to avoid reading FREE UNLIMITED NEW YORK TIMES DIGITAL CONTENT SIMPLY BY SETTING READERS' FREE FIREFOX BROWSERS TO "PRIVATE BROWSING".  Because the Ninth Amendment's high percentage reduction in medicine prices for consumers has proven to be one of our most popular posts ever, we thought we might give this SUPER LOW COST CHEAP AIR TRAVEL post a whirl. Our equally sincere Discount Tires endorsement based solely upon personal staff experience and absolutely no collusion from us has for reasons beyond us not proven to be nearly so popular at least according to almighty Google statistics.
As with the earlier low medicine price and sound vehicle tire purchase posts our readers have our absolute assurance that this post has been conceived and delivered solely with readers' pocketbooks' benefit in mind. The Ninth Amendment as with the earlier posts has had absolutely NO COMMUNICATION, OFFER OF REMUNERATION or anything else of the kind in mind or practice in presenting this beta post on LOW COST AIR TRAVEL. As for the ads on the right of the page, Google controls those and for reasons which we do not understand nor explore we have NEVER received any percentage of those ads (although apparently the Ninth Amendment is supposed to "share in the windfall").
Rather today the editorial staff and global bureaus of the Ninth Amendment are most interested to see if we might manipulate our massive master Google alleged at least at one time as "intellect of the internet" into placing some ads that may benefit our readers. Okay, let us keep this one simple cheap air travel low cost guaranteed best prices, and here goes.
Alas we do remember the days of People Express, Laker, World, Air Florida, and so on when for less than one hundred dollars we could fly cross-country United States, Atlantic Ocean to London (generally Gatwick) and scariest of all in covering the Rhodesian War the airline later known as "Air Zimbabwe" which served drinks in GLASS before the flight attendants retired to sleep for the rest of the flights to formerly Salisbury (now Harare) peacefully on the floor of the rear rows of the aircraft.
We noticed our last post drew a Virgin America ad so let us try seeing if we might get some along the lines of Southwest with the free baggage check, and any number of others such as Expedia, Hotels.com, and scores of others. In the early days we remember it was done by us over the phone on "Cheap Tickets" which today we note when last we looked on its site presented across-the-board lowest airfares on a variety of airlines then allowing us to avoid the hassle of dealing with "Cheap Tickets" and instead receiving the fares (and flight miles!) in direct contact with the identified airlines requesting the same fares on the same flights we had just seen advertised on the consolidator.
Now if readers followed that technique, readers certainly have got some potential even if readers do happen to be with us in that sad lot of the lower ninety-nine per cent! Here goes. Let us hopefully choose some valuable keywords for the benefit of our readers and see what kind of action we draw on the cheapest, guaranteed lowest, we will not be beat air travel across the United States and why not, over to Europe, and, what the heck BEST FARES TO HAWAII and the PACIFIC ISLANDS to boot. Hope to raise readers' standard of living and at the same time lower readers' hours ideally to nil of, ugh, work to earn dollars which may need not ever be spent.
In the spirit of our founding document namely the United States Constitution we do feel compelled to remind or inform readers as the case may be that we as laypeople not lawyers did read somewhere that TRAVEL has been found to be an ABSOLUTE FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT under the United States Constitution. Our own legal advisers suggest we politely and clearly utter that one in the face of "Security" the next time at the airport Ninth Amendment readers get kicked around by some crude, rude, corrupt. loser Transportation Security Agency (TSA) idiot.
WE ARE NEITHER LICENSED NOR QUALIFIED TO OFFER ANY LEGAL ADVICE WHATSOEVER NOR DO WE IN ANY WAY HOLD OURSELVES OUT TO DO SO, but were it us we immediately if "taken" toward some cubicle would POLITELY AND CLEARLY SAY but THREE THINGS we think we saw on a TV show, "I DEMAND A LAWYER NOW", "TRAVEL IS MY FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT UNDER THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION", AND "ACLU IS MY COUNSEL". After that our lips stay sealed. BUT OF COURSE AS ALWAYS READERS MUST CONSULT THEIR OWN PAID OR FREE LEGAL COUNSEL for any and all LEGAL ADVICE, which this in NO WAY PURPORTS TO BE. We "Consent" to NOTHING.
Safe travels and God Bless America.

