United States Meaningless Afghanistan Helicopter Shootdown "Payback"

Thursday, 11 August 2011, WASHINGTON, The Ninth Amendment reminds readers that READERS SHOULD NOT BYPASS THE NEW YORK TIMES "PAYWALL" AND READ UNLIMITED TIMES DIGITAL CONTENT SIMPLY BY SETTING THEIR FIREFOX BROWSERS TO "PRIVATE BROWSING".
Our hearts at the Ninth Amendment go out to the brave souls who lost their lives in this latest shootdown of a helicopter by, as inartfully reiterated by the U.S. military leadership in Afghanistan, a "Taliban guy". Please, a little decorum and an attempt at some type of dignity and respect, as was earned by the leaders of U.S. wars which were Constitutionally declared and thus legitimate conflicts.
Is there anyone left who actually believes this further Bush-created horrorshow will lead to anything but lost and destroyed American, NATO members, Afghanistan and everyone else's lives who are touched by this disaster. As well as the devastating effects on an exponential number of their families and loved ones? Does the latest American General who endorses local Afghan law enforcement counterparts speaking of the enemy as "guys", President Obama, President Karzai, anyone at all who gives this unconstitutional conflict real thought in light of repeatedly painful historical perspective, have real hope?
Well, we just recently have reviewed credible reports that the CIA and Cheney have already started moving business in the next round of the waronnothing  to, among other places, Mexico, in violation of United States, Mexican, and international law. The CIA has its next job to justify its relentless disservice to this Country and bottomless "black budget box", and Cheney has his next contracting profit-machine ready to move on to South of the Border.
Is anyone expecting a better outcome for the United States than for the Soviet Union, the end of which was marked by conflict with the Taliban? Will we finally learn a lesson just in time after the series of pointless military conflicts and defeats that have characterized the United States unconstitutional activities since World War II and destroyed the lives of hundreds of thousands at home and abroad? That is not to mention the usual lot who were unfortunate enough to trust and aid the US and doubtless will be left waving good-bye to the United States and "Allies" helicopters as the Taliban emerge from the trees to kill them while our helicopters still can be seen receding into the horizon, and in no time the Taliban will have re-entrenched their nightmare.
The answer? Well it must be Texas Governor Rick "six-shooter" Perry and probable running mate Sarah "where did I leave my brain" Palin. Here to save the day for us all in the United States by taking the United States Presidency and Vice-Presidency strictly by default in 2012. The man's only solution, why, of course, secede the United States from the United States. He can do that, can he not? Just so long as he leaves that tax break for the super-rich alone! They will be able to carry around their one hundred United States dollar bills in suitcases, and they will be worth nothing.
The Ninth Amendment editors and global staff apologize for our delay in not providing a post yet recommending to readers our personal opinions unendorsed and uncompensated as to the best retail outlet in the United States to purchase automobile tires. Soon to be followed by other consumer recommendations with readers' commentary welcome as we soon expand the scope and breadth of the Ninth Amendment to encompass a variety of issues expected to include, as just a few examples amongst many,  more consumer recommendations along the lines of our earlier popular post of where to purchase your same quality prescription drugs in the United States legitimately for a fraction of the price (part of our broader theme of increasing your standard of living through educated consumerism rather than higher income).
Readers should be on the look-out as well as columns offering bad advice on secrets of maintaining and fostering bad romantic relationships, mail-order paraphernalia memorializing some of the greatest slogans of the former San Francisco New American TV Show cablecast live from the 51st State of Consciousness, and, of course, in the spirit of the late great Dr. Hunter S. Thompson,  a full return to robust American political satire, today entirely lacking in United States publications, although we have to date without success solicited Rolling Stone and Hustler to provide some space for us. Our loyal readers naturally are always welcome to demand it of these publications, one built on the unparalleled writing of Dr. Thompson, and the other owned and published by a man who is NOT afraid to assert his First Amendment rights.