Pure Evil Republican Politicos Romney "Dog Ate My Overseas Tax Forms", Christie "Me Tough Talkin' Joisie-Boy", Ryan "Help the Rich More, Please" Hammered By NY Times' Nobel Winner Krugman As Glad to Kill Poor For A Buck

Tuesday, 28 August 2012, NEW YORK, NEW YORK -Today's Ninth Amendment post here including our comments digitally published yesterday in the New York Times in response to Professor Krugman's now continuing exposure and "deconstruction" of Republicans and their candidates' endless stream of complete misrepresentations namely pure lies in the 2012 Presidential election campaign follows our familiar reminder to readers please to AVOID UNLIMITED FREE ACCESS TO DIGITAL CONTENT OF THE NEW YORK TIMES SIMPLY THROUGH THE USE OF READERS' FREE FIREFOX BROWSERS SET TO "PRIVATE BROWSING".
Our editorial board sends out a continuing deafening robust greeting to its audited worldwide audience of loyal, new, and unintentional readers alike. This further is occasioned by the Ninth Amendment's internal universal excitement over the much-heralded and immensely gratifying return of the remarkable multi-talented "heart for the world" Little L after months of participation in all facets of publication from stations relatively near home to the ends of the world. The Ninth Amendment sincerely hopes to have the opportunity to share with readers some terrifically enlightening images and other media of her adventures and unparalleled years of experience from the exotic to the exquisitely professional in every sense of the word.
Also continuing publication of the Ninth Amendment log it would seem by growing apparent evidence will greatly enhance readers' experience due to the further enigmatic participation and profoundly masterful addition of "Big Big Joe's" technical, language, cryptographic and all manner of scientific and other seeming wizardry in his universally recognized unmatched deeply advanced comprehension of computer theory and practice. Since his early work in once beneficent activities on behalf of the United States Government "Big Big Joe's" has been an unchallenged reputation as THE force with which to be reckoned.
Finally we conclude the Ninth Amendment's conveyance to our readers of the growing excitement here of the very real possibilities of the availability of further exceptional human resources for the enhancement of readers' experience of the log, learning further information of true significance and enduring value at an exponential pace. Namely as of this moment all efforts known to be possible are being made to locate and secure the participation of the highly taciturn genius, the Professor Doctor Bernard Bernowsky (for partial educational degree listings readers please see favorite encyclopaedic source on "Academics, Scholars and Others Recognized As Having Altered The Course of Human Thought".
The Ninth Amendment now gets on with our continuing humble efforts in our most modest of ways to attempt to help preserve the legacy and historic endurance of the great force of creation behind "Gonzo" journalism, the late great Dr. Hunter S. Thompson. We salute the San Francisco Weekly (a publication of the Village Voice) for itself now having picked up the mantle in its cover reporting on the upcoming Tampa Republican National Convention.
VERBATIM NINTH AMENDMENT COMMENT DIGITALLY PUBLISHED IN YESTERDAY'S NEW YORK TIMES RESPONDING TO PROFESSOR KRUGMAN
"REPUBLICAN LIARS" BLOG

Dear Prof. Krugman, What happened here? We take the IXth Amendment log www.waronnothing.blogspot.com off the grid a few months simply in the words of the great Dr. Hunter S. Thompson due to an "ugly misunderstanding" to regroup in the spirit of General George Washington, next we know we respectfully find on top of all else now you endure a (doubtless well-meaning) bunch of yahoos from the other side of nowhere lecturing you on your fitness to serve as a Princeton Professor, the value of that institution to the state of N.J. and the rest of the Country to boot. Cut us a break. Ourselves all to the best of our recollections actually having successfully matriculated from that great institution with mostly empty pockets then (and now) we arguably are as qualified as they to pass on that contrary to their delusions that if they can get in to New Jersey's first public college, they can go there. Period. Money has zero to do with that. Carry on, Soldier, like President Woodrow Wilson of both Princeton and later the USA in WWI, we need you now more than ever. This election is no dress rehearsal. And congratulations again both to President Obama and to you on your Nobel Prizes. Last we heard Romney, Ryan and Christie all did not quite make that final cut. Deconstruct onward! The Founding Fathers never shall pass this way again. Finally if the far side of nowhere cares not for the Garden State where we all were born may they get a taste of the Granite State's motto: "Live Free or Die".

New York Police Department Stunning Display of Reckless Shooting Ineptitude Pegs Nine Civilians on Busy Manhattan Street

Sunday, 26 August 2012, NEW YORK, NEW YORK - The Ninth Amendment reminds readers to avoid reading FREE UNLIMITED CONTENT FROM THE DIGITAL NEW YORK TIMES SIMPLY BY BYPASSING THE TIMES "CADILLAC' PAYWALL USING READERS' FREE FIREFOX BROWSERS SET TO "PRIVATE BROWSING".  Furthermore in a Public Safety Announcement New Yorkers and those who may find themselves vacationing or traveling with armed New York Police Department (NYPD) officers are cautioned whenever possible to "stay low" and "duck and cover".
The NYPD in a growing trend for which it has suffered virtually no legal consequences as it reportedly ramps up practice for the next round of "Occupy"on Friday shot nine innocent civilians standing around in the street. The "thin blue line" let loose a fusillade of armor-piercing lead and rocket-propelled grenades outside the world famous Empire State Building shooting at a suspect by whom none of them had been hit and killing the suspect at least seven times over. The Empire State Building for readers new to major American landmarks formerly was the world's tallest building once surviving with relatively minor damage a direct hit by an errant American bomber that made a navigation error while flying in bad weather.
Apparently flying blind in fog without instrumentation is considered an aviation no-no over a city such as New York which generally has been known at least since the dawn of peopled flight to have rather tall buildings. This unfortunate incident allegedly was overlooked by the architects of the World Trade Center decades later according to reliable sources such as the Bush the "little shrub" Administration thus leading at least in part to the tragic vulnerabilities principally of Towers I and II on 11 September 2001. This is no source of humor, and Americans shall never forget the horrible events of that tragic day, our thoughts and prayers forever with those lost and their loved ones.
As for this past Friday the NYPD from initial reports showed no similarly honorable behavior instead itself terrorizing New Yorkers in a free display of the power it now can wield with handguns that shoot many more rounds much more rapidly than former weapons with which it routinely was entrusted but no longer with any concomitant need for target practice. The patrol guide, the Department’s manual, states that officers should not fire their weapons when, “in their professional judgment, doing so will unnecessarily endanger innocent persons". Knowledgeable NYPD superiors held up Friday's civilian carnival shoot as a perfect example of this policy of "professional judgment" in practice.
Interested New York readers may wish to consider lightweight Kevlar (trademark DuPont) workwear knowing that NYPD officers today boast a dismal record of hitting the correct target in only 34 per cent of police shootings. Who gets hit by the other 66 per cent of bullets is anyone's guess. Rumors exclusive to the Ninth Amendment network suggest that future public NYPD "firepower" demonstrations will be held at other famous NYC landmarks at surprise times not to be announced (as already occurred in the past such as when officers shot an elderly man attempting to help a woman save the life of her baby whom officers apparently mistakenly shot to death).
New Jersey officials were quick to maintain to the NYPD that the Statue of Liberty actually although in New York Harbor is on an island, Liberty Island, often mistakenly thought to be in New Jersey. New Jersey reportedly since the 1960's has been more reticent about unfavorable law enforcement publicity since the seminal Bob Dylan ballad and Denzel Washington movie about "Hurricane" Rubin Carter who could have been "Champion of the World" had he not been railroaded into a life sentence for a crime he was known not to commit. Mr. Carter's personal tragedy however was not known to have involved the reckless near massacre of New Jersey residents by gunfire by local New Jersey police.
Meanwhile our exclusive sources in "tent city" report the NYPD's decline of an offer of a detour to help the NYPD by Maricopa County, Arizona Sheriff Arpaio and his volunteer posse (who last were thought to be headed for Washington, D.C. to execute some kind of warrant on President Obama in the spirit of New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison's New Orleans Parish prosecution for the assassination of President John F. Kennedy generally believed to have taken place in Dallas, Texas). The patriotic Sheriff subject of multiple ongoing federal investigations volunteered allegedly also to make a stop in NYC to help set up "tent cities" in landfills and other underused real estate.
Our Century City, California bureau reports that this offer to date cannot be linked to the Sheriff's reported attempt to sell a sequel to the M*A*S*H franchise called M*P*S*H ("Mobile Police Surgical Hospital") co-created by United States Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia to be set in Sheriff Arpaio's Scottsdale, Arizona backyard.
Meanwhile the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) engaged in a vicious turf war with at least thirteen other "national security" agencies at the "black ops trough" reportedly pitched for authority itself to take over policing Manhattan. The CIA claims its drones usually only "hit a few more extra civilians" than NYPD police actions, that it was more practiced at plausible deniability and training manual drafting, as well as the destruction of evidence and perpetuation of permanent employment.
Accolades also to expected new Ninth Amendment IT expert "Big Big Joe" who impressed headquarters and global bureaus alike using only his wife's blowdryer quickly to repair a major log secure server facility in a matter of seconds in a trick learned from the United States Government and demonstrate that technology still can be used for peaceful purposes plus allow the log to maintain is rigorous although perhaps oblique publication schedule. No the Ninth Amendment's computer servers are not Apple equipment and never will be (trademark Apple computer) following disclosures to be considered in future posts.

BREAKING - Vasili Alexandrovich Arkhipov - "The Guy Who Saved the World"

16 August 2012, WASHINGTON, D.C. - The editorial staff and global bureaus of the Ninth Amendment log remind readers to avoid BYPASSING THE NEW YORK TIMES PAYWALL SIMPLY BY SETTING FREE FIREFOX BROWSERS TO "PRIVATE BROWSING". After an exhaustive research effort instigated by Professor Noam Chomsky and undertaken by the Ninth Amendment among hundreds of scholars, academicians and historians worldwide the Ninth Amendment editorial board expresses our profound gratitude to the man identified here as "the guy who saved the world".
The United States Government has seen no reason to celebrate the man "who saved the world" in the 2002 words of the former head of the United States National Security Archive in light of the apparent sheer idiocy of the United States Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis of dropping live "practice" depth charges in a still largely unknown incident alluded to by former U.S. Defense Secretary Robert McNamara as bringing us to the brink of the end of the world.
The Ninth Amendment trusts that our readers to whom we pledge best efforts always to keep best informed of the distilled real vital rather than "distractive" news of the world in this present matter derived from Wikipedia to which all credit is given and none claimed by the Ninth Amendment would and do wish to know if not already the identity of the individual whose documented actions are the reason that we and all of our readers as well as likely the entire world community are alive today.
Our profound and eternal thanks to Vasili Alexandrovich Arkhipov who on 27 October 1962 with no fanfare saved the world against all odds.

Mitt Romney and the Republican Clown Rodeo Keep Peeling Back the Endless Onion of Lies (Per Krugman)

Sunday, 22 July 2012, NEW YORK, NEW YORK - The Editorial Staff and worldwide global bureaus of the Ninth Amendment are immensely excited now to be back in touch with our worldwide audience sincerely hoping that this post finds all readers, websurfers, and indeed any and everyone here on purpose or by mistake in good health and able to maintain the proper course whatever that may be. We emphatically remind READERS THEY SHOULD NOT BYPASS THE NEW YORK TIMES PAYWALL SIMPLY BY SETTING READERS' FREE FIREFOX BROWSERS TO "PRIVATE BROWSING". So who is getting richer, who is getting poorer and who does not know? Please raise your hand.
The following comment was submitted by the Ninth Amendment to the New York Times in response to Professor Paul Krugman's alarming piece exposing Mitt Romney to a continuing to all that the man is a liar and like Republicans overall he is just another onion which reveals endless peals of nothingness as he is peeled down to one endlessly metamorphosing lie.
This comment below to the best of the Ninth Amendment's knowledge was NOT published digitally or otherwise by the New York Times and therefore will only be available to those who read it here or somewhere else, including the soon to be maybe published "Not Necessarily the Best of the Ninth Amendment" which is not expected to be illustrated by Ralph Steadman nor any known blood relation of his.
The Ninth Amendment always found Mr. Steadman to be a most delightful personage even though he spat on his book which we bought when we asked him to sign it. It was an artistic TECHNIQUE.

COMMENT TO NEW YORK TIMES, FIRST NOT DIGITALLY PUBLISHED RIGHT HERE

And now direct from New York, the recent introduction to the Ninth Amendment Romney comment direct from the paper that prints "All the News That's Fit to Print" and apparently tosses the rest off somewhere into cyberspace. "Thank you for your submission. Your comment will appear once it has been approved." The comment subsequently was never approved, but no one said life would be easy. . . .
The Ninth Amendment at www.waronnothing.blogspot.com returns with enormous gratitude to our enthusiastic readers and especially our new immensely modest IT department having assembled a supercomputer with nada but components acquired on "clearance" at the corner Walgreen's for less than it costs the Department of Defense to get Dick Cheney's underwear drycleaned. For national security-like reasons all future communications will be in Linux "Doggy-Style Lite" before re-transliteration to Windows Armageddon Edition undoubtedly the worst, must cumbersome operating system ever devised by primates.

With deepest and abiding respect to Professor Krugman now determined to repeat that Mitt "tie my dog to the car roof please" Romney is nothing but a liar like his protege Texas Idiot Governor Rick "Someone Buy Me Please" Perry with only an onion ring at his core and a very long potential prison term lurking in his past. As for "Atlas Shrugged" only Thomas Pynchon should write books that long though we suppose it keeps certain people off the streets. For F. Scott's ruminations on the super-rich Professor Krugman why not skip on to "The Crack-Up" where they and their progeny doubtless end up? Oops out of time for the Galt's Gulch question would you please just turn to Wikepedia. So great back on the scene, looks as if this one's to be a first-rate clown rodeo worthy of the late great Dr. Hunter S. Thompson, just as soon as Arpaio and the Posse get to DC, if they get around New Mexico....

Keyword,Eduardo Saverin,Renounce Citizenship,Facebook IPO,Time Magazine Breast Feeding,The Wicker Man, Renounce Citizenship,Obama,Same Sex Marriage,Biden,Boehner,Republican Backlash - KILL YOUR COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY TURNED EVIL

Frdiay, 11 May 2012, PALO ALTO, CALIFORNIA - Hello Readers the Ninth Amendment sincerely invites each and every one of you slowly to regain your trust that posts shall resume with regularity if it be the will of our Higher Power, the overcoming of some of our lower powers and a few other factors. No we have not been spending all of our waking lives at A.A. Clubs though there is nothing whatsoever wrong with that if one is so inclined and it helps. We share our ritualistic reminder that readers please avoid READING FREE UNLIMITED CONTENT OF THE NEW YORK TIMES SIMPLY BY READERS SETTING THEIR FREE FIREFOX BROWSERS TO "PRIVATE BROWSING".
Today's post resumes the Ninth Amendment's plan for regular posts and the several times mentioned full-blown website. To our astute readers this post will no doubt already have struck them as being a bit out of the ordinary for this log. Yes the United States Constitution still rules supreme, and one day readers who do not know the text of the Constitution by heart will actually look up the text of the ninth amendment to see what all the fuss is about, Most will have recognized that the header of the Ninth Amendment log recites the Preamble to the Constitution and not the text of the ninth amendment thereto.
No today's post, the "Kill Your Computer" title after some of today's top keywords, is reminiscent of earlier decades "Kill Your Television" bumper stickers. Yes it is an editorial most unusual to this log in that it does not convey carefully gathered and painstakingly fact-reviewed "objective" news reporting (an impossibility in any case as most of our readers recognize unless performed by the New Yorker magazine by dedicated cokeheads who have had to move on to designer drugs and heroin). This sheerly editorial material based on no facts whatsoever but carefully referring to "public figures" based with any resemblance to persons living or dead strictly on purpose. Also just so readers can know how ludicrous the whole thing has become with keywods, the top two today on Google were both the word keyword. Also was The Wicker Man which as we recall from some years back was an excellent although rather obscure movie.
As we struggled most recently with the latest unwanted and unneeded "upgrade" to our e-mail (take your pick) it struck us like a bolt of lightening that we liked it just fine fifteen years ago when we exchanged a reasonable number of messages with actual personal friends (not for example someone labelled "Your best friend Roxxanna" on the inbox list of senders which your partner should that be your situation sees and says "Who's that!"). All too sadly these services have co-opted the cool sounding names or imitations of the genuine 1960's non-commercial expressions and fully exploited them with names such as Yahoo!, Google, and so on.
Alas the lure of money and lots of it if one quickly took hold of a leading position, and these bastions of apparent goodwill exposed themselves as what they really were, the frontpieces of the same nerdy geeks who no one hung out with at school because they really were not cool at all but spending their "bright college days" (copyright Tom Lehrer) shrewdly thinking out their life financial plans. Having acquired no sense of political history or social conscience in most cases under the illusion that that could be all be bypassed and these were strictly numbers and science people, they cluelessly continue in the greediest fashion possible to create an evil empire selling the information of our personal lives back and forth and no doubt providing it to the CIA and eleven other "national security" agencies in the U.S.government.
They no longer provide e-mail service that works (ours worked better ten years ago and did not require a constant waste our attention to technical matters which had nothing to do with that in which we were interested), Google the brainchild we heard so long as being coming our way from a M.I.T. professor using who knows how many M.I.T. students to one day get themselves richer than Wall Street pigs and recapture the days of the worst accumulations of wealth since the abuses of the nineteenth century. Google would be great and new because it would search for links and cross-links and we do not know what, but in short order what had it become but another search engine corrupted by "Sponsored Links" as note in faded letters on our computers that started to move down the screen from the top and then the right side of the screen as well. So how many of those coveted positions on page one if counted now actually were bought and how many achieved their position simply by money.
We will not even delve right now into the world of "social media" which who knows what that weirdo Zuckerboy really had in mind. In any case it just has become one unwelcome expansion after another as the map the whole world right up to our orifices, introduce "timelines" that nobody wants (no doubt because Zucdkerboy has some yet undisclosed plan for making them all richer), And then of course along came Twitter how cute and innocent we have never touched it or sent someone a twat.
But they too now swap back and forth our readers' and half the world's attention back and forth between them if you forget a password on one service that being the quickest lazy price to pay just let all your most private information, your likeness, your activities, your family, everything. No doubt we just touch upon just the tip of the iceberg as every new "unwanted" service is shoved down people's throats with so much legal garbage (from the highest priced lawyers have no doubt) that one could never bear to read it even if they could figure half of it out.

People will do as they wish. Should they want to do the CIA's work for it, which as the successor to the OSS and actually was never even empowered to spy at home on US citizens engaged in their domestic affairs, people will do so. J. Edgar Hoover head of the agency, the FBI, which was given limited authority in the area of domestic affairs,  would no doubt have have been beyond words of joys to have all citizens compile their OWN files for the FBI and just hand them over through the likes of Google, Yahoo, Facebook and all of that crowd.
Yes Edward Saverin the billionaire co-founder of Facebook has done us such a timely favor renouncing his US citizenship just before the Facebook IPO as these things have weighed on our minds and now he has hit every American in the face with what it is all about. Who of them knows about or could care less about the hundreds of millions of people they exploit? It is all take the money and run. And who cares if one in the end just served as a tool for commercial interests, the FBI, the CIA and who knows what others. If only Joseph McCarthy were around, when he was not picking up his morphine at his pharmacy, no doubt he as well would be delighted.
Do not be a fool. Do not be a tool. The Ninth Amendment has some weird ideas of its own for Zuckerboy and the rest of the crowd who embody no sixties values at all. They just do not even want to bother to tuck their t-shirts in their jeans when they met with world leaders, who believe us, the techies will be the ones one day who will be dressing up for them. And they may well be sporting balls and chains should they not please the powers that be and always have been. The best intentions gave us the world in which we grew up, and finally the most enduring legacy which the scientific geniuses left us was the chance to go to school, to learn to duck and cover, and never know if on ten minutes warning we would be killed by someone we never met and never would on the other side of the world.
For now let them use "cool" names but really we are confident they are well on their way to being be the General Electric, the Lockheed, the W.R. Graces of the 21st century, and to invest in that no thank you. The Ninth Amendment values Facebook's IPO at zero.

It Is Not Just Another Bad Idea, It Is The Law, Lawyers Get Rich Off Disabled

Tuesday, 24 April 2012, NEW YORK, NEW YORK - Weeee're back! Hello patient readers what can we say? No excuses, those are for governments. Readers should remember as always to avoid READING FREE UNLIMITED TIMES CONTENT SIMPLY BY READERS SETTING THEIR FREE FIREFOX BROWSERS TO "PRIVATE BROWSING".  We missed each and every one of you greatly and shuddered at the thought of another day and night passed with no new post and no new features just before it all comes together as the the various components of the imminent web page that will bring together a broad range of features now in the final stages of beta development with more of the best minds of our generation daily coming on board. The spirit and unique perspective of the news reporting elements of the log (also called the truth) certainly will remain the foundational core of any web page evolving herefrom.
Nevertheless the gonzo journalism heritage of the Ninth Amendment sprung from the void of truth about the United States which is actively distorted and withheld by the State from Americans, and as we have seen somewhat surprisingly in our worldwide strategic big-screen TV "Situation Rooms" (just like the White House only no ballroom), duplicate disaster facilities, and scores of posts and stations, also apparently of growing interest to a steadily growing readership worldwide amongst our sisters and brothers bound in the politically and commercially created artificial borders into countries which now span the globe.
All statistical reports from those lands that neighbor the United States literally or here on the American continents extending to places at the furthest reaches of the other side of our planet encourage the Ninth Amendement daily to forge ahead in its humble efforts at effecting the continuation and expansion of gonzo journalism with a fervent need to document those responsible for the dismantling of the United States Constitution, as the Ninth Amendment is proving to be of keen interest to a growing readership which now spans the globe with statistics showing the frequent addition of readers in new countries weekly to this log.
The comment below submitted to the New York Times by the Ninth Amendment editorial staff (not known whether it was or was not digitally published in the Times) responded to an article appearing therein with the last week regarding the apparent expoitation by lawyers of a law meant to protect the disabled but is being used by some of the City's most high-profile disability lawyers to make themselves rich off the mandate of provisions of the law mandating the payment of reasonable attorneys' fees to lawyers in such cases because none of the disabled could be expected to do so as the law essentially provides the wronged disabled plaintiff nearly no award while allowing the attorney recover many times that for their work in winning the case for a disabled plaintiff.
In point of fact the plaintiffs are somewhat poor examples of what the textbook plaintiff may look like in that the lawyers choose them from their own "pool" of potential plaintiffs for cases where they seem best suited although they seldom are familiar either with the establshment (usually a small business) being sued nor have they actually themselves suffered the harm for which their attorney receives their fee award (which is multiples of what the disabled plaintiff receives) until their attorney introduces them to the case where they will be the aggrieved party. Also convenient is that the cases near always settle so in the Times some quoted referred to this as "extortion" or "shake-downs" where a lawyer might be prosecuting several cases at once often with the same person serving as plaintiff in several of the cases.
    • BigMartin
    • waronnothing
We are totally sympathetic of those with disabilities. The goals of the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) may be laudable in trying to bring some kind of rough equality for the disabled, the bill reportedly was enacted into a law of several hundred dense pages all of which virtually no one sounds capable of familiarizing themselves though many lawyers have been able to find the mandatory award of lawyers' fees provisions. A ripe opportunity for the law of unintended consequences. Here a feeding frenzy of some of the most high-profile disability law factories that latch onto the fee provision to make a lucrative career of but one law where they almost need never go to trial but merely "confidentially settle" cases including their fees without having to win while getting but a fraction of their fee for their clients often playing the plaintiff in several simultaneous "shakedowns" where the plaintiff was not even aware of the circumstances until the lawyer brought them up to speed. It looks and smells to be a textbook blatant violation of lawyer solicitation ethics laws lawyers follow in order to share the rare honor of being "officers of the court". This cannot help but call to mind another law the use of which here also may prove to be another surprising unintended consequence for these lawyers which they even now may be violating, and with which many Americans now have become familiar, and that would be RICO aka the Racketeering Influenced Corrupt Organizations Act.

Happy Sunday! Professor Says Governments Drive Countries Into Economic Disaster

Sunday, 8 April 2012, ATOP HALFDOME, YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, CA - From a most spiritual place we at the Ninth Amendment find on planet Earth a Happy Easter to those who celebrate it, a sacred Passover to others, and again ongoing understanding, love and peace to all persons the World over whatever faith, creed, religion, belief, may each and all be free unmolested to worship should they wish but above all do or not do as they please. Readers are reminded to avoid READING FREE UNLIMITED NEW YORK TIMES ARTICLES SIMPLY BY SETTING FREE FIREFOX BROWSERS TO "PRIVATE BROWSING". Before the governments' economic blunders one follow-up item.
The following lyrics were provided in a comment to Professor Krugman regarding yesterday's Ninrh Amendment musical post "The Book of Right On" (the Ninth Amendment's comment also was published in the digital Times) among many noting the song was was the original work of another artist whose original performance of it many commenters recommended:

    • Judith
    • Boca Raton, FL
Song is by Joanna Newsom--here are the lyrics

We should shine a light on, a light on
And the book of right-on's right-on, it was right-on

We should shine a light on, a light-on
And the book of right-on's right-on, it was right-on

I killed my dinner with karate
Kick 'em in the face, taste the body
Shallow work is the work that i do

Do you want to sit at my table
    My fighting fame is fabled
And fortune finds me fit and able

And you do say - oh oh
That you do pray - oh oh
And you say that you're okay

And do you want to run with my pack?
Do you want to ride on my back?
Pray that what you lack does not distract

And even when you run through my mind
Something else is in front, oh, you're behind
And i don't have to remind you to stick with your kind

And you do say - oh oh
That you do pray - oh oh
And you say that you're okay

And even when you touch my face
    You know your place
And even when you touch my face
    You know your place

And we should shine a light on
    A light on
And the book of right-on's right-on
    It was right-on

And we should shine a light on, a light on
And the book of right-on's right-on, it was right-on
Now briefly onto the subject of one Professor Krugman's posts yesterday that as best we understood many European governments and domestic interests currently pressuring the United States government have and/or would make economic downturns into economic disasters because they espouse policies which have the exact opposite effect of helping the economy but instead take it into a nosedive. The full piece for readers so interested is http://krugman.blogs.nytimes.com/ .

Thank you for your further economic elucidation now on the matter of developed countries' ruling government parties exponentially exacerbating economic woes and peoples' misery by "adopting" exactly the opposite policies that take a downturn and throttle their respective countries cluelessly into an nosedive. We at the Ninth Amendment editorial board at www.waronnothing.blogspot.com thought it was simpler than that. Republican administrations drive us full-on toward the ground, all the while of course clamoring for the full support of the people they must keep in wretched ignorance in order to ever get elected. Then every time the United States is on the very brink of disaster that may even bring the country down, it is a Democratic president who must and does pull us out and remarkably even leave us with an economic situation that is downright positive. (We cannot comment now on other countries' because our top economics/sociology expert is on assignment with that former IMF fellow currently missing in action. Kind of like the Rolling Stones journalist who had the pleasure of spending several days cavorting with that former Commander of our armed forces in Afghanistan and his top staff before Obama sacked him.)
Thank you again Professor Krugman as we always learn a lot that we missed while we were sleeping in our rooms during all our Princeton lectures, or do you give students assigned seats? Obviously you know how to make a chart.

Holy, Holy, Holy! Most appropriate In the day's waning moments of this part of the United States on a most sacred of days to many and moreover to all the World over whatever their faith, creed, belief may it be one of understanding, love and peace. Thank you Professor Krugman from the editorial staff and global bureaus of the Ninth Amendment from Agana to Johnston Atoll from McMurdo to the North Pole. Meanwhile in anticipation of what you might share in the future we are getting out the huge old speakers that the people could dance on, the ones stacked from floor to ceiling such as those Cream brought to New York on its first U.S. studio trip to record "Disraeli Gears".
